Commissions Open Until Otherwise Stated!
Posted 5 years agoHi folks!
I don't update my journal much, so please forgive me for the radio silence on that front. This does not mean I'm not active here on FA; feel free to contact me if you are looking for commissions or check out the rest of my journal or my profile! I will get back to you within a day for sure!
Take a look at my Trello if you're interested in seeing my commission list, personal projects or even just to look over my TOS!

Onto commission info:
Conbadges are fairly quick and easy for me, so that means almost instant results for you! They're $35 flat fee (before shipping), no matter who or what you want done. Shipping within the US is $4, please contact me directly if you live overseas and need a shipping estimate. General size for these is 5" tall and 3" wide, but can vary slightly do to horns, wings, large ears, etc. I can get these babies done and shipped in about a week or two but no more than 3 or 4 weeks. Paypal only please!
My art is completely traditional, and I ink before coloring with Prismacolor pencils. The piece is sprayed with a fixative so that there isn't any fading of the color before I laminate it. Usually I circular hole punch it so that it can be easily placed on a lanyard clip, but for an additional $1.50 I can include a flat-slit badge clip. If you plan on nabbing a badge commission please let me know which you want done or I will default to the circle hole punch.
Please give your character a little detail for me! Their personality, their interests. It helps me to figure out the composition of the character on the badge as well as how I'll draw their name and the place-card under the name, as you can see in all of my examples.
I'm up for just about any kind of character you can think of, all genders (or lack thereof), species, fantasy or roleplaying characters, humans, fancharacters, etc. The only thing I ask you don't want done is robots or transformer-type characters. I'm not very good at them. :( If you have any questions about what you want done, feel free to contact me.

Printer Update! Always Open For Commissions!
Posted 8 years agoHi folks!
Just wanted to leave an update that I've finally collected enough for a new printer (which is on it's way sometime this week) so I'm excited to have a new print-maker and overall pretty toy. :3 Thank you to all who've helped me raise enough!
On that note, I'm still always open for commissions.

Printer Kicks The Bucket; Four $25 Conbadge Commissions OPEN
Posted 8 years agoHi folks!
I'm still open for conbadge commissions. My printer decided to kick the bucket and I have not yet met my goal for saving up to purchase a new one.
Conbadges are fairly quick and easy for me, so that means almost instant results for you! They're $25 flat fee (before shipping), no matter who or what you want done. A new life; Happy the Muse is back!
Posted 11 years agoI'd lived in Pennsylvania pretty much all of my life, but have moved to California to live with my boyfriend. I miss my close family and friends in PA, but I'm enjoying my new life here in Cali and happy I made the move.
My Muse has also decided to make a come back! It's been years with little more than a personal doodle here and there. I still try to make time to sketch and draw for myself but have decided to open up commissions again. I say get them while you can because the Muse is a fickle thing and I never know when I will wind up closing them for another couple of years.
Commission Info here:
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/14100558/
Aside from that I do make Jewelry from animal fur, hides, bones, claws and teeth. I understand this sort of thing isn't for everyone but I'm passionate about it as I collect bones, skulls and taxidermy. Everything I make and own is respectful of the animal and I DO NOT hunt or kill the animals I use! Most bones and parts are collected from roadkill or found in the woods and cleaned/disinfected/dried by myself.

Hullo Everyone!
Posted 15 years agoBeen a while since I have updated here; been pretty busy for art unfortunately.
I've mostly been creating jewelry from bones lately, but no sketched or drawn art.
Here's to looking forward to new art in the near future however!

Furbuy Commission Offers. Please Help!
Posted 15 years agoI've been laid off from my job for far too long and after turning in countless applications (even giving many of them callbacks to check up) I have had no luck in finding another job. In the meantime, I HAVE to make some sort of effort to pay the bills. I haven't offered commissions like these in a long time, and chances are I won't for a long time again after I do secure a job. I appreciate any help! Check out my auctions.

