Account Moved
Posted 8 years agoOh yeah, kinda forgot, I've moved my FA account to
A_Fox_Named_Box . All my future work and information will be posted there. Granted a good chunk of you already knew that, but still. If you want the freshest of Mage smut or see what my clean stories are like, head on over there. Starting next week I'll be posting 1 story a day for, I dunno, 100 days? Like Iron Artist, but words.

To all those worried about America after Tues
Posted 9 years agoNormally I don't like to talk politics, especially around places like this, but I'll make an exception this time.
So yeah, Tuesday sucked. People plenty smarter and more charismatic than I have said enough on that. Problems will come of this and the next couple years will be rough for a lot of people.
So what can you do?
For starters try to keep a cool head. Easier said than done, but fear is the mind killer and rage makes you stupid. Worry and anger are natural, there is nothing wrong in feeling those, but don't let them control you.
On a political level the best thing to do now is to contact your representation. All of them. Your state's senator, your district's congress person, and your area's representative in your state's legislature. This site will help you find who to contact:
https://www.usa.gov/elected-officials
As a note, be sure whoever you're contacting will still be in office for the next session.
Tell them who you are. Humanize yourself. Make yourself more than just a voice or another vote. Make them see a person worth fighting for or someone who isn't a demon or a monster. Be polite, be civil, let them know your concerns. If you live in a blue area, ask them what they can do to stop anything unacceptable from going through. If you live in a red area, ask if they're willing to break with their party to keep things from going too far. And if you live in a conservative area, check your state legislature for liberal representation and get in touch with them, even if they're not representing your area.
Write them a physical letter or print one out and mail it. That carries more weight to most politicians than an email. Call or visit in person if you can. Email if that is the only thing you have time for. But make your voice heard.
I know that the real danger isn't Trump, but the terribly people his election have emboldened. In that regard things will likely get worse before they get better. I'm not going to presume to know what living in those areas is like. Try to stay safe and stay sane.
Alright, back to not talking about this kinda shit. For real. Comments are disabled on this. I just wanted to remind people how our system, broken as it is, works. Bad things will happen that we have little control over, but sitting silently is not the good choice here.

Posted 9 years agoTo whomever it may concern. I'm at AC now. You might see me wandering around, or once the dealer's room is open working at the Furoticon table. If you see me wandering around feel free to flag me down. I'll have my Magic stuff on me, as well as a couple of other games.
Hey, go vote on our next LP
Posted 10 years agoHey gaming fans. Me and Humbug
Samanthaweltzin are doing Let's Plays, and we have more footage recorded than we know what to do with. So go vote on the next things we put up. Over the course of a single weekend we played the entirety of Dust: An Elysian Tale and the first Sly Cooper game, as well as the rest of Sonic Adventure DX, the first episode of The Wolf Among Us, and me and Tom the Dark One got past the first couple bosses in Bloodborne.
On Monday I'm going to upload the first episodes of the two highest voted, but there's a problem; as of writing Sly, Dust, and Sonic are caught in a three-way tie! So go out there, rock the vote, and break that tie.

Announcements- Gallery Clean Up, LPs, and the Future
Posted 10 years agoHey everyone, got a bunch of announcements to roll out all at once, so here we go.
First and foremost I'm not dead and I'm still writing, but more on that in a bit.
To the people following the Let's Play channel me and Humbug are doing:
You may have noticed no video went up on Friday, or today for that matter. That's because we ran out of usable footage. Now the good news is Humbug came down and we did a huge recording session. We've got a lot done and we've got 3 entire games played start to finish in the weekend. Now for the bad news, I'm still learning our mic and Humbug mumbles something fierce, so audio is a little worse than before. Better than the Dark Souls episode, but not quite the clarity that Sonic was. On top of that I got an ear problem right now that's fucking up my hearing, which is delaying the editing since that's all on me. So unfortunately there won't be a new episode until Wed. Though once that goes up we'll be back on our Monday/Wednesday/Friday schedule for the foreseeable future.
To the people who like my writing:
I'm going to be cleaning up my gallery soon and deleting a lot of the older stuff. If you want to keep it, save it.
To the people who want to see more of my writing:
I'm presenting in the middle of a project for Swallowtail, the vore publication Stank and Roco have up and running. Nothing has been officially announced yet and I'm keeping it that way until the project is further along, but it's keeping me busy.
But I'm also going to be writing a lot more, so look forward to more free stuff being posted here on FA.
Regarding this account:
The Magetorment account is going to be packing up shop soon and I'll be splitting into 3, one for Bottom Feeder stuff, one for NSFW things, and one for commissions. Keep your eyes peeled on my journals for future notice.

