Thank you all very much for being supportive of this decision. I'm moving ahead with my career in the art world, meaning I will no longer be a nsfw content creator, for obvious reasons.

This is just a heads-up to anyone who still checks this page.
As of tomorrow I will be closing this account. The reasons behind this are both personal and professional. Don't worry, there's nothing bad happening, in fact it's the total opposite!
But I apologise to anyone who still checks this page despite it being inactive for so long.

Firstly I'd like to apologise to every single one of my watchers for being so slack in terms of updating this place. Life has been super intense of late, but that's all about to change! So I figured I'd post an update journal about what has been what is present and what will come. I've divided the journal up into sections so you can just skip to any that interest you if you so wish!
Internship, Work and Classes:
For the past 6-7 weeks I've been doing a 3D character modelling internship three days a week, as well as working at my other job AND doing my homework. The internship was unpaid, sadly, but it was an amazing experience in the world of video game art and I'm actually surprised at myself with the amount of work I managed to get done in such a small amount of time! It ended yesterday so I should have more free time on my hands starting now, though I am currently looking for more work. I really enjoy 3D modelling and can't wait to earn a proper position in the field!

Some of you may already know, but I tend to be more active on Twitter of late, as I can post small and easy updates there. I post sketches and other little random things that I don't usually post here there too. Though going forwards I'll be sure to update both locations. Whether it be opening for commissions again, drawing my own stuff, making a growth drive or YCH, taking on 3D model commissions, etc. With more time, I should be able to dedicate myself to drawing big beef again, so please let me know what you'd like of me in the future!
I'll also be hitting 2000 watchers both here and on Twitter very soon so I'll have to have something BIG planned for that!

With my restricted time schedule, I figured a YCH would be easier on myself than opening for plain old commissions (I unfortunately had to cancel my previous batch). That way I can control the pose and such and plan out my time.

I'm currently looking to gather feedback from you guys in regards to my commission prices and what I should be charging based on what I'm capable of creating. As a result, I've thrown together a quick form asking for you guys to say how much you'd be willing to pay for each type of commission. As celebration, I'm holding my first stream in ages this tuesday evening at 8pm Eastern US time (9pm central). And you guys can help determine who the "victims" of said growth are! A Little Update
Posted 8 years agoHey guys, I wanna apologise for not being around lately. Classwork and my job have occupied the vast majority of my time over the past few months so I've been unable to do much drawing at all. I have roughly 4 weeks left of super intense pressure from my classwork before things finally settle down and I get a little more time to relax and hopefully get back into drawing.
I've had a few folks approach me for commissions which I've reluctantly had to turn down because I just wouldn't have the time to work on them right now. I wanna apologise to you guys and let you all know I'll be back into drawing soon and will look at reopening and accepting commissions!
So yes, I'm very sorry for my quietness everyone. It shouldn't be long now before I can get back into drawing beef

From feedback I received on Twitter, it seems a Pokemon would be the best "victim", so I threw together a little poll of potential Poke's!
Check it out here: https://goo.gl/cMPPCO and have a say in which Pokemon grows into a giant beast!
I tried to keep it open while sticking to Pokemon I'm comfortable drawing.
Once I gauge the interest, and work out how to properly go about a Growth Drive, I'll be back with some more info!

A Little Confession by Fissure
Posted 9 years agoSo lately I've come to realise something. Something that probably would upset a few fans I have. Something that makes my username here a lie.
And that something is that when it comes to large muscles and hyper sizes, I pretty much have a limit. Not a limit on how big I like guys to be, but on my ability to draw them.
It's kinda like an invisible wall of sorts. I have this certain threshold where once I reach it, I can't draw any larger without it looking weird. I get all confused on sizing of body parts, head especially. I dunno what muscle should be showing, where I should make bulges, etc.
I've been told many times that I need to be drawing bigger, and even work on my anatomy and I guess my username would suggest that too. But honestly this silly username was just one I made up on the spot when making this account, before I decided to adopt Fissure as my mascot.
Despite all this, I am actually quite happy with my sizes and muscle detail. There's plenty of awesome artists out there who draw overly buff things for you guys to give all your respect to. As for me, while I'd love to break down that threshold that prevents me from drawing hugely massive characters, I'm actually quite happy with the usual sizes I draw, as well as the cartoony, non realistic muscle style I've developed.
Sorry if that was a long rant XD
