How is Second Life? Is it fun? What makes it fun? I'm completely serious. :o I tried playing last night, but I can't figure out what I'm supposed to do...

My life has been so hectic at worrrrk. I've been half dead all weekend. -.-

I still have two requests to finish from a few weeks ago. >.> I want to do some art of my own, but I feel obligated to finish these first...

Oh, the manatees. Or something.

I've had a lot of strong urges to draw, but as soon as I sit down to try and draw something, I get frustrated and can't get anything on paper. Dx

I know my life has been crazy as heck lately, but I still want to drawwwww. >.<

Also... if I happen to make little sculpey keychains of chibi-fursonas, I wonder if anyone would buy? I need some survival money...

I only got two requests, but thanks to my free time being decreased even more, I shouldn't take on any more at the moment. ^^;

FWA was a wonderful event this year. I regret not attending last year, but my free spirit continues to open up wider and wider, so I believe I'm attending next year, too. :D I loved the fursuit parade. Suiting is so fun!! Especially since I have a great-looking and very comfortable partial that my buddy  floxxy_lady made for me as a gift. Getting a free water bottle as a reward for participating in the parade was a huge plus. X3 I already use it at work every day.

The Harlem Shake video afterward was also a lot of fun. XD I love watching it on YouTube. I'm not visible, but it reminds me of how fun it was to dance!

Going to the mixer for the free FWA drinking glass was fun, too. :3 We met a lot of cool people this year.

The dance competition was the best I've ever seen or expect to see. It had so much more than I expected. and I commend everyone who participated.

The Artists' Alley and Dealers' Den were great entertainment, and I bought an adorable sloth backpack from  Lemonbrat and an Amaterasu keychain from  firefeathers! :3 And I enjoyed seeing  2_gryphon and  [Koh] again!

The hotel room could have been better if I hadn't been sleeping on the floor, and the room got REALLY COLD at night! O.O But it was worth the fun times. :3

I'm so glad and  Dahso were generous enough to drive me to and fro! Love you guys!!

I'm going to attend Furry Weekend Atlanta 2013. :D So far, everything looks good. Just gotta make sure I'm gonna be able to keep my schedule clear and nothing comes up. THIS ISN'T THE QUESTION PART, YOU CAN SKIP IT
First off, I'm hoping to start 2013 with a new hobby: sewing! I got a sewing machine for Christmas, and I've always wanted to take up plushie making. I have a lot of fleece at my disposal at this point from collecting it up for a while. I also got an easel from my awesome boyfriend, along with an art set containing mostly colored pencils and watercolor pencils. So I'm trying to get more paintings done. I have finished one so far, but it was a gift to a family member and I didn't have time to take photos of it. D:
OKAY, RAMBLING OVER :P

Anyway, here's the question: I want to sell some of my art this year, maybe on Etsy. (And maybe do commissions? :3) What, in your opinion, is the best (or easiest) item to make and sell on the internet? That means the initial creation, time it takes to make, and packaging to send through the mail to the buyer. I can only think of two things that I have that would be easiest to make and sell: figures or keychains made from Sculpey, or plushes made with fleece. And please throw other ideas at me if you like! :D I really want to go art crazy this year.

REASONS FOR SUDDENLY WANTING TO SELL ART:
I want to sell things because I think it sounds like a really fun endeavor, and I feel like I'm going to be making a lot of investments, and I'll need all the extra funds I can obtain.

While I'm at work, these same characters invade my mind while I'm listening to music. Chase, my Irish husky, Joseph, my new character, and Nikki, a character I haven't posted yet.

Joseph is a British pit bull/golden retriever mix whose hobbies consist of playing the guitar, singing, and performing with his band, mostly as a tribute band. He is a romantic, but abuses his charm by constantly pursuing females in a subtle manner. His true feelings go out to Nikki, however.

Nikki is a female white fox (I can't decide whether to make her an arctic fox or just a white fox with pointed ears and a fluffy tail) from the United States who flaunts her enchanting body whenever she's performing or just out with friends. She enjoys the attention and, in turn, is a vain creature with commitment issues.

Chase is an Irish husky who shamelessly pursues females (and very rarely, males) and loves a stout drink. He performs alongside Nikki and Joseph, but has an unpredictable personality.

I want to add another male, but I'm currently at a loss for more characters. :C

Whenever another pops into my daydreams, it usually turns out to be Glo, a character belonging to  floxxy_lady. XD

It's a lot bigger honor than on DeviantArt, in my opinion. :P The users of Fur Affinity seem more concerned with just expressing themselves than with getting popularity with sell-out topics and fandoms. And sure, the popular artists tend to get more views, but that's because they've earned it with their breath-taking talents, not with photos of kittens or photos of a random naked lady. XD Sorry, just felt like getting that out there.

The good news: I just hit 10,000 page views on DeviantArt. The bad news: I've been on DeviantArt for almost 7 years. XD

I've been here on Fur Affinity for almost 3 years, and I only have 1463 views on here. XD I am soo much faaiil. I know my art isn't very much worth looking at unless it's a request that maybe one person will appreciate immediately, but that just means I gotta DRAW MORE AWESOMELY. And incorporate more other media, like sculpey keychains and plushies. :3 I still haven't completed my first plushie because I can't get one friggin piece right. But when I do, it'll be on here. :3

Anyway, funny/random rant/observation over. XD

I feel my inspiration slowly trickling back into my brain. :D Hoping to have some art up soon. I might take on some personal endeavors before opening requests again, but that just means I'll be a better artist when I do more requests for you. <3

I'm really sorry for all the time that's passed and I haven't finished my one FA request and my one DeviantArt request. Dx I've had the worst art block, and I haven't even had the motivation to try drawing anything. Work is exhausting me, and I have a few personal problems that are really taking their toll on my creativity.

So once again, I apologize. And regrettably, requests are closed until further notice. I need to gather my paintbrushes and piece my canvas back together, if you catch my drift. I might try doodling some again until I can finally create the art that I know some of you are waiting on. T.T