Where are you staying?
The main hotel... place... thingy.
What day are you getting there?
Thursday, eventually, probably.
How are you traveling?
Beep beep, someone let the octopus drive.
Who will you be rooming with?
My friend Kirspy and all her fur-virgin friends.
How is the best way to find you?
Look for my stupid button hat when I'm not working the
Furoticon booth. When I am, look for me there. I'll also post contact info on the wall.
Are there any panels you might be attending?
The
Furoticon Tournaments!
What do you look like?
Fat guy, beard, stupid button hat.
Will you be suiting?
I do have my Torment suit I'll be dorking around in.
Do you do free art?
If you like scribbles.
Do you do trades?
Maybe
Do you do badges?
Fucktonne, mostly on my stupid button hat.
What is your gender?
Male.
How tall are you?
Five foot something tallerish.
How old are you?
25
Can I talk to you?
If you can find me.
Can I touch you?
Depends on your level of hawtness.
Can I visit your room?
Not openly.
Can I buy you drinks?
I require hydration!
Can I give you stuff?
Presents!
Can I hug or snuggle with you?
Sure, but don't be alarmed if you feel a pickle. Always assume that's a pickle.
Are you nice?
Unless you're dumb.
How long are you going?
Leaving Sunday sometime.
Do you have a Dealers table?
Will be working for
Furoticon
If I see you, how should I get your attention?
Come up and talk to me. Use your words!
Where will you be most of the time during the day/s?
Will spend some time working the
Furoticon table, others time in the Table Top Games Room.
What/where will you be eating?
Things/Places!
Can I come with you for food/fun/etc?
If you're not a douche!
Can I take your picture?
As long as I get a copy.

Not Dead & Pokemon X/Y Shoutout
Posted 11 years agoHey true believes, Mage isn't dead yet. I haven't been terribly active here since the VOCT, but I haven't bowed out of the community, not by a long shot. I've been working my ass off behind the scenes on a bunch of collaborative projects across several different mediums. This octopus has his arms in all sorts of things these days. So expect to see some announcements on what I've been up to in the coming months.
And to all my Pokepals out there still playing X and Y; I've got a ton of high quality breeding leftovers that I'm tossing to anyone who'll take'em. We're talking 5IVs, perfect nature, egg moves, the whole nine yards.
I've got Hawlucha, Fennekin, Pumpkaboo, Scraggy, Remoraid, Vulpix, and Bunnearys out the ass. Seriously, been Masuda Methoding and I'm just tripping over these mons. Anyone who wants one just give a shout and toss me your Friend Code and I'll throw one at you.

