Posted 11 years agoHopefully the new fur will be here soon, and I'll be starting on three new suits. Two are commissions, and one is a new personal suit. Time to take what I've learned and apply it, I'm excited to see what I can do with the new eye technique.

I fucked up, I know I fucked up, and I'm going to change. The situation is not going to be repeated, and the item in question will be dismantled soon.
I learned from this, and I feel a lot of guilt.

Posted 11 years agoMan, with less than 2 wheeks to go before AC, I are glad indeed the new suit is almost done. The head's almost done, and I have to fine tune all the other pieces...
Tail needs to be attached.
Main body needs to be fitted better, black mon the back, zipper added, and neck a bit looser.
Paws need to be trimmed a bit.
Feet need to have a higher ankle...
Then I have to put a zipper in the front for the crux, as well as add a missing claw to one of the paws, touch up the claws on the feet and such.
And to do all this while dieting...YEAH...I'm going to be wore out soon. Which is why my ass needs to get moving...
But then again, it's all part of the ride!!

Posted 11 years agoGetting my new suit ready, and I'm sure it'll be a surprise...had to add some extensions to the muzzle and jaw...
Bringing that and the crux this year...not room for much else, save one raccoon.
I really hope I make some new friends this year, I'm trying to lose weight, get in shape, and overall have a good time. I know a lot has gone on in the past, it fills me with a sense of warmth to see the old troublemakers fade away, and the next generation of furs come in. I'd like to hang out as much as possible, doing the night raves, and generally being myself.
But who would hang out with a coon?
Bringing that and the crux this year...not room for much else, save one raccoon.

This is why I hate January. Last year at this time I was just getting over THE WORST BACK PAIN OF MY LIFE, and then the rest of the month was spent GETTING OVER A COLD...just like now.

Still fuckin' freezing out. Mah van won't start, but at least my Camaro runs. Thank Jesus for one of the Lords Of The Road.

Posted 12 years agoJust saw the ps4 unveiled the other day, and I must say, the design is rather spartan, but at 399.00, and the ability to play used games, it's got my vote over the xbox one, which is even more of a plain design...all the systems look like boxes now, heh.
But it's the GAMES that get one excited. System exclusives are what makes one buy a system, good games, and the capabilites that come with.
399.00 vs the 499.00 xbox one is a selling point, backwards compatibility, and GAMES, well established franchises will get my money. This is why I buy a VIDEO GAME SYSTEM, NOT for television, or internet capability.
As much as I like Nintendo, I think they've rested on their laurels, and it's going to hurt them. E3 had a new super mario bros, but what about mario kart, metroid, f-zero, another kid icarus, pilotwings? Pikmin 3, I do want a Wii U for that, as well as the wonderful 101.
I feel that whatever company comes up with a virtual reality system, with the eyewear and lightgun to go with it, will revolutionize the industry, and it wouldn't suprise me to see nintendo pull something like that out of their hat.
Something new has to happen in the generation after this, I don't see the industry remaining viable under these conditions. Consumers want something new and affordable, a new perk each generation.
And with a VR system it opens up an entirely new type of gaming...

Posted 12 years agoMaybe it's the passage of time that mellows one out, for I haven't been as active as I would like to be. Work, some video projects, and these commissions I need to make more progress on.
I really wish I was more social these days, there are a lot of new furs out there to meet, wisconsin has quite a few, actually.
I think that once the new serieses take off, I'll be better off, my own personal soapbox to chirr from. It sucks that I won't be at AC for the first time since 2004, but way too much cash needs be spent for that...I am not rich, and things need to be taken care of here.
But MFF is a go for coon, I am sure. Also, there is a pridefest in milwaukee this saturday, and also a furry BBQ and a rocky horror picture show that night, which I would go to if anyone would accompany coon.
I'm not falling away...just regrouping.
