I have an immense dislike for it.
In fact you could even go so far as to say I hate it.

Why so? Because more than once now I've been "screwed over" (for want of a better term) by very popular artists via their Patreons.
My advice is to stay far FAR away from it. Especially avoid artists that promise personal rewards for higher support pledges. It's only going to end in tears as you're paying extra money for something you're 90% likely never to receive.
See, money isn't really an issue for me so I've supported a couple of artists in their highest tier pledge categories. However none of these artists, after several months of support and A LOT of my money forked over handed out all of the rewards they promised and some even handed over NOTHING I was owed. And the issue is that Patreon pledges are considered a "donation", so there's nothing legally binding these artists to return your money. They just take it and run because apparently they're bulletproof.

So in summary. Run. Do not go there. And if you do, only support artists who don't offer personal rewards, meaning only support those who offer early access and such, not free pics of your character, because the odds are very high you'll lose your money and have nothing to show for it. I'm lucky enough to be financially stable so if these desperate artists want to take my money and run so badly, I just scoff at them and feel nothing but pity. But I feel horrible for any of you guys out there who are short on cash and yet support these artists out of the goodness of your heart, only to be screwed over. So please don't risk it.

There has been of course ONE artist I've supported on their for a while whose very approachable and who delivers rewards as promised. He is amazing and I'm glad to be supporting him!

Heya all!

The big Barawak's birthday is coming up fast on the 22nd of Feb! I still have no idea what to ask for... I'm the worst when it comes to asking for gifts XD ANY SUGGESTIONS FROM YOU GUYS?!
As well as the 22nd being my birthday, I also begin my two year course for 3D character modelling and animation that day too! It's online though so I can study whenever I want between drawing and work.

So before I get a little busy at that point I thought I'd try my hand at a batch of quick commissions! They'll be full body coloured pieces for single characters, $15-$20 each (depending on the size of your character). Take a look through my gallery to see what you can expect in terms of art style and quality and such.

So where has the Barawak been?

Well, truth be told I was actually getting kind of disappointed in my own art that I post here. I wasn't putting the same effort into and producing the same quality of art here as I was on my other main blogs. I felt that what I was producing wasn't worth the money for commissions and such, so I decided to take some time off to just focus on drawing things for me.

I apologise for disappearing. Truth be told I barely even logged into Skype during this time either. I'm sorry for disappearing guys and hope you don't think too poorly of me.
I plan on starting to make art for here again, so I hope you'll support me in that!

And to start anew, I plan on streaming tomorrow at 5pm eastern US time. What I'll be drawing, who knows! Not even I know, but it'll involve big dudes, beef and big dicks, I assure you!

I've seen Journals where people say they'll answer TMI questions and decided I'd give it a go!

Hope everyone had a wonderful christmas! Mine was eventful and busy as always. Not to mention having to do some god awful night work the week of Christmas (working through the AM hours is horrible, let me tell you). But it's all done and dusted now and I'm ready for the new year!

Even though I'm working on Christmas stuff away from FA, I thought I might do this in preparation for when it's done!

I'll be disappearing for a while!

Why? Well I have a busy few weeks ahead of me. As I've always said, drawing this stuff is really just a side project for me, so I'm focusing on my non furry art for Christmas. I've also been asked to draw again for that work colleague, a Christmas pic this time for her family.

Sooooooo I'll be wishing you guys a very merry Christmas and a happy new year! I'll be loitering around but not uploading. So I'll be seeing you guys in the new year!

Sorry guys, but PokeMen Streaming won't be happening this week, sadly! I didn't have time for it early in the week when I would normally hold the stream, and sadly the same goes for the end of the week! So the next PokeMen stream will be next week!

And to make it even worse, I shall be closing commissions for a little! The couple I still have lined up are fine, I'll be finishing them as per normal. Just not accepting anymore for a bit!

So I was trying to think up a way that I can better manage what I draw during the streams while still letting the audience get involved. And then I had an idea!

PokeMEN!!!

Basically I'mma draw a beefy anthro version of one Pokemon of each type. Three types per stream, and I'll always post a journal a set amount of time before hand to announce the types. You guys just suggest one Pokemon of each type for that stream in the journal comments here and I shall draw the one of each type that has the most suggestions! If there's no clear winner I'll pick one from those suggested that I find most interesting.
How's it sound guys?

The three types for this stream will be:
FIRE (Please no Emboar's... I've already drawn two of them in these streams. Share the love!)
FIGHTING
FLYING

I join this site, trying to be the good guy... I draw so much art for everyone else, having only a few pics of my own.
And yet still, when something doesn't go someone's way, because being the nice person I am, I try to please the majority in a stream that isn't about any single one person, but is about what the majority wants, I'm made to feel like I'm trash.

Edit: I'm considering stopping the streams or at least having a hiatus. The whole idea was to hang out and chat with everyone while I draw your characters, but when I have silence until I say "next request" and even people winning a request and then leaving without a word as I start to draw it, it kinda bums me out. I understand folks are busy and are probably doing other stuff as well, which is fine! But I was doing them as more of a social thing, not just handing out free art while I sit and listen to my music on my own. So I mean, if people aren't really interested, I won't worry about it. I understand folks who couldn't make it! It's not the most convenient timing. So don't worry XD
I may indeed just focus on drawing for myself for a while (other than possible commissions and such)

HEY GUYS!!! I have been a quiet Marowak over the last week, haven't I? It's been a busy one!

So I'm here with some somewhat bad news for you guys. As of this point I'm officially saying that Requests will be limited to streams until otherwise noted. I've thought hard about it, and have noticed since joining here I've pretty much just been drawing stuff for other people and not really drawing anything for myself. I'm still happy to draw during streams, because that way I can get it all done in one go! (Provided my computer cooperates...)
I'm sorry if this upsets anyone in any way. If you're only here to grab requests (I'm not THAT ignorant XD) then I'm sorry! Feel free to unfollow and such.

With that said though, i haven't ruled out commissions. I've had a few people ask me about them, so it may be something for me to consider.

In regards to the streams, I think I may have figured out what was wrong last time. So I'll try streaming again early next week and see how I go!

So yeah, basically just wanted to give you guys a heads up. Sorry I'm not all that active/responsive right now! There's just a lot going on!

Hey guys! I've been wanting to post a journal regarding this!

I wanna apologise to everyone for a few things such as my inability to respond in a timely manner XD
I think I may have thrown a few people off because I respond to their notes late or not at all. It's not because I'm ignoring you! I tend to read a note and then leave it to respond to later, but then I don't have time or forget to do so. So the best course of action for you guys to take if this happens would be to pester me! If I haven't replied in a day or so, send another one!

Also, I've been asked a few times now about whether I'm gonna stop streaming and open regular requests again or even commissions. Right at this moment the answer is "maybe" but I won't be able to do so until at least next week as I have a busy end to this week ahead of me!
With that said though, I have messed around with my settings in open Broadcast Software and I was thinking about just running a mini stream in an hour or so. It won't be a request stream, just me working on the two requests I didn't get done in the last one thanks to my computer freezing. And if you guys pester me enough I may even turn my mic on 8D Anyone interested?

Also, just to clarify, if anyone wants my NNID or Skype, please note me! I'm starting to remember to log into Skype lately XD