Pred vs Prey: Postponed
Posted 12 years agoWell, the people have spoken and the silence is deafening. Pred vs Prey will be postponed for the foreseeable future. If there's enough interest it'll be restarted at a later date, when people aren't otherwise occupied with other projects or life issues.
Pred vs Prey: Info and Sign Ups
Posted 12 years agoLadies and gentlemen, the time has come at last. The Pred vs Prey event is now live!
Sign-ups and full information can be found here:
http://bottomfeeders.forumotion.com/
For those who are unfamiliar with the event here's a brief rundown.
Basic Info:
Pred vs Prey is a co-operative vore storytelling project. Players will create a cast of characters and, over the course of five rounds, team up with other players to write and/or draw what happens when their casts collide. Teams of unarmed prey must escape the desperate predators as they fight for survival in Pred vs Prey.
Organization:
The event will be broken up into five rounds. Each round players will team up with someone new to make their work. Players will be able to choose for themselves who they want to work with, or they can instead opt to be randomly paired. Both players should contribute to the final work and can divide labor as they see fit (IE both write complementary stories/one writes while the other draws/one inks while the other colors/both write interlocking pieces of the same story/etc). Players are allowed to opt out of rounds without any penalty and are allowed to come back for later rounds. Additionally there is no winner or loser; you are only out of the game when you want out or the game is over, whichever comes first.
Judging, Prizes, and the Bounty System:
In addition to a small panel of judges all works will be open to peer critique within the PvP group. Peer review is purely for the sake of self-improvement, is entirely optional, and will NOT be publicly posted. The event itself has no prize for best work every round, however there is the new Bounty System. Content creators who want to be a part of this but don't have the time for an entire round can post Bounties. These can range from challenges to specific things they want to see or just a reward for the best entry. Bounty posters set the parameters (provided it's something every team can theoretically do) and offer the reward. At the end of each round the judges will take the top three entries that fulfill the conditions of the bounty, show them to the poster, and the poster will chose which of the three gets the reward. Posters may award prizes to multiple teams if they so chose, but are obligated to award at least one with a prize.
Plot:
A secret club, the forbidden playground of the ultra wealthy, has organized a race of sorts. Teams are dropped off in a remote and very hostile environment and tasked with reaching the end of a grueling path alive. To further complicate things, the teams are divided into two categories: Pred and Prey, with the preds armed to the teeth but desperately low on supplies while the prey have enough to survive but may rely only on their wits to protect them. With unforgiving terrain, carnivorous flora and fauna, hungry locals, and each other, who will make it to the end alive?
Joining and Character Creation:
To join, all you need to do is go to the forum posted, register (if you haven't already), and create some characters. There is no prescribed character sheets, just post whatever information is pertinent and whether or not your want to play a Pred or Prey team. As a note, the only difference between a pred and prey team is what abilities you can use and your starting gear, they by no means lock your team into either role. You can have up to eight characters, though if you only want to play with just one that's fine. Be warned vore is (mostly) fatal, so for people who want to see their characters eaten it's recommended to have spares.
Round 1 is slated to start Mon, Oct 7.

