Posted 10 months agoSo since 23/11/2024, I have been drawing daily and uploading them to BlueSky since 01/12/2024.
They aren't furry specific, and to be honest, I've not had the energy to post to multiple places, so I've not posted them here.
Not sure what I wanted to say, other than "Hi again" and watch this space, I suppose?

Warhammer talk
Posted 4 years agoHad this in my head a while, feel free to ignore.
So there is a debate going about online for female space marines, people arguing there should be female space marines and GW should go back and change the lore to make it so there has always been female space marines.
In my opinion, GW shouldn't, but I would like to explain why. Mainly the Emperor (Big E) is a bit of a bastard and not in touch with emotions at all. He wanted to make something which would walk besides mankind and guide them through the darkness of the unknown. But if he made a new species all together, whats to stop them from turning on humans? To stop space marines from turning on humanity, he made them so they had to be made out of humans. That way they couldn't wipe out humans without dooming themselves.
So, Cawl, who is seen often stealing other's work, comes across an earlier type of space marine designed by Big E, one where the gender didn't matter as they were grown in vats. The space marines were closer to the Primarchs than current space marines and as such were bigger, stronger, more resilient. He names them Primaris marines and says he made them, not understanding why Big E didn't settle on this design.
So I would prefer canonical firstborn space marines are male only while Primaris can be any gender.
I love this as it it fits current lore easily, parodies "old boys only" clubs which are dying out (just like how firstborn are being phased out) and allows female space marines.
I am not saying you can't have female firstborns, I love any kind of conversion work and I love custom chapters and lore, I just think GW missed an opportunity to make Space marines gender neutral while not upsetting those who love the current lore.

Asterion Moloc
Posted 7 years agoSo I recently have started to collect Minotaurs in 40k.
I was not aware Asterion Moloc is no longer for sale. Thankfully, my brother had bought Moloc recently for a conversion to use the black spear and cape on another model, he has given me the rest of Moloc as he can't really use Moloc otherwise.
I am looking for a suitable replacement weapon for the Black Spear... big task as the spear is unique.
Does anyone have any ideas for a suitable replacement weapon? My brother suggested a nemesis force sword, which does look pretty good but I was thinking of something more... unique? I do want the weapon to be from GW as me and my brother will most likely playing in store, but I am happy to convert a weapon out of several others if you can find a picture.
If you know someone who collects warhammer and might have an idea, please let them know about this!

Well, update time... I upgraded my laser engraver, my old one is on long term loan to my brother for cutting out bases, however I think it would be quicker to let him cut out bases with the new one.
The new laser engraver is a 40w laser (need to confirm, they may have sent me a more powerful one as they were on limited stock of the 40w one) instead of the 3w one I had before.
I do plan to still use it for warhammer, but also planning on doing other cool stuff with too!

8. "fingerless gloves" preferably black wool/polyester ones

10. For Tifa to have a great Christmas

Fund Raising - Update
Posted 15 years agoOne of Tifa's friends, 
cwaukene, is sending her one of his spare tablets (He has more than one?!) so there is no need to raise money.
However I would like to raise money for another reason, to buy Tifa and myself a present I have been planning to buy when I get the money.
As such I shall still be taking commissions like the two below and if you would like something "off menu" then send me a note with what you would like and how much you would like to pay (serious requests and prices only please)
