I got to blow off the sawdust from this page. I haven't posted in some time, but now that I am starting back up again to work on stuff for Anthrocon I figured I'd try to be more internet active. I also am trying my hand at selling on Etsy at Makotofox.etsy.com. check it out if my stuff interest you. I plan to post most of my new pieces on there as I finish them for Anthrocon 2023. Ane as always I am planning to try out new techniques to challenge myself. Let's see how that goes, shall we?

Hello everyone, this is an announcement for a new start for Makoto's Creations. With more help there is more art being made and for more events. Also with new equipment and experiments in possibilities there is new styles and deigns for lamps and frames. Examples of recent works will be posted soon, to include some pieces that were at the Anthrocon Art Show. All the art and design are still done by Makoto Fox and all the wood is still hand made and naturally colored (No paints, dyes, etc used). Every framed piece and every lamp is unique, design aspects are used among many pieces but no two are exactly same. Even our badge frames, hand made out of wood, can also be different just from the natural patterns on the woods used.

But the current big news is that we will have a dealers table at Tiny Paws Convention. So for fans of the work you can come by, browse what we have available and meet the artist himself. Due to some problems in materials we'll not have many lamps for this convention, so if you are interested in a potential lamp do make sure to stop by early. We will have framed art, badge commissions and a selection of smaller items for sale as well. So please stop by and say hello we are always happy to talk, maybe you'll find a piece that would fit just perfectly at home. We will be offering limited commissions as well so if you want something but don't see what you need talk with us and we can see what we can do.

Outside of conventions, there will also be a larger online presence for us. With pages on multiple sights for the art, and potentially coming up will be an etsy shop where works will be available throughout the year for purchase. This page will continue to be the primary page though, so all example works, news of upcoming events and the like will be up here. So keep your eyes open for more info, art, and commission information coming soon. If you have any questions or comments please leave a comment or send a note.
