Posted 17 years agoOk, on my last journal, a bit of clarification is probably needed. It would seem that site is a blogspot for a specific presidential campaign. I however had difficulty discerning that.
The Furries bit is linked to this url:

I've found a LOT of way-rightist stuff there, but to give it it's fair shot I plan to read through it a lot more over the next few days.

Posted 17 years agoHuh, this was probably the most horrifyingly funny thing I've seen in years.

He even has a bit on "The Furry Problem." Not sure if anyone has posted on this guy yet, but I suggest you take a look. I nothing else, check it out for a reason to laugh. People like this sicken me to no extent and honestly make me worry for the fate of the Human race.
The fact that people like this exist and are spreading their ideas honestly scares and angers me. I feel that you are entitled to your opinions, don't get me wrong, but I also feel that you're entitled to your opinions when you've done proper research. What constitutes "proper" varies, but slinging propaganda over a lifestyle you know slim to none about is not acceptable. We as a society I feel should be fighting this kind of radicalism fang and claw. Not to change their opinions, that's not gonna happen, but to help people see that these kinds of unfounded opinions are not welcome. Go do some research, and then we'll talk.
Just thought I'd try to spread the word. We (and Furry/Anthro folks especially, considering all the crap that flies about us) need to stop letting people like these go unchallenged. And I'm not talking about Christian vs. whatever, or Democans and Republicrats (a joke, man, a joke...), I'm talking life in general. Hell, I challenge my own opinions and beliefs on a daily basis just to make sure of what I think and why. I think it has done me a lot of good over the course of my life. "Just because" is not an acceptable answer to me. Personally, I think you should try doing the same. We all should. Next time someone makes you angry, ask yourself why. Next time you find that you dislike something, ask yourself why. I don't mean "I'm mad at that guy. Why? He cut me off in traffic!" I'm talking about "Why am I mad that he cut me off?" We're all guilty of taking ourselves a bit too seriously. Seriously. Take a minute when an instinctual emotional response (anger, hate, love, happiness, jealousy, anything really) hits, and ask yourself why.
You'll learn a lot. At least I did.

Posted 18 years agoOk, for anyone who cares, I've been away from the internets for a good LONG while now, been able to keep up with e-mail and such but little else.
Working on my art style and trying to improve before I post anything else.
Got some scripts written out for my comic ideas and a few one-shots involving my fursona and a friend of his.
Hopefully it should be priceless. I find them funny at least.
So yeah, hopefully I should be able to get back to drawing and activity soon, but for now it looks like I shall not.
Meh, it happens. Life sucks, get a helmet.
Either way, I should have new stuff ready to post soon enough, I'll just have to find a scanner...

Posted 18 years agoOk, been away for a while, kinda homeless and jobless for a few days and still getting back on my feet. Got a house, but still working on a job. But I did, however keep up my drawing practice and I think I'm getting better.
I might even manage a page or so of comic soon. Provided I can find a scanner and steady internets.
Either way, I hope to have something up soon, lest my head-people kill me with ideas.
If not, I'm hoping I'll have some filler bits and an updated fursona pic as mine is now a bit outdated.
Hair dye is a wonderful thing. : )
'Til then, good luck and happy landings furaffinity.

I'm finally getting concept art for comic characters to flow through my hands, which is difficult for me to do sometimes.
I should have one for Jak posted later today.
Only problem with me trying to force myself to think creatively is that I take characters I've established for a certain story and put them in completely new settings...
Like the character Jak into a medieval world in place of another character for another comic I had running for a few frames.
I do hate my brain sometimes, but it's always interesting for me to see the things it produces, even if they're WAY out of place at the time.

Comic Plans
Posted 18 years agoWell, I've got an idea for a comic running through my head. I've shared most of the plans I've laid out for this idea with Suicide_Furs and RetroSilver, and they seem to think the idea doesn't suck...
Well, I thought I'd lay the idea on a wider market and see what people thought. Not that there are many people who'd probably catch this, but it's the thought that counts, damnit.
The main character is a wolfboy by the name of Jak. He lives in a house his parents left him when they died, which he is using as a sort of rent-a-room setup to pay for his college tuition. Now, Jak is kinda strange for a wolf. He' not very social and tends to be very much the goth without the extravagant dress style - Jak would rather not stick out that much, causes too much trouble. This makes for what I think will be an interesting dynamic when a catgirl (Kally) moves in. If you haven't noticed, I'm fond of obscure names. I think there's more to a name than simple designation.
Anywho, Kally is very much the social butterfly (Pardon the term, you'll see why later). She's a typical college socialite: fashion, parties, boys, and maintaining a 3.0+ GPA. Kally and Jak get along well enough not to kill eachother, dispite the fact that every time she tries to get him to be social he wanders off to his room.
Eventually, he ends up in a house full of girls of varying sorts, including Penrose (my bunny with SERIOUS masochism issues that I've posted a pic of, though I'm gonna redesign forthe comic), Vira (a butterfly, hence the "pardon the term" earlier, who's a mad scientist/girl genius), and Emmy (Short for Emily. She's a hyper-spastic squirrel, but aren't they all?).
Great odds for him, right? Hehehe, yeah, with the hijinx going on in this house, between dimensional portals in the basement and exploding ramen in the kitchen, no such luck. Not to mention a suprise detail (which if you haven't figured out by now I'm going to be suprised, not really but no matter) that complicates matters even further.
Anyway, feedback or suggestions for a beginner comic artist-ish are always welcome. Once I get this thing rolling it'll be lots of fun to see how they interact and what becomes of the characters. But yeah, here's hoping this doesn't suck, and I hope to actually draw this comic out like so many failed attempts before date...
Here's hoping,
Malkior

And so I did...

Not sure what to say on the first post, was never good at the new-arrival thing.
I suppose I should simply hope that this keeps up my want to learn to better translate my brain-musings to page, no matter the format.
Well, wish me luck, because I think I'm gonna need it...