Ah well.
Posted 16 years agoI kinda had my last sketch commission offer fall through. I'm a little disappointed simply because I have not been in a very artistic mood and I'm dying to bring my Muse from his coma. I really feel I haven't been productive enough, and would like to feel inspired enough to take some more commissions now that I've been laid off and currently unemployed. I won't take any more commissions though until I'm 100% positive I'll have the inspiration and time to finish them. Until then I'll be trying to update my gallery when I get the chance, or actually draw something!
Commissions and Such.
Posted 16 years agoWell I am currently a bit financially off track. I'm working a part-time job at CVS Pharmacy where they cannot give me more hours while I wait and hope that the new Walgreen's opening up in my city will call for an interview for a full-time position. A little extra income from my art would be a help catch up on some bills so I may as well toss this Journal up here in hopes of finding a few more clients.
I was thinking of taking a few commissions on head sculpts, like the one I did for my brother of his Drake character. He's made from polymer clay and only an inch and a half, maybe 2 inches in lengh if you count the horns. I bake them and use acrylics to paint. I'll have to run out and see if they make a matte top coat, because the glossy protective coat I placed on Drake, well, it's just a bit too shiny in my opinion. My only road black is, I'm not sure how much to sell them for. I was thinking perhaps $20-$25 depending on complexity and such, but I'm open for opinions.
Head Sculpt Example:
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1867284/
I'm always open for conbadge commissions. They're drawn and colored with Prismacolor pencils. General size for these is 5" tall and 3" wide, but can vary slightly due to horns, wings, large ears, etc. They come laminated and with a clip. These are $15.
Conbadge Examples:
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1777374/

http://www.furaffinity.net/view/577039/
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/798934/
I haven't done too many sketch commissions in the past so I have very few up-to-date examples, or even cleaned up sketch examples for that matter. However, I realize sketch commissions can be relatively quick and cheap for art collectors so I thought I'd offer them as well. Quick sketch commissions are $10-$15.
Sketch Examples:

http://magelet.deviantart.com/art/D.....nthro-36233579
http://magelet.deviantart.com/art/M.....edith-23735945
I don't take too many full-body, full-color character commissions anymore. I've had bad experiences in the past with getting backed up and not being able to finish them quick enough. Full pieces take a little more time for me, so even when desperate times call for desperate measures I will take very few of these commissions. I currently only have one full color piece under my belt, taken from blazingstar of one of his gorgeous characters and I'd prefer to see his done before taking any more of these. I'll put the offer on the table anyhow in case someone would be interested in the future. (I will draw nudity and pinups, however I do not draw yiff!) Full color pieces done in Prismacolor pencils will range in price from $30-$45 depending on complexity and what you'd like done.

http://www.furaffinity.net/view/565439/
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/565419/
I always have my Animal Crossing Keychains available, and I've been thinking in dabbling with other possible keychain sculptures. I do all of these by hand with polymer clay. AC Leaves are $7, Fossils are $6 for small, $8 for large, and Pitfall Seeds are $5.

And last but not least, I do offer prints of close to any one of the full color pieces in my gallery, here at FA or on DeviantART (http://magelet.deviantart.com/). Please just contact me to see if it's available since there were a few in limited print and I have very few left. Prints are full color glossy and only $5.

It's Getting to Be That Time of the Year.
Posted 17 years agoIt's getting close to the Holiday season here, and I need a little extra cash to buy everyone's presents with. So, I have some print auctions up on FurBuy, as well as one conbadge commission. I don't have enough time to really do a whole bunch of art commissions; I'm sure to never get caught up if I do, so I'll do one conbadge at a time until the holidays are over. I might put similar auctions up on FurBid as well if you don't have an account on FurBuy. Or hell, just contact me here if you are eyeing a print in my gallery or thinking about a badge.

My Muse is Back. Finally.
Posted 17 years agoI've finally got myself back in the mood to draw, however they've mostly been personal projects, fanart, and mostly non-furry things. I appologize for not posting in quite some time but maybe once I get a few things drawn for myself, my boyfriend and my friends, I'll open commissions for conbadges once more.

Blasted Art Block.
Posted 18 years agoI'm going through one of those periods of time where the major art block daemons are taking over any inspiration I may have. I haven't drawn in months, save for a sketch I started for someone very dear to me. Even that hasn't been touched in quite a long time. Classes will be over soon, and so will the Holidays, so perhaps I will find more time and more inspiration in the near future to get some more things posted. Maybe even start taking badge commissions again.
*swats at a daemon and misses*
I'm also thinking of getting a commission done, but I need to find an artist who won't mind drawing some sexual innuendo, possibly some boobies, and very realistic werewolves as well as humans. I suppose I'll have to do some looking around.

