My first Anthrocon was Viking Invasion 2015. I waqs very apprehensive because I have heard so much about weird things about the fandom, I am a straight man rooming with mostly gay men. The whole time I was not worried if they found me attractive... \but what if they did not.

Things took a weirder turn when I found out 1 was a popular fursuiter and two were artists. I got asked all sorts of questions, and discovered things that I had no idea existed in the fandom. Even made some rather nice friends.

I was disappointed with the guests of honor though, The SD Chicken AND somebody who did voice work in nothing I had never heard of, But I got to see Bandthro.. which was just mind blowingly good.

The biggest let down is I did not get hit on, not even once.

I am very much new to the fandom, after several requests by several friends of mine, I created this FA account.
