Bad news bears,
My patreon page was shut down for "violating guidelines on incest content"
I appealed the decision, arguing that nudism doesn't constitute a sexual act, and was denied.
But that's life for a nsfw artist. Especially those dealing with pokemon content. I can't say this was a total surprise.
(though the incest angle they took caught me off-guard)

According to Patreon support all outstanding pledges have been refunded, and I am no longer allowed on the platform as a creator or member.
The patreon discord server is still up, and I'll be posting this months comic updates there. (if you were a member and need access please let me know)

Shit I haven't made a new journal in a long time.
I've been sick. But new art is on the way!

Would you look at that, ANOTHER journal discussing an artists opinion on the new FA policy!
How bold and fresh and totally unexpected!

Seriously though, fa needs to rethink this.
Falsely accusing half of the nsfw artists on the site of drawing child porn, just to please a few puritanical "sfw or die" furs, is not a good move for the fandom.

I'll be going through my gallery later this week and removing any art with questionably cute or stylized anatomy.
Even though I can guarantee nothing in my gallery is meant to depict underage characters.
But Fa is basically my entire livelihood, and even if I disagree with this draconian policy, i can't risk getting banned over it :/

Ugly news: My grandpa recently passed, so I won't be around for a while. I've been close to him my whole life, and he was an awesome dude. If you read my journals, you might remember that he had a bad fall recently, and I've been doing more to help out with my grandma and his care. According to the docs it wasn't the fall that caused his health to deteriorate, but the fall was more likely a symptom of his body starting to shut down... Still got a lot to process, and things to do to get ready for the funeral. But I'll be back shortly. Thanks for all your patience and always sticking with me, everyone ♥

Lots of folks have been asking when I'll have commission slots available again.
And sadly, the answer is not for a while... My grandpa had a bad fall recently, and a lot more of my time is going to be spent taking care of my grandparents from now on.
I still have time for art, but I think I want to focus that time on my own characters so I can work at my own pace, and also start finishing long overdue art for people that I lost communication with.
So the good news is I'll be posting more personal stuff, like fan art and Tits and Prilly comics!
I still want to draw other people's ocs and adopts too, so I'll try my best to do some art raffles and ychs here and there.

Commission slots are finally open again! Well, sort of...
These slots are limited ONLY to people who have won character auctions from me in the past, and the commission MUST include that character.

Recently I've been wanting to revisit a lot of my old designs, and this seems like the best way to do that while also opening some slots~
If you aren't sure if your character qualifies for this, please send me a note to ask!
My character designs will take priority, then Lav's designs, and if I have room after that I can open general commission slots to the public.

The type and content of the commission can be anything you want it to be, including refs, pinups, emotes, etc.
I'm limiting the # of characters to 2 per commission (the second character does not have to be an adopt) and only medium detail backgrounds.
(Ref sheet limits: 2 poses with 1 outfit change max)
IF you happen to have multiple adopts you purchased from me, you can get 1 commission for each of them, or combine them into one pic.

Good news, both of my grandparents are doing fine despite having Covid! My grandpa had to spend a day in the hospital, but he's back home now. Still sick, and very weak, but all his vitals were very good! This makes my job a lot harder, since my sister is also sick, I'm the only one who can help him eat/shower/go to the bathroom/etc. But just I'm grateful he's okay.

Commissions will be opening at the end of this month!
I've got some things to finish up for a few people (thanks so much for being patient you guys, I promise I'll get you updates asap) and then I should have about 4-5 slots opening. Not sure how I'll do things this time around, but I really liked the 'idea submission' form from last time. That way everyone gets a shot and it's not just random.

Also the election happened! And as you might have guessed I couldn't be happier with the results~
A lot of people were talking about a 'blue wave' in the Senate and House, but to be perfectly honest I'm really glad that didn't happen. Yes, I think Mitch Mcconnel needs to get his balls run over by a train repeatedly, but at the end of the day our government works best when both sides have due representation. An America that is controlled by a large blue majority in the senate, house, and presidency would be a disaster. Just as it would be if all 3 were controlled by Republicans. We need discourse. We need one side to rein in the other. That's how democracy works.

I disagree with Republicans on almost every issue, but Republicans are Americans too. They have a right to have their concerns represented, and a right to have their voices heard just like I do. Trump is the antithesis to all of that. Stacking the supreme court is a perfect example. He wants victory at all costs, fairness be damned. His hypocrisy has defined his presidency, and it will likely define the GOP going forward in the future. Will the Republican party manage to put itself back together after Trump shredded any of their claims to basic decency? I don't know.

But I am excited to wake up on January 21st and know someone who recognizes how important fairness and discourse is in America. Hopefully Biden can bridge the gaps and heal the divides Trump has carved into this country like he said he will. And I wish him luck.

He's still no Bernie Sandshrew though.

Good news and bad news. As is my tradition, bad news first:
My Grandpa developed a fever early yesterday. And by last night he was too weak to even stand. He has diabetes, so that has complicated things. We called an ambulance this morning and he's at the hospital now.
The good news is, my grandma made an almost miraculous recovery. After coughing with a high fever for just 3 days, she seems like she's totally over it now. We're keeping a close eye on her of course, since she could relapse. But she seems like she's back to 100% right now.

This just goes to show how varied different people's reactions to this virus are. You can have no symptoms, it can be as mild as a simple cold, or it can put you in the hospital. Thankfully the prognosis for my grandpa is good so far, but please, please stay safe out there, everyone.

I don't have any symptoms so far, but I've been taking care of both of them this whole time (wearing a mask) so I'll keep you guys updated. Thanks so much for all your support, I really appreciate it ♡

My grandma, who I take care of, tested positive for Covid. She went to a cousin's wedding (that we all begged her not to go to) and 4 days later developed a fever. After getting her tested yesterday, she's positive and we're in quarantine. I'm her primary care giver, so I'm most likely going to get it too. So far her symptoms are mild, but she's 85, and already has trouble breathing, so we're keeping a very close eye on her.

Don't let anyone tell you this disease isn't real, or the pandemic isn't happening. Anyone can get it, and it only takes 1 lapse in judgement to get infected. Please stay safe, and please wear a mask. Even if you aren't worried about getting it yourself, it's people like my Grandma who are being killed by this pandemic, and doing something as simple as wearing a mask could save their lives.

The good news is the stuff I'm working on is super exciting and I can't wait to show you guys!

I'll keep this short, because this is a really serious issue, and I know people come here to get away from serious issues and look at cat boobies.
With everything that's going on I feel like I shouldn't stay silent. I don't think anyone should, but I wouldn't hold it against anyone who chooses to.
All our voices are important. It doesn't matter if you're a public official, an immigrant, a cop, a cashier, or a sex worker, your voice still counts.
And if we all used our voices together to decry injustice and call for change, then we would drown out the voices calling for more violence.
There's a lot of anger going around online, and in our community. A lot of it is justified. But getting angry with someone won't change their mind.
Keep an open mind and an open heart, lead by example, and urge others to do the same.
If you disagree with someone try to understand why they feel that way, instead of trying to hurt them. And let them know how you feel, instead of isolating them.
With that being said, there is real evil in the world. Racism exists, and some people will never understand things that seem obvious to the rest of us.
That's why it's more important now than ever to stand up and let your voice be heard. Change won't come easy, and we need everyone's help.
None of our lives will matter until everyone feels like their life matters.
We can all do a little more.