It is coming

AC Report and Misc Updates
Posted 12 years agoSo I'm finally off my lazy duff and getting my AC con report in. Yay. For all the people I'm mentioning in this I'm not doing the icon links, way too many of you for that too work. Also laziness.
Right off the bat this year's AC was met with excitement as a piece of filling fell out of my mouth two days before leaving and my pre-road-trip car inspection revealed my back tires had no treading, like none. Luckily my dentist had an opening to fix my mouth. Unluckily my dental plan is only partial, so that and the tires sucked up a nice $500 right before the con. Yay!
Things got better with the road-trip. Humbug drove down so he could drive up with me, which was awesome since we tend to have a lot to talk about. Really made the roadtrip go by really fast. Kureno and Libra (formerly Marl and Doctor Librarian, respectively) would of chimed in, but their lips were otherwise occupied for most of the ride.
Roomed with my boy-toy Xenfox (who is awesome) this year, my first year where the room wasn't in my name, also likely to be the last year I do that. No offense to Xen and his but I'm not terribly comfortable with eight people in the room, even if I knew them, which I didn't in this case. Complaining about minor inconveniences yeah! All teasing aside Xen's group seemed cool enough, even though I only spent a couple minuets conscious with them at a time. Still, Omni parking is great, but the walk from the omni... ehhh, not so much. Also making the walk in fur-suit is super not fun. Yay blindness and overheating. So next year it's Westin or bust! Yeah!
Speaking of I got a fursuit of Torment this year. My graduation present to myself. My sister's roommate made it. If any of you lot want an awesome fursuit for cheap go check her out at
Chrispykritter. It's totes awesome and right now she's taking commissions on the cheap. Go throw money at her, she'll make you something cool ad love you long time.
At the con proper I ran into so many people. Humbug and Stank were my prime pester targets, though I got to hang with Severus, Sefra, Damien, Kraz, Salty, Roco, Sigil, Seppel, Calista, Soap, Tsumi, FishyBoner, Sparky, Eidolon, Raven, Jitters, and a couple of others I'm presently blanking on. Sorry to people I hung with but didn't give a shout-out to. Especially fro-guy, I know I'm forgetting your name but I'll never forget your amazing hair. I know there was a pair of dragons who were cool who had the same name, well one was a dragon the other was a dragoooooon. They were fun. Also holy crap Sparky was there, all the way from Italy. Can you believe that? I saw Strega, but we never really had the chance to actually chat, and I bumped into Akroha, Leshana, and Rain but didn't really talk.
I got to play some card; cleaned house at the furo draft and then stuck around to help the new players with rules. I love you Furoticon, the only game where I can tell my opponent to 'Eat a dick' and it's only slightly offensive instead of completely offensive. Also got to dick around with some MTG in the game room. Pulled out Rakdos all of once, which was fun since my constant demands of "Kill me! If you don't kill me I'll kill me for you!" and constant wrist cutting gestures seemed to both amuse and horrify my fellow players.
Didn't really do any events, mostly hung out with furs and played games. Also went shopping. Walked away with my new suit, a near full set of Furroticon: Strawberry (seriously, two cards off), the Nature of the Beast expansion, the new Tanto Cure Island Vacation expansion, the Norguard book, Roco's CVDVD, some trinkets here and there, and some other porn whose specifics I can't recall.
Overall good con. I had a ton of fun and got to catch up with a bunch of people I don't get to see. Also got to see some people for the first time, like Sparky and Damien.
Now for updates. The Pred vs Prey event got a bit of attention from some artists at AC, all of whom will remain unnamed as to not feel pressured from anyone. I'm going to get some serious info on that up in the next couple of days.
Also going to do a bit of game streaming Sunday night. Last time I picked a slower game that didn't run as well as I'd hoped on my emulator. This time in honor of the Steam Summer Sale it's all Steam games. Going to do an all asshole run. Starting out with a little bit of Scribblenauts Unlimited, moving over to a blind run of Surgeon Simulator, and then wrapping it up with a scumbag run of The Walking Dead. Maybe pepper in some dicking around in Saints Row the Third if the stream can handle it. Who knows, we'll see. Also for anyone who card about Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne, game is way too slow and grindy for a stream, so I'm going to Let's Play that shit so I can fast-forward the the bland parts.

AC and stuff
Posted 12 years agoOkay peoples, who is going to AC? I already know a handful of my friends are going, due to either giving them rides or death threats should I not make myself available, but who else will be hanging around? Kinda want to know who to plan for.

Well, it will be shortly. I'm eating dinner right now, but it'll start once I'm done. The chat is up and running, so I'll be on that for anyone who wants to shoot the breeze while we wait.

Pred vs Prey: Fast Fact Update
Posted 12 years agoGot some updates for those interested in my little project. Hopefully some of these little tidbits will help pull those on the fence over to my side.
First up some dates. Unlike the VOCT3 I'm not going to be rushing into this. It'll start when it's good and ready and the proper pieces are in place. That means it won't be starting before Anthrocon, in fact don't expect to see it starting until sometime in August, possibly later. So those of you caught up in other projects or trying to raise money for the con don't worry, this won't be interfering with those.
Second participation. This is more of a clarification than anything else, but you don't have to participate in all five rounds if you don't want to. Due to the setting entire teams can vanish and reappear without too much impact on the overall plot. So if you want to jump in for a round then run off and do something else or if you want to power through every round or anything in between. You can even jump in and out if you want. The only restriction is if you start a round we do ask you stick through that round at least, mostly for the sake of your partner for that round.
Third is a story update. There's been a lot of people having trouble coming up with teams, so hopefully the setting will help. Nothing is set in stone, so if someone has a better idea I'd be happy to hear it. The whole thing is part of an underground betting ring. Since its technically a blood sport the event is highly illegal, not openly publicized, and promises a high reward to those who can make it out alive. While some people sign up for the game of their own free will, many are 'volunteered' by 'sponsors,' and by 'volunteered' I mean kidnapped and by 'sponsors' I mean 'anyone willing to pay the organizers.' I feel like this allows for a more diverse cast than my other two ideas (Hunger Games parody and game show gone horribly wrong), since it allows for aggressive teams (those who signed up willingly), desperate teams (those who signed up for the cash), and ragtag teams (those forced into it). Additionally the abducted angel allows for players to create teams with no initial dynamic, IE random strangers brought together because they all angered the same guy.
Next; team clarification. I mentioned before that teams will consist of 1-8 characters. You do not have to play to the extremes. What I mean is it is up to 8, with 8 being the maximum. I do not expect many people to play with the max number of characters. Honestly I'm expecting most will hover more on the low end, with Pred teams having 1-3 and Preys 4-6. Again these numbers are not set in stone, you can have whatever size team you want. Additionally since this is a collaborative effort if you pair up with a player who has a larger team than you're comfortable with then it's the larger player's burden, not yours. So artists, you are not obligated to draw ALL of your teammate's characters and writers are not required to feature all of their teammate's cast. The only reason I suggest Prey teams have more is to serve as cannon fodder. Being a vore event it is expected that characters will be eaten and since they won't magically reappear having a few extras on hand would be advised. If you want a larger team but are having trouble coming up with characters, my advice is to simply think up a species you want to see get eaten, build around that, and get them nommed during the first round.
Hopefully this clarifies a few things with people. As always comments on the progress are appreciated. As are suggestions and thoughts.

