-See how sap is magically transformed into sweet, sticky syrup and smell the fragrant steam rising from simmering kettles
-Learn the secrets of Maple Candy making and taste FREE candy samples
-Enjoy piping hot pancakes smothered in fresh maple syrup outdoors under our pavilion nestled in the woods
-Slide, climb, jump and run in the Play Barn
-Encounter Mountsberg's resident raptors in live demonstrations in the Raptor Centre's bird of prey shows at 11am, noon, 1pm, 2pm & 3pm (free i believe)
-View bison, eagles, hawks and owls along the Wildlife Walkway
-Guided horse drawn wagon rides through the sugar bush! $3.00/adult, $2.00/child

Please note this is NOT a fursuit event, You are welcome to wear ears / tails / paws though. Please remember you are going through the muddy woods so don't wear foot paws, wear boots.
Car Pooling!! It will be very important to Car Pool to this meet, I have room for 3 people, I can pick people up at Square One if the want a ride from me, I will be leaving there at 10:15, please text me to arrange for a ride there and back, thanks. Anyone else whom has room in their vehicle please post where you can arrange to pick someone up so that more people may attend. thank you.
After the Meet, there will be another event to follow for those whom wish to come, details will be in a separate event.

TORONTO EVENT! - Fur Walk + Movie (Rise of the Guardians)
Posted 13 years agoYep Time to start my famous Toronto Fur Walks again!
Where: Union Station (by the red flashing red ball / across from the old Harvey's)
When: Saturday Nov 24, 2012 @ 11AM (Depart at 11:30 AM)
Costs;
Movie: $9.50
Food: depends :P
We will walk around the streets of Toronto (fursuits are welcome) for a bit (visit Nathan Phillips/ Dundas Square/ Others....???) then have head to the Rainbow Cinemas theater (80 Front Street East, Toronto, ON, Canada, M5E1C4) for some snacks and watch the movie Rise of the Guardians!
After the movie who knows, foods?? Return Home?? Walk Around??

- $21 / person for 20 people or more
-Lockers $5 (+$5 deposit you get back when return key)
-Innertube for tube rides $8 for single rider tube / $12 for double rider tube
-Drive in $12
What to bring;
-Proper bathing suit as defined by WWK (Swimwear with metal rivets, buttons, buckles, snaps, zippers or sharp objects will not be permitted on the slides as it damages the rides and could potentially injure riders. We do not consider undergarments as swim wear and will not be permitted.) ALSO (Proper bathing suit attire is required. A bathing suit is defined as having a lining; underwear/shorts are not acceptable.)
-Sunscreen
-Towel
-Lawn chairs for Movie
-Bug repellent
-Picnic dinner
-Anything else you might need for a event that is outdoor all day / evening
Details:
We will start off the day with a fun day of swimming and water slide fun.
Water attractions;
-Wave pool
-Lazy river
-water slides
-etc....
There is also lots of land attractions here including;
-What a Ball - your put in a giant hamster ball and can walk around on the water!! (I am so doing this)
-Vollyball
-Rockclimbing
-2 18 hole mini golf courses
After were all done in the water we can head out and sit under some shade and have some foods (best to bring something as WWK charges A LOT for food)
If there is some time we can hang out and chat or do some land events before the movie.
Then it is drive in movie time
Rules;

• Pets
• Alcohol
• Radios or Tape Decks
• Non-government approved floatation devices.
• Skate boards, roller skates, etc.
• Snorkels, fins, masks, etc.
• Any kind of illegal substance

Posted 13 years agoSigh it has been a week since I registered for FE, it feels like it was a month ago. FE 2013 can't come soon enough :(
