I want to go to Anku's Hawaiian party thing but I am not really a party person so that will probably be it. xD

Other than that, some of you may have heard I got punched in the head really hard in the head while in suit (Chai) Sunday night around 11:50 pm. I am okay, my suit is okay (just got a little tooth chip/scratch I think I can possibly buff out??), I just sort of have a bit of a bruise in my head (in my hair, lol.)
The Marriott didn't have any cameras pointed where I was and it seems neither did the SJ convention center unfortunately so they haven't caught the people who did it. From now on I will neverrrr go out without a handler. I was literally outside for 1 minute when this happened but apparently that was long enough to be assaulted for... no reason. For those that didn't hear the full story, I'll try and summarize:
I was walking from the front doors of the con center to the Marriott (I had just been over at the Hilton looking for a friend who was just getting into suit too.) I was about 6 feet from walking in the side door of the Marriott and a man ran up with a flashlight in my face (so I couldn't see his face) and a cell phone up filming with a young woman. They were both like "Oh wow cute kitty!" So I did my normal Chai kitty stuff I do. At first I thought they were some people from FC. Then the man punched me really hard in the head and yelled "SmackCam!!!". I was in immense pain and leaned over. I didn't know what to do. The woman was like "What did you do to the furry?!?!". I yelled something stupid about how it hurt really bad and my head was resin (like any... normal.. person would understand why that made it worse.. phhh.. such a nerdy furry response) and the man, after realizing he had hurt me just bolted. As soon as the woman with him realized he had left, she ran after him. I was in so much pain I was kind of dizzy and I couldn't stop crying so I went inside and sat on some couch for a while and then went up to my room. It really shook me so it took a while to recover.. before I felt comfortable reporting everything.
Anyway, I didn't let it dent my con experience too much but obviously I don't really look at everyone outside the con as being.. too -friendly- anymore. The crazy thing is I NEVER DO THAT.. go out alone??? Hah.. the one time I do.. guh. BE CAREFUL, MY FRIENDS!
My awesome friends and fiance were so awesome and comforting though. The staff was on top of things immediately! And we're still trying to see if we can hunt down the #smackcam video. (Checking Youtube, Instagram, Twitter, Vine, etc.) but I have a feeling they didn't post it when they realized they had literally assaulted me.. I dunno. Looking through those videos is AWFUL though. That is pretty much the WORST video meme I have ever heard of. guh.
SO YEAH, I AM OKAY. THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR BEING AWESOME. LOTS OF LOVE TO FRIENDS!!!

Posted 11 years agoI shouldn't have to say this but I have been getting a lot of inquiries lately from people in notes on here, in my e-mail, on my art account.... My suits are not for sale. NOT for sale.
They all mean a ton to me. The only two that weren't 100% designed by me (and the makers who created them adding their own flair) are or have both been customized to be my designs (Basil's body, hands, feet, and tail were my additions to him; and Tea is in process of her "transformation".) I love my characters and I am happy I can own and keep them. If I ran out of space, I would buy a storage unit and put OTHER THINGS in there first over them! haha. I don't ever plan on selling any of my current suits in the future and if I did, I would probably sell them to close friends of mine because the characters themselves would need to "stay in the family" for me. x3 The one suit I did sell (Pierah), I sold to a friend. :3

I am a huge Sherlock Holmes fan, and I actually already have a Sherlock Holmes costume for Basil (bought it before I even received him in the mail a couple years ago actually!) He has a pipe, deerstalker hat, GIANT MAGNIFYING GLASS, and a cape. AHHH IT'S GONNA BE SO FUN.

I think I am going to do Friday at 4:30 pm again unless someone has reason to have it at another time. There seems to be panels running throughout the duration of the con that could possibly steal people away from me! haha
