I juuuust got a new job at Pizza Hut... they skipped the interview and tossed me right in the back. The GM called it trial by fire... I called it a godsend. I dont have to wait too long for money to start coming on on the regular.

Now I know this means a permanent slowdown on commissions but it also means lower prices! Since I wont have to rely on commissions to pay bills anymore, I dont have to charge as much as I do now after the next few weeks pass. This also opens the door to more free stuff, and gives me a little room to make some other things happen that I want to happen. Sespite my ocmputer problems I'm slowly working on your commissions, its takinga lot more time because the computer freezes at random intervals and I have to restart it regularly but I'm doing my best! Waiting on word from Cyberpower to see what they say about a warranty. Before I ship it off though I want all my commissions done first!

Icant this weekend guys =( I'm having some issues with my computer that I'm still trygin to figure out... thought I had it right but same problems arose shortly after "fixing" the issue. Kinda jumped the gun a bit earlier I guess... either way, I wont be able to stream for a fairly long time... I'll have your drawings still but I guess I'm in a bit of a fix until then.

Stream Schedule Pushed to Sunday and Monday due to some technical difficulties with my computer atm... got a lot of cleaning up to do on it and am currently speaking with a couple of friends to figure out the source of my problem.

Figured some of you might wanna know, 6 PM to midnight EST Sat and Sun are gonna be stream nights. Plan to work on inks and colors for 3 pieces currently marked "In Progress" on Trello. Some of you are probably wondering why I've slowed down production and basically it just has to do with me refocusing on school as classes are moving along once more. Also I'm trying much harder to find myself another job to make steady income so that I can lower prices to where I think they might be most beneficial to you guys.

Hey guys, just wanted to let you all know in case you were htinking of buying a commission or anything, you maaaay wanna hold off for just a bit. I've got a couple things planned for June:

1. Price Reductions - can't say by how much but, I get a lot of comments about things not being affordable, and my payment plan options are being practically ignored in light of that. I feel I'll have to reduce rates, at least for now, and eat the loss. I'm going to keep the no strings plan active, however, for those of you who do utilize this option, but there will be a required minimum payment There's also the fact that I'm still a fairly up and coming artist and while considering pricing I failed to factor this in to an adequate degree, possibly skewed by the knowledge that I've been drawing on and off since I was 6 or 7 years old, though it was still in consideration when I did pricing the first time round.

2. Summer Specials - Starting June I'm doing Reduced price Bikini and Trunks partial premades for summer icons. After this current batch of commissions is done you'll be getting another journal for slots for these that I'll be working on over the course of June, so keep an eye out. If I have time before it starts I might throw Nuaha in a bikini to kick things off, and perhaps one of my adopted characters that I havent had time to draw much.

For those of you still waiting on commissions I apologize for the wait, I'm currently playing catch up with them, having been swamped with school projects at the end of last month. Be certain that your work is coming and will be done before the end of the month, until then I'm asking you to bare with me. I'm being notified that individuals are wondering when work is going to begin on their pieces, and basically I'm going to try and at least start them all this week.

You guys' patience is greatly appreciated.

Also  dauxycheeks is holding a contest that I'm quite interested in. I was thinking of starting on my entry in conjunction with owed works, this might slow down production by a little bit but as I said, I'm planning on doing everything at once. I'm wanting to get better at what I do, and I think through repetition and constant practice I'll get there and start being able to pump out images of the same quality as my Sally Wallpaper that I released yesterday on a regular basis. (More things like that to come, time allowing.)

I'm also doing my best to get a firm grasp on the properties of anatomy and various other subjects with some help from  Malkanis who seems to have an eye for that sort of thing.

My first goal is to be able to release art on a regular basis rather than sporadically like I have been, and have something to present you fine furs every day. A bigger goal is to improve constantly, so that I can put out works that rival those of  Kabier  Fisk and  Sif in quality. The bar as you might be able to tell has been set pretty high. For all you artists watching me, I'd love to grow with you and collaborate, so dont be afraid to message me with questions if you're curious as to how I do things, and any advice you might be willing to give is most welcome.

Anyway, thanks again for you guys and your support... even you silent watchers... and if you have any ideas regarding how I might improve leave the comments here, or send me a note if you think its a more private matter. Welp one of my siblings is terrible at managing her money and therefore is going to be coming up short on the car payment... so all my efforts to keep things in the positive were pretty much for nothing. Sometimes I dont know why I even try anymore...

Mostly cause of the project's part 2 (I still have to finish part one and turn it in, the teacher offered the class an extension because the instructions and assignment scales were so cursedly jumbled and didnt make sense.

For those of you who do happen to have pending commissions, I'm writing this journal mostly for you guys. Basically the next couple weeks will be dedicated to (mostly) catching up on college work and finding jobs. This might mean delays in April commission work, but for the sake of you guys I hope not. The project doesnt seem to look too difficult but I havent read over it in its entirety just yet, so that remains to be seen.

Regardless, expect a slow down in activity but hope that it doesnt end up that way. (Hopefully part one of this project's a breeze and it doesnt take me too long to do it.)

So I've been thinking of offering payment plans for my regular commissions. I'm often times seeing people showing concerns about not being able to afford work and I've been really wanting to provide a solution for those individuals, without being concerned whether or not unscrupulous individuals would try to take advantage of it. I'm prepared to deal with it happening but I want to minimize it's impact.

I'm also going to accept the risk of doing these for some of my YCH auctions. This is will happen at the discretion of the artist and will be stated in the YCH terms at the start of each auction.

