Posted 2 years agoHello all, some big news today!
As many of you know we moved right out into the country in order to go full time with out art. So far it has been a wonderful experience but it has been met with some very large challenges. First and foremost, our internet is dreadful. We will need to switch to StarLink in order to run streams but the costs for upgrading to this are huge and we are already only just making ends meet. With only just making ends meet, we are also not able to save for our future or for emergencies, should they arise, nor can we hope to replace hardware as it becomes necessary. With all of this in mind, we have decided to push forwards and create our very own Patreon page, in hopes that it will supplement our income enough that we may continue our art business moving forwards.
I want to make it very clear that almost no changes have been made to what we have always offered for free, via our public discord and main galleries. We will not be walling commission slots or standard art content behind this platform. Those who join our discord will continue to receive early announcement of commissions opening and participation in paid sketch streams.
That said, the support is greatly needed and deeply appreciated so we will be providing ADDITIONAL content for all those who are able to support us on Patreon. This will come in the form of early previews of our work and WIPs, voting and participation of art that is non-commissioned (fan art etc), access to content we would never usually provide such as concept work, experimental work and sketches etc of a personal nature, high resolution files, wallpapers, raffles for free headshots and coloured sketches and more!

We have some news regarding our commissions.
Firstly, we will be looking to open much more regularly. Gaia recently quit her full time work and thus will be able to put more time/effort into our art whilst she considers how to move forwards in the future. You should expect to see more activity coming from us soon.
Secondly, we have undergone a commission structure change. We now charge more flat-price commissions instead of having a base price with lots of things to add on top. The pricing works out to be roughly the same as before for most characters. You can now find our commission info in the commissions tab of FA. This will include new commission types (such as ref sheets) that we have generally not done before.
APRIL COMMISSIONS: We will be opening for commissions in the next couple of days so please, keep your eye out. Please feel free to come to us if you have any questions or would like a quote in the meantime but bear in mind that we cannot hold slots in advance. Note however that badge commissions are actually open at present, for info on badge commissions see Gaia's journal here https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/10170060/

Updating my Gallery

I've been pretty bad at keeping up with submissions for... a while. thankfully gaia posts everything on her pages, but I will be making an effort this week to catch my gallery back up. so there will be quite alot of submissions from me over the next week or so while that happens.

Thanks for all the comments, watches and support, it is greatly appreciated.
Some may have noticed the new Commission Price List uploaded today.
There are a few small changes but mostly its to help break down the costing for illustrations which are becoming our main source of work at the moment.
Its important to remember that the pricing of illustrations can be difficult to nail down but we will always quote and offer a breakdown of the pricing.
Dont forget Telegram Stickers are now available! Its listed in the notes.
We are reluctant to take on ref sheets due to the challenges they provide but please feel free to inquire if you are particularly interested.

Firstly, apologies for the wait, we had hoped to open publicly in December but didn't get around to it.
We are however open for business now.
We are working on 2 pieces at the moment and, in the meantime, will open to commission requests.

Posted 6 years agoThanks to all our watchers, new and old and those who are lining up to commission us, our turn-over is getting much faster and we're taking on and completing commissions/work faster then ever before! We are in a period of real growth both as artists but also spreading our name and work. It is our watchers and commissioners that make this happen so once again. Thanks for all your support!

Here is an update on whats going on!
Commissions!
Firstly, We were all booked up for January and February pretty quickly and have not been taking new slots on our waiting list/queue for some time. We expect to re-open slots for 'March Commissions' in around the first week of February (so a week or two from now). For those unfamiliar with the process but interested in commissioning us, we have a waiting list that spans about a month (maximum two months) from the current date. Once you have applied for and secured a slot, you are guaranteed a commission within that month. It is not always first come first serve, we sometimes switch commission slots around to optimize our workflow. We do NOT take payment until we are about to start (or have begun sketching) your commission. You can view our commission queue at any time using the links on out profile pages (and listed at the bottom of this journal).

So it's been an eventful few months. I got Married to the Lovely, we went to Japan on honeymoon for a few weeks and then we came home and got a puppy. I haven't checked in much since then because I only just remembered which email I had signed up to FA with to change my password over after the hacking fiasco.
I'm looking at clearing any outstanding commissions over the next week and then Opening full commissions. I'll post my rates soon so those interested can start setting money aside.
