So, I see a lot of characters for sale. I think it's perfectly fine to sell them, but there's one point i just nearly hate. I extremely dislike when an artist charges something like $20, $45, or even $60 for just the character.

Now if there's Art with it, okay, i can see that costing more, but come on. any one character should never cost more than $10 unless they are being custom ordered. If I am buying a character, that you designed with no imput from me, why should I have to pay more for it?

Now, this is my opinion of course, and I would never pay more than $10 for just a character. as stated above, art included, I would pay more for them, but still, they should be kept reasonable.

[Edit] Something else I was just reminded of, Auctions. those are prices in the end set by the people, I have nothing against those, after all, you want to spend all your money, go for it

So i have noticed that somehow some artists get away with extortionate prices.

Now I watch many different artist, you can see that on my watch list. Some very good artists on there sell for less than i feel they should. But when an artist, no matter how good, sells 3 SKETCHES for $65 each?! I will complain about that. What the hell artists? I know that some can't make enough for rent with prices lower than they have now, but $65 for a sketch? No, that is just way to f-ing much to charge people. I am sure as hell not going to commission people that try to do that crap

So, a week or so ago, I was talking with a friend. after talking for a bit they told me that I was fun to talk to, and that I am understanding, things like that. Of course, im paraphrasing but not the point. They also felt that I should be popular because of it. I replied that people on FA are not popular because of their personality, but their art. Well, this got me thinking and I wanted to see what the masses, small as it is for me, think on this idea:

Can you be a popular fur, for simply being a person that is there for others, or because of the type of person you are?

Okay, so here is my idea. this would be a general rated picture so, most artists are good there. the thing is it would be this character, Draco: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8157251/ Now here's the tricky part. my idea is that it would be a humanoid form wearing armor that looked like Draco. The colors and what not would be the same, and the idea is that Draco has multiple forms sort of thing. the image just would show off his humanoid form in armor with wings and a weapon or two.

Anyone know or could possibly suggest an artist that would do this?

I like how I saw someone was using a friend's sona on facebook for an event, thus for themselves and their bf. When i ask them not to an "artist" says, oh, you're being a dumb ass. dip shit, it's fucking copy right infringmet to use someone's sona and the art as your own without permission! how stupid of an artist are you to say, oh, if you can copy and paste it, it isn't stealing. so i can go to your page, copy and paste all your shit and not say anything about it and it's legal? can someone tell me where that makes sense?
