I kinda forgot to send this out on Christmas and have otherwise been busy with my new temporary job, soooo, late Merry Christmas? I hope the holidays went well and will continue to be cheery and joyful for everyone!

Quite a lot has happened this year. Stressful times for many people, I graduated college, I made Aerotorius my own and lasting name for myself, made tons of new friends, went to my first convention, and on and on... I'm grateful for everything and happy to have everyone that's here for me and for allowing me to return the favor. Thanks to anyone who has also taken a look at my little gallery and decided to follow, even though I haven't been the most active lately, it means a lot more than you know.

Remember, be kind and take some time to care for yourself. We've all been through a lot. Merry (late) Christmas and happy New Year!

Merr Chrimis to the two people who follow me

Here's a quick little journal post, again I know probably no one will read it, but whatever.

I had stopped drawing for a few years because I didn't really have much motivation to do so. However, I've recently begun turning my life around and have found much 'positive energy', or whatever the heck you want to call it, and motivation to do many things including going to the gym and drawing again. This is all on top of my current studies.

I've borrowed an iPad from my university's library because the pen tablet I had before wasn't really that great. All I can say is WOW I didn't realize how great the Apple Pencil + iPad is, or at least compared to my dinky old stylus tablet. I tried some warmup sketches to get used to things again and I think I'm in a place to start producing more drawings again - ones that I'm even confident in posting!

I started working on a profile picture but I don't know when it'll be finished. I might use the line art version of it while I continue to work on it. I've also started working on a detailed sketch for a friend of mine as a gift! Progress of that will be going into my sketches here on FA. I may also go through my old pencil and paper sketches, scan those, and upload them but it depends. Some are pretty wonky, and others personal. There's only a few I can think of off the top of my head that I'd be willing to upload.

I guess that's all I really have to say for now.

I know no one will read this but whatever. I recently got my first tablet, woo! It's a hand-me-down Wacom Intuos from my sister. She got a new one with a built in display (not exactly sure what model though) so she kindly donated this one to me. However, I haven't really had much of a chance to use it yet as I currently have classes, among other things. Who knows, I may actually post something someday!
