I am in Orlando Megaplex!! This is my first fur con and I'll be honest, it is the shit! Great people, awesome atmosphere and I have heard and read a lot of stuff floating on the internet regarding the furry fandom. And by stuff I mean negative. But I took notice that this fandom is no different than any other fandom that's out there. And let me just say it is great!! I'm definitely going to do this again but on a bigger scale.

I am in the U.S of A for vacation. And that I have two weeks staying here before I leave back to my home in the Middle East.

So from time to time, I'll be posting where i am in my current location. Drop me a note to "hi!" And let's meet up! :D

I know I haven't posted anything in a while and I honestly have couple of reasons for it. For starters I didn't have much motivation to art which is because due to stress and it just bounces on and off. The other is that I am pushing myself to learning how to use a new software called After Effects. I saw a lot of people using it for movies but I was wondering for someone like myself who is a manipulator in Photoshop, how can that software work with me? Turns out after playing with it for sometime, I am just stunned at to what it can do. It has a steep learning curve but because I know how to use Photoshop, there are similar rules that apply to that software which is a huge plus for me. I won't say what I am working on yet because I have only scratched the surface of that software and it provided me more than enough tools to create my next submission. So stay tuned for that part.

On another unrelated note, I will be traveling to the US of A very soon on the 6th of July for a whole month vacation! I will be heading to San Diego and then will be driving to good ol San Francisco. From there I will be jumping a flight to Orlando and I will be attending the Orlando Megaplexcon as my very first fur con! Yes, I am very excited. Should be fun for someone like me who is new to this fandom especially since I am coming all the way from the middle east.

I was really planning on making a fan art for this game but because I was not able to get enough user to comment on the first post I have created for that project back in Aug 28 in participating in showing me their gallery of their cosplay/fursuit outfit that I can manipulate. With that said, I had to close the book on that project.

I only had one person who was and still is great and kind enough to show me his gallery of photos of his cosplay outfit and they were all really good! However, the problem is that it will only generate me 1 out of the 5 characters from FNAF's game. One character is not enough for the concept I was planning on making, as I wanted to bring in the whole cast together under one manip art piece.

So for now, the project is canceled. I might open it up and re-write a new journal entry for it. By that time, I am hoping that there will be more users participating in the photomanip project. I know you all got some crazy cosplay/fursuit outfits. I want to see em!

Those that have commented on my previous post, I am definitely keeping you guys in check for future upcoming manip projects that I have in mind. I don't know when, but when I do, you will see it in my journal entry and I will most likely note you specifically to see if you are still up for it.

For now, I am going to just create art depending on what floats my boat. Mainly from my Tumblr dashboard blog. If I was to see something randomly interesting that parks up my inspiration light bulb, I am definitely going to work on a concept art piece for it with my own perception.

Hi fellas! I've noticed that there is a huge trend over on Tumblr for fan arts on Five Nights at Freddy's the horror indie video game. I saw a lot of crazy fan arts and then I have finally decided to create one of my own, only this time it will be done through photomanipulation and not digital painting. Doing photomanipulation is not an easy task especially when I am looking for the right photos to bring out the composition in my mind in art. A perfect example of that would be my Rocket Raccoon Photomanipulation Art which you can find in my gallery.

Here's where you come in and can lend me a hand. I need help me in making this photo-manipulation happen. I am looking for cosplayers/fursuiters to be shot at a specific pose and all I need are 4 photos, the rest of the photos such as the background and stuff I can take care of that via stock photos on DA or random sites. Unless I needed, I will make another post for it.

The cosplayers do not have to be in the exact characters from the video game but I do need the look of both body and head shape to have that anamatronic look/feel to it. If you can deliver that, then that would be mighty awesome of you and you will be credited for it too.

Why I am doing this? The answer is simple. Because I can, it's for fun, it's a fan art, so why the hell not. Right? XD

The concept is still sketchy in my head but if do get responses and see your current photos in your gallery, I might just be able to pull this off.

So I've recently put together a video tutorial for a digital painting application called Krita. It's an open source but nothing compared to the likes of GIMP. It is actually much more powerful and can be compared to a hybrid of Photoshop with Paint Tool Sai when getting the right materials.

The tutorial mainly focuses on 3 things and that is configuring a Wacom tablet to work with Krita, setting up workspaces and installing customized brushes.

Ever since I have last posted a my photomanipulation project for Rocket Raccoon fursuit cosplay that I have found on Tumblr which was created by lunovulpes http://www.furaffinity.net/view/13740846/ I have been getting a lot of awesome feedbacks. In addition, I got notes about if I am opened up for commission. I have been thinking about it and I am most definitely up for it, however doing a photomanip like this does take a lot of time. Not just on my part in manipulating and editing but it is also due to the clients original photos not taken properly and that could rang from low lighting and not high resolution.

In addition, I would have to find the right photos on the web to create the correct final composition. Finding high resolution stock photos on the web is not simple and for some do require me to get permission before I can use them.

If I was to open up a commission slot for such a project, would you be interested in it or do you know someone that would be interested in having his/her fursuit cosplay to be professionally manipulated in my own style?

Hopefully if you have seen it, I have finished my latest art piece A Ghost in Shell fan art. I'm thinking of doing one of two things, another fan art OR do a legit trade with my followers or to a new comer that's reading this journal entry. However I do I have small condition just so it can be a fair deal and that is it all depends on the quality of your personal work. The reason I am doing this is because well... I don't want to start taking commission yet. I don't feel it's the the right time for it maybe soon. I do however want to feel and treat this Art Trade as an actual commission that would meet both our art standards.

So me and DarkWolf80s have been thinking and we have decided that since you guys are awesome by giving us a warm welcome and that you are watching us; we have decided that we would like to give something back to you guys! Yup! Since we have joined we have gotten 25 watchers and thought to aim it to 100.

Woke up today and texted DW80s on DA to check out our page and we have found that we've got X plus watchers. We thought it was some sort of a glitch with the site but turns out that it's not! First off, A huge "Thank You" goes to  Greykitty. This is phenomenal!

Both of us wanted to say how much we appreciate all of you for the watch! Personally me, I never thought and I don't think we would be getting this kind of appreciation like we do on DA. I guess each site is special in its own way.

So it has been couple of days on this site. I'll be honest the menu navigations are still confusing and annoying too. I'm guessing it's an old UI that never gotten the proper updates it needs.