Payment Plan ToS:

Commissioners have the option to pay for their work in multiple installments determined by a percentage of the total price of work owed, if the price of the image is above or equal to $20 total. The artist will then complete the work proportional to the amount paid in accordance with the most current price sheet requirements. ((In other words... if you purchased a one-char full color/ soft shade at $55 and handed over, say $20 in cash as initial payment, then I would start on the image and stop once line-art for one character ($20 dollar value) is complete, until I receive additional installments.)) This payment plan will work similar to the PWYW options many artists offer, typically in streams, where you receive art based on the amount you've offered the artist. The commissioner will receive the completed image once payment is made in full. There is no time limit to make payments, all work will be saved until payment is either made in full or canceled.

Here's the catch:
If you're currently paying off an image, you may have to either complete payments for said image or send the artist a note stating clearly that you wish to cancel to the next threshold at artists discretion. (In other words, if you bought a $55 full color/ soft shade and $35 is paid, yet linework at a value of $20 is all that has been completed, you may cancel and will receive a refund of $15, which is the difference between amount of work owed, and the amount of work completed.)

Until payment is made in full for the payment plan option image, or canceled in the way stated above, the artist reserves the right to deny the commissioner any further purchases at their discretion. (This will be based on trust. Regular commissioners may occasionally be granted the option of increasing their balance due for another image before the previous balance is paid in full.)



Terms of Service

1. Artist reserves the right to deny commission offers:

Though I most likely wont deny anyone my business, there may come a time where I might need to based on commissioner history and habits. Denial will offer a full explanation as to WHY you have been denied via a note (never in comments or shouts!), and I will be open to negotiate provided the terms of service continue to be followed.

Typically denials will be based on, but is not limited to the following:

-Content - the artist may not always enjoy replicating certain scenarios and may therefore deny a commission based on this condition.
-Commissioner Behavior - Rudeness is not something the artist tolerates... AT ALL. Do your best to conduct business politely and professionally, and the artist will do the same.
-Workload - Typically the artist does, and at the same time does not want this to happen but occasionally there may be a large number of people wishing for art at the same time, or life just happens, and they cannot keep up with the demand. If this becomes the case commissions usually close after slots are filled so that the artist can keep up.
-Commissioner History- If the artist deems a commissioner untrustworthy, it is typically due to personal past experience with said person and NOT ALWAYS because of sites like Artists Beware, unless the artist receives sufficient motivation to do research based on information about extreme cases.

2. Regarding Professionalism:

I want to try to remain as professional as possible. Note that that doesnt mean I do not want to build friendships through business. What it does mean however is that I prefer rude comments and snappy or snide remarks be left unsaid or replaced with something more polite. The quickest way to end up on a blacklist is to simply be excessively rude. Do so at your own peril. I also made this section to promise to my customers that I will do my best to remain polite and composed throughout our conversations and vocal transactions. Do expect informal banter if you're a friend of mine however!

3.Haggling:

A lot of people disagree with this practice, but for the benefit of the customers... the artist will haggle prices to an extent... this option is open to anyone who pays for a commission in full, but is not available for the payment plan option, so keep this in mind.
On the condition that the commissioner pays for a commission up front rather than use a payment plan, the artist will most likely be open to haggling the price... BUT the final price is at the sole discretion of the artist. Please keep this in mind when attempting to haggle. It is advised to haggle within reason. The artist will not attempt to sell to you above the listed price, unless it is the buyer's final offer.

5. Copyrights for Profit

The artist will refuse a commission that contains copyrighted characters within the commissioner-given scenario. This includes but is not limited to characters from My Little Pony, Sonic the Hedgehog Games and Comics both, Pokemon, Digimon, etc. However, original characters created in the same style as characters from those series may be replicated.

If any copyrighted characters do appear in artwork, it will be properly labeled as fan art and will not have been paid for by any third parties unless permission is expressly given by the official owners of all characters replicated. In such cases that permission is clearly given to the artist, the piece will be labeled as a commission as normal.

Proper character credit will always be given in light of all scenarios.

6. Changes to ToS

Any changes to the ToS will be made with or without prior notice. It is up to the commissioner to remain aware of them. HOWEVER the artist WILL post a journal labeled "ToS Changes" followed by a date in "mm/dd/yyyy" format, to assist readers and customers in keeping up with the current Terms of Service. Changes made will be listed at the top of the journal and summarized, followed by the complete Terms of Service beneath, with those changes applied.

7. Refunds

To keep things as simple as possible, refunds will be offered per request for non-completed work, no questions asked. Details regarding the payment plan refunds can be read in the "Payment Plan ToS" section above.

8. Regarding Changes to Completed Work

Before completing artwork the artist will send each commissioner and other parties of interest to the commissioner a link to the image, showing their progress so far before the coloring process and before the shading process, to gauge feedback and make changes. Here are some guidelines to avoid additional charges.

-Changes to Poses: will be free if requested after the refining sketches and before coloring begins, after which, a charge may be applied depending upon the complexity of the change. This will also include props and background elements that characters are interacting with that depend on the pose. (These changes can get expensive, so be careful!)
-Changes to Colors on Characters: will be free up until after the coloring process is finished and the shading process has already begun, after which, a charge may be applied depending upon the complexity of the change. (This charge is fairly minimal.)
-Changes to Color Schemes and Shading: for objects and such that aren't being interacted with by the character within the image, and shading, there will be no charge for changes within reason.
-Changes to other Background Elements: such as the addition of objects and props will not be charged before the refined sketch process ends and the coloring process begins, after which, a charge may be applied depending upon the complexity of the change.
