For everyone who remains, I will try to be as brief as possible so as not to waste too much of your time.

For the past few months, all I've been doing is running around with my husband to doctors, and he was suspected of having cancer. We were lucky, and it turned out not to be cancer, but the diagnosis he received is still very unpleasant: it's called sarcoidosis (specifically, it affects his lungs). Treatment has been prescribed, and it literally consists of a couple of pills, because it's essentially impossible to properly treat because it's an autoimmune, poorly understood disease. All we can do from now on is monitor it and hope for the best.
He underwent a rather difficult operation, where they took pieces of his lung for examination, and also removed one large lymph node that was preventing him from breathing. It took him almost a month to recover. He feels better now, but certainly not perfect compared to his healthy self.

The overall crisis in the country isn't helping us either. Our pathetic attempts to develop our small coffee shop are no longer worthwhile. People have simply stopped coming, and from those who still go, we hear the same thing: it's become too expensive for them. There is no hope of a break in this, because the war continues and it is sucking out all our people's money. (I can't speak for everyone, some are doing great, but we are from the poor with a tiny business so it hits us the hardest)

My husband still continues to work, but we have already made the decision to throw off this ballast, although it is very painful for us. Because literally on the eve of his illness we spent money on a sign that we had been planning for a long time. We didn't have any advertising other than a very small sign on the porch, and it was barely visible. So we decided to complement it with a full-fledged, beautiful sign, which I designed myself. We hoped this would solve our low visibility problem and increase people's interest. We couldn't evaluate whether it worked or not because he got sick right after that.

All the time he spent undergoing tests and in the hospital, our business was at a standstill. We had to spend a significant amount of money on tests to speed up the process. (Not all tests in our country are covered by state insurance, or there are insane waiting lists.) And although we managed to somehow cope, I am now faced with enormous expenses in taxes and other costs that, due to the business downtime, can no longer be covered by revenue.

We will try to sell our coffee shop, either in whole or in parts (at least the equipment), but this is not a quick process and, given the general economic situation, I am afraid that we will face great difficulties here too. If the coffee shop isn't fully purchased (and the likelihood of that happening is quite high), my contribution (from my own personal money) to our beautiful sign will simply go in the trash. And this is my special personal pain. Although, let's be honest, the entire coffee shop was designed by me, and losing it is physically painful. I won't even mention the amount of work and love my husband put into it.

A little earlier, my grandmother was also sick and was also in the hospital, and I was busy helping her in all sorts of ways. At least she's okay now and we celebrated her 77th birthday this weekend.

Alongside all this, I continued to keep the house clean and draw art trying to ignore the pain, tears and complete helplessness. But in the end I can’t work as much as I used to; I'm not the healthiest person, either physically or mentally. Nevertheless, the responsibility I bear doesn't allow me to relax and somehow complain. I'm just operating on autopilot. Wake up, solve problems, go to bed, wake up, and so on.

I tried to write this post as neutrally as possible and without strong details, since I would not like it to evoke pity and I am also not looking for emotional support (mainly because it does not help me in any way), but I want you to understand that all of this is very difficult for me and it is generally better not to voice the emotions behind this post to anyone.

All of this has greatly impacted my work and ability to think clearly, as well as my ability to do PR and posting in addition to drawing. All I need from you now is financial help. All my problems have always been, and continue to be, solely about money; I'll handle the rest on my own sooner or later.

Guys, I finally got to the price-list a couple of days ago and STRONGLY raised prices for complex work, I hope for your understanding. I'm not giving up on them, I still love doing complex things. It's just that every year it's getting harder to cope and I was constantly overworking and not getting paid enough for it.
(Remark just in case: I do not blame my customers for anything. You are the best people possible, everyone who supported me throughout this time - thank you very much. My prices and other things are my personal problem and do not concern you)

But all those who managed to get full-fledged works from me at old prices consider yourself very lucky now.. I understand how much this can kill the already low demand, but I just can't hold prices any longer. Sometimes you need to take such a step, so as not to deal with more serious consequences later.

DISCLAIMER JUST IN CASE - I don’t hate other artists, I’m very happy for them.

I keep seeing people buying sketches/or something like that for thousands of dollars. My more complex art WILL STILL BE CHEAPER than popular people. So if someone wants to tell me something bad about prices - believe me, I will not regret banning you in a hearbeat >:(

I don’t care about the "numbers" anymore, I’m too tired of fighting :( I’ll somehow cope with my “lack of recognition.” I know for sure that I do good work and it costs money. It's time to end the shame and anxiety about my work, otherwise I'll just end my life in a noose.

If the orders stop coming completely - then I'll just go somewhere else. I will find my way to survive. I guess.

I have been very ill for the last 2 weeks and the whole recovery process took quite a long time (tho it's already a common thing for me hah). But, if usually I work at least a little, during this time the work has completely stopped.
Now I'm a little better and I'm returning. But I'm still a bit slow.

In the coming days I will be finishing 2 commissions that I have left, after that I will be completely free again.
So, the end of this month/early next will be the best time for you if you want to order something.
(I'd be happy with something with an autumn theme. It's my favorite time of year)

A lot of things have been done, I finally got around to repairing some things at home, purchased some new things for my PC and for home as well. There is still a lot to do that has been waiting for me for almost 2 years. But this will already be part of normal routine and life.

The most important thing you should know is that my commission queue has come to an end, I'm almost free!!!
I can't believe it. Still don’t know how to feel about this honestly. But one thing I know for sure - I can finally do things at a more relaxed pace.