Pred Vs Prey: Show of Hands Please
Posted 12 years agoOkay, so for those who missed the first announcement I'm starting up a co-op vore project called "Pred vs Prey". For more details on the project click here:
http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/4692306/
For those of you who skipped the link the short version is everyone who is involved teams up to throw characters at each other to make the best works of vore their combined efforts can create. Now when I poked around in the dark with notes and PMs and stuff I got a fair amount of interest and feedback. The initial journal was a bit more quiet than I was expecting.
So I'd like to know, who is interested in this thing? I'm not looking for commitments, speaking up won't lock you in this for time eternal. I just want to see who's got an eye on this and how many are taking the 'wait and see' approach. So to all you lurkers and creepers out there, show of hands, under ideal circumstances who would want in on something like that.

Announcing : Pred VS Prey Event
Posted 12 years agoAttention artists, authors, and other creative vore types. I'm putting together a little project called "Pred vs Prey." Some of you have already received notes about this. On essence it is a co-operative vore project.
The story goes that teams of characters (each team being controlled by a single player) will be dropped off in a desert valley, not unlike America's Death Valley, where they must find a way out and back to civilization. The teams have been divided into two categories, Pred and Prey. Pred teams have no food or water but are fully armed and combat ready.Prey teams have no weapons, but enough food and water to make the trip back to civilization.
Players will make a team of characters between 1-8 strong. There are no restrictions on characters, provided they're not invincible demi-gods or the like. However due to the nature of the event some powers or equipment will be stripped from characters depending on what kind of team they end up on. This will overrides everything (so no cursed bound demon swords on Prey teams, I don't care if it's soulbound or whatever). Same goes for Pred teams, none of this 'I'm technically 1/8th god so I don't need to eat' nonsense or 'I brought a replicator that can just make all the food my team needs.' If you're playing a Pred team you don't get the supplies, just the cool toys. It is recommended that Prey players have larger teams, as being eaten will remove a character from the event. Reforming is allowed (though no encouraged) but any such regeneration must take place outside the game-space. Keep in mind all players have power of veto over their own characters, so no one gets taken out unless their own gives the okay.
There will be five rounds, during which players will pair up, come up with what happens when their teams meet up, and then craft an entry together. These entries can be a single work both players contributed to or two (or more) works that compliment each other. The characters are fighting but the players are cooperating.
There will be feedback between rounds and a minor judging system. Scores are more meant to help gauge your progress and show where you need improvement. Though there might be prizes for high scorers, based on availability and interest.
Anyone interested head to my forum http://bottomfeeders.forumotion.com/ to register. Normally it'd all be done here, but the constant communication needs of the project make it kinda necessary to use a forum. I kinda cannibalized this from a project that never got off the ground a couple of years back, so some of you might already be registered. If you are and can't remember your password note me here on FA and I'll reset it for you.
