Commissions Are Open
General | Posted 5 years agoSo, it's been a long time. I mean, I pop in here from time-to-time, but that's about it. Loaded up the new canid girl from our "Starship Moonhawk™" spinoff, "Covert Ops™" just to show I've been making stuff. Anyway, commissions are open. 12 slots. Right now, I'm only interested in doing pinups and basic "scenes". No comics. I have too much backlog there. A full-color pinup w/up to 2 characters is starting at $100. Keep in mind that I do drive at night for Uber/Lyft, so if I do not reply immediately, don't despair. Also, I should point out that I will do some pretty weird shit since I once worked for White Lightning. However, no "illegal" stuff like underage, loli, shota, scat, or gore. I'm not averse to vore, but I can promise you I have no clue how to do it. So we'll nix that as well, just because I don't want to do "experimental art" on your dime.

General | Posted 15 years agoSo, the exciting news is that I have joined the ranks at White Lightning, providing all of your Magnificent Milkmaid, expansion-enabled, lactating goodness. am I a fettishist? I never really thought of myself that way. I mean, we all have kinks we like to keep to ourselves. (and others, not so much lol) For example, I don't do fursuiting or costume play, but I do like furry chicks and girls in hawt little anime numbers. Is that really that much more unusual than say, dressing up as a French Maid? Some people I guess would like to think so. But remember: even Jim Kirk banged the green alien girl.

General | Posted 15 years agoIf you came here looking for a fight, you're wasting your time. I will not sit here and get into pseudo-intellectual arguments with people over nonsensical psychobabble like "Cub/pedo is a fetish like all others!" It's not. It's a psychological condition where you are turned on by the sight of underdeveloped people. This is called a "paraphalia". Is it legal to draw? Yes. Is it ok to post it here? No. And that is a business decision I personally choose to support. Because the presence of such materials harms more than it helps. Keep in mind when you are arguing your butthurt dissertations that your beloved furry gallery almost took a fatal blow by losing one of their primary merchant processors over the presence of this shit, and that would have made one less place on the internet where you can find QUALITY fur-themed artwork on the internet. And don't give me any bullshit about going to VCL, either. Try not to let the door hit you in the ass on the way out. I'm sure they'll love you over there, assuming you can get past the "Quality Assurance Police".

General | Posted 15 years agoSome folks may have wondered if I actually plan to offer anthro art, and not just toss my pr0nz that Hentai Foundry won't take up here (actually, I've only ever had one thing rejected by them, but why get bitter, eh?). Back in '07, when I finally knuckled under and came around these parts, all I had to show was my first "concept" piece for a anthro catgirl originally named "Odessa" from my fantasy porn epic "Peppermint Saga". But as of yet, nobody has seen her. Well, that's all about to change as she is about to make her first appearance in my spinoff series: Blue-Gray Rhapsody.
Y'see, I have this sorta unwritten policy: I tend not to draw characters not actively part of my story. Hence why Ship in a Bottle only gets the Ship x Alan treatment. And why, up til now, we've only seen Peppermint getting railed in my Pep Saga extras. Since "Faith" (the final name for "Odessa") will finally be making an appearance, she will at last be eligible for "bonus" works. (even though, officially, she won't appear until the third episode of the "canon" series. XD)
Also, I will probably be doing a lot more body shots of Milea, and her mother, Nitria, and her cousin, Karma from Starship Moonhawk, my flagship "straight" series.
So all-in-all, the last two quarters of 2010 and all of 2011 appear bright for my appearances at the old FA.

A Proposal?
General | Posted 16 years agoAre you watching me and maybe have a popular OC here on FA or around? Are you also an artist who could carry a few comic pages? I'm looking for you.
Now, I know people are inherently suspicious of "spec" deals, but I want to be perfectly clear: you get nothing out of this except personal pride in your work, and fun times within Peppermint Saga. If people come back to see you, or you get commission opportunities out of this, great. But I probably had nothing to do with it, at least not directly. (well, maybe. I am going to pimp the shit out of this everywhere I can find a pulpit...) so, now that we got all the non-promises out of the way, let's get to the nitty-gritty!
Peppermint Saga has a "sister" site. I call it "Peppermint Saga: Blue-Gray Rhapsody". Basically, if you came by my page and you had a semi-popular avatar/OC you wanted to see sexed up by Peppermint or her cohorts, this is the time. Now for the process:
1) You contact me and say: "I'm :icon+name: and I want my OC sexed by the BGR cast."
2) IMPORTANT: You must be an artist willing to do a 5-15 page comic for web publication. I'd also like names that have even a small amount of visibility/watchers. You cannot be the anonymous commissioner who hires every Tom, Dick and Furry on the web to do your OC in compromising situations. *I* am not drawing this. YOU ARE. That said, I will be COLORIST and LETTERER as well as WRITER. That's the "deal".
3) It's not mandatory, but PLEASE be willing to tell your readers/fans about the project. I'm sure they'd like it. A lot. lol
Here's what we have so far:

Where the HELL Have I Been?!

And that's not to say I've been playing World of Warcraft or anything like that. I've just been crazy busy, and now, all of a sudden, I have an opportunity to make a buck or two off of something I created (one I actually like for that matter) and I am jazzed to all shit. WOOHOO!!!! FUCK YEAH!!
*whew*
Anyway, sorry for the deluge of updates. I was really backlogged, and no, I assure you, I am NOT trying to flaunt myself in front of the administration around here. I've just been putting all this off for too long. Rest assured that future updates will be smaller, but slightly more frequently. Currently, I am attempting to update Peppermint Saga twice a week, so we'll see how that goes. I created some fun, downloadable art for it, too. So drop by the site and check it out, if you want.
This past week marked a landmark achievement for me: I finished the first episode of Peppermint Saga, "The Sword of Truth". This is pretty big as I have not completed an arc of any webcomic I have ever started. This week, we launch the second episode: "The Chains of Chastity". I'm stoked. http://www.pepsaga.com
I better upload that last piece and dash off before they chain me to the post and whip me like a dog for flooding the updates. Seriously, sorry about that. I promise not to be gone so long again. ^^;

General | Posted 18 years agoAt long last, signups are allowed here again, and I couldn't be happier. Well, I could... but I don't think people want to simply throw money at me to see me be happy, so I guess I'll have to EARN that one. ;)
But seriously, I'm glad to be here, and my series Peppermint saga (which will feature a full-time anthropomorphic character) is going nicely, as well as my vampire/werewolf series, The Lavenders (illustrated by the multi-talented
shadowsmyst and inked by yours truly). I plan to have more of my "racier" stuff up here as FA has a much nicer policy than a certain other gallery that uses a brackish green background as it's default theme. >.> But more importantly, I do think that my anthro themed artwork will PROBABLY get a better reception here than over there.</John Madden + the Obvious>
Anyway, thanks for having me, and I hope to have some genuinely NEW stuff up in this piece sooner rather than later. ;)