Art Prints For Sale.
Posted 18 years agoIt's getting to be that time of the year again when I really need to start saving for Christmas gifts. But now that I'm back to attending college 3 days a week, I haven't been getting as many hours at work and thus not getting much every paycheck. I want to find more time very soon to take more laminated conbadge commissions, but currently I barely have time to finish up the couple of commissions I'm WAY overdue on. So I'm gonna try and push some of my prints. I currently have mostly prints of dragons I have drawn up on furbid, and a few non-fur fanart pieces up on ebay. Please check them out, all my prints are only $5.00, and think about making a purchase.

Conbadge Commissions.
Posted 18 years agoI'm still taking Commissions for conbadges. If you want yours before Anthrocon, please grab a slot now! Only $15.00, They come laminated and with a clip already. I ship for free worldwide, so no worries about that. Standard Size is 3" wide by 5" tall, but can vary slightly due to things such as horns, wings, large ears, etc. They're quick, easy, and fun for me to do, and each badge will take only about a week to finish and send out.

Conbadge Creation/Laminating Advice?
Posted 18 years agoI'm actually pretty new to this whole conbadge-making thing. And I'm wondering if anyone can offer advice before I screw up any more badges.
See, My first two badges ever were
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/565456/
and
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/577039/
Now, these scans were taken before I got them laminated. I do not own my own laminator because I haven't really had a reason to own one until now. Even now, I don't have a huge demand for commissions on these yet (and I'm glad I haven't been payed for one just yet since I need to get the kinks out!) and I'm unsure buying the laminator would be worth it if no one wants to commission me on conbadges anyways.
I had to have these 2 badges taken elsewhere to get laminated. I'm regretting it now... Staples fudged them up big time. Okay, so they could be worse, and I appologize I have no pics to show you the lamination job on them... But they look perfectly fine halfway, and then they bubble near the edges on the other side. I didn't know if it was because they were die-cut? Or my bristol is too thick? But why would that be the case if it looks perfectly fine until halfway? But this is the inquery I have.
How does everyone else take care of their laminations? Do you have your own laminator? Is it worth getting one? (I have actually found a nice 4 roller one for like, 80 bucks.)
What kind of paper does everyone use for the art on their badge? See, I have to use a little bit thicker paper for my art, since I use the burnishing technique on bristol board. Anything thinner I'm afraid I'd color holes right through the paper.
I dunno. I don't know what to do. I have 3 more badge trades to finish, and I don't want to fudge them up like these 2. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated so that perhaps in the future when someone does commission me for a conbadge, it'll look perfect. :3

Badge Commissions + A Few Trades.
Posted 18 years agoWell, I feel I'm gonna sell myself just a bit short on this since I've been pushing my Conbadge Commissions and trying to sell a few to get a few odd bills payed off.
However, my brother will be heading to his first fur convention, the Anthrocon in Pittsbrugh, PA in July. He currently only has one good badge of his character I had commissioned from someone and given to him as a Christmas Gift. I'm also working on one for him that I should be done with shortly.
But I want him to have a few more badges to plaster his dragon character's face all over himself, lol, so I'm open for a few badge trades. Real Trades here, folks. I'll need to have your half done and sent to me before July 5th. I'll of course need evidence you're working and serious about sending your half (I've been duped enough with trades, I have to be careful nowadays.) Either way, he's a dragon Character, you can find Drake Valos in my gallery.
Other than that, the first 3 people I okay for a badge trade, I WILL NOT do any more trades. I rarely do them, so you may as well take advantage of this while you can. The only other way to get a badge from me is if you're my friend and I give you one as a gift, or you commission me.
I'll also take Commissions for conbadges. Only $15.oo, They come laminated and with a clip already. I ship for free worldwide, so no worries about that. Standard Size is 3" wide by 5" tall, but can vary slightly due to things such as horns, wings, large ears, etc. They're quick, easy, and fun for me to do, and each badge will take only about a week to finish and send out.
