Okay, so! New experiment!

I'm closing my regular queue to give me time to catch up, but I'm still accepting new orders.

From the time of this journal being posted, all new orders will hit my waitlist. When I've caught up and am ready to open my queue again, I'll scramble these pre-orders and add them to my queue in random order.

So in other words, feel free to contact me with orders and ideas anytime and you can still get a spot, you just might wait a little longer!

So! Like. Two things I have noticed when accepting orders for stories is one, it takes a little more effort to work out a story idea than a picture, and adding strict time pressure can be a lot of pressure for all of you!

So, new solution: if you have an idea while my queue is full, you're still free to reach out to me to discuss it and even place your order once I have it confirmed. Once I re-open, I'll take all the pre-orders I've received (if there are multiple) and just RNG them to be fair. That way, there's no big panic to be ready the exact minute I open my queue!

Given I've struggled before with ideas that have been given to me with no prior discussion, I think this is a good way of encouraging people to reach out to me and chat me up when they're considering a story! Have I said enough times by now it's a good idea to discuss your thoughts with me before ordering because it is.

Also! For now, I'm still open! The queue's filled some but I'd be happy to take another story or even two if anyone's holding onto ideas! Just let me know!

Hey all, just to let you know I'm experiencing that nebulous issue of random computer dysfunction. I've done some tests and think I've got it all traced to my PSU, which is very old. The problem is, since it works as an external AC adaptor rather than an internal unit, I can only buy a replacement from the manufacturer. Looking at ~$150 of an unexpected expense.
