General | Posted 12 years agoWolf Hollow, a small wolf reserve in Ipswich MA, holds an annual Halloween themed day where people can wear costumes and, at least the past few years, they give the wolves pumpkins to eat and it can get quite cute/entertaining. You cannot enter the pens, it is strictly a viewing and the fence does get in the way of getting good photos but it is still a nice place to go both for fun and to show our support.
There is a costume contest for children but I asked if adults in animal fursuits would be welcome and they said that the kids would love it and we would be welcome to come, typically they have turned down this idea but for the Halloween day they approved of it.
The gates open at 6pm and the presentation starts at 6:30. it is expected to go till about 8pm. It is $7.50 for adults and $5.00 for children. They also have a small store that sells wolf themed knickknacks such as plushies.
Sorry to say, there probably will not be room to get changed in and out of fursuits but we can ask again when we get there.

This is also a very public meet. Not only is it outdoors (with a roof) but it will also be in front of paying customers and a large number of children, for this reason there is to be no sexual content at the meet or in the parking lot. We are all adults, the other adults, strait gay or otherwise, will not be kissing or groping in front of the children and I expect the same from all of us.
If people are interested we could organize going to a movie or out to eat before or after (though I am in class so I am unsure how early I could get there) but please post if you would like to come, need a ride, or have interest or an idea for what else to do while there.

General | Posted 13 years agoWell that was interesting. Just saw something you wouldnt expect to see on your ride home at 4am. Im on my street, 3 houses down from my house and randomly decided to slow down, good thing too. There were 4 horses standing in the middle of the road on a blind turn. I pulled into the guys house and all the horses ran over to see what I was doing, they were even nosing at my hand when I ultimately decided to call 911 when the guy didnt wake up to me knocking. Forgot how much I loved horses.
My last experience made me a bit afraid of them.... long story short one horse almost hit me with his head (horses skulls are pretty heavy and hard and move a lot faster than you would expect) and then the other horse tried to mount my friend, only he did not want that cause it probably would kill the tiny guy

i had a great weekend but now im fucked
im really depressed for lots and lots of reasons
....
ok....i need to ... hell i dont know what i need or what i want anymore......
i cant tell what i should do or what i want to do or anything about my life and i feel like im going strait down.....i want this year to just end already. school is to much for me to handle......i really feel like i just fail at life and am not good at anything, even just making up my mind when i know what it is i should do....
i need this night to end, i need this week to end, i need this semester to end....... im not gona say life
i may be crazy lately and begining to have a bad week after a strange weekend of very very strong and mixxed emotions all confused and fucked up but i am still sane enough to know myself well enough that i wont hurt myself. unfortunately i am also sane enough to know i need to go get help :'(

everyone is always busy when I'm not and I'm always busy any other time.
Also, I had 4 exams the day before spring break, now the first week of classes back I somehow have an exam for every week for the next 4 weeks. Then I get a week with no exams before I start finals....also I am failing enough classes that I may not return next year.....
so due to all this crap I'm not going to FWA :'(
Also I'm not doing anything I enjoy for some time for the same reason....
also - also - I can feel two of my fingers because I get frostbite over a month ago and still haven't had time to see a doctor about it.....school is literally killing me inside and out.....anxiety sucks
OK I'm done with my emo rant.....life sucks and I can't get use to it.....so my doc gave me pills, lets hope they help

Its been dead for about 8 weeks now and I haven't been on FA for much of that time because I was shy when I went to the library cause I'm woried someone will see, even if I wasn't looking at nawrty bits.
