Posted 9 years agoIts me again. I gotta admit after the last time I thought I'd be okay but I ended up getting hit with another bad case of depression and anxiety after life hit me again with the passing of someone in my family and it sorta just piled up.
I hope you guys can forgive me for my lack of communication and for disappearing. I want to come back but I was scared and worried and full of anxiety of things I thought would happen.
But Im here and I vow to start posting and talking again. I'm going to reply to my notes which have piled up as well- but thank you for your patience and I hope you can forgive me for how I just disappeared like that. I really missed everyone here and I need to learn to stop hiding when Im feeling sad or hurt or depressed. Im receiving help now and just. thank you for letting me open up to you all.

Hello Depression my old friend
Posted 9 years agoHi everyone, I'm really sorry for my lack of responses and messages. I got hit really hard with a depression slump and it was hard for me to push back against it.
Thanks to all my friends and supporters with helping me, its been hard- my sleeping has taken over and its hard to get out of bed, Im working on getting better but its sorta hard to reply to messages with "sorry I was away I was feeling numb" y'know? its no excuse though and Im working on my commissions I owe! I love drawing and it makes me happy its just been hard to get the ball rolling
honestly I'll probably delete this later but I just needed to say it. Thank you everyone.

Posted 9 years agoHey everyone ! The moving is going ok, between packing I've been doodling characters to de-stress. Everything is a little chaotic especially moving the heavy furniture and more fragile things.

Posted 10 years agoHey there! In an effort to be more organized and professional I've created a trello and a google calendar showing my commission que along with the day's I'll be working on commissions or streaming!

They'll become even more organized in the future so any tips would be appreciated on how to properly be organized! Please mind that I'm still a design student so things maybe be shifted or moved accordingly due to school or even life, but with this calendar it'll be able to keep track of how far something is pushed back or if it's finished early!
Ques - The images in the queue's are near completion and just have some final work to be done to it. I plan on having this que cleared out by Monday hopefully! :cheers:
I have 2 other trellos- centered around larger commissions such as my buddy lightbinger and for trades regarding the hoopas! But they are not public since they are more for my benefit than anything else :)

Posted 10 years agoThanks to all my friends and folks just supporting me, man it means the world to me. Gone through some rough patches but its getting better- feels like for a long time it's just been one long rough patch but I'm optimistic for 2016. I have resolutions hoping to fulfill haha.
I'm looking for music again to listen to. I love pop, mash ups especially :]
Also I'm looking for extra hooplahs! ! My little cousins want one really bad and unfortunately in Canada we can't get em' apparently? McDonald's here didn't have them!

Posted 10 years agoI'm back- Things have been rough, to be honest my depression and anxiety left me in a very bad slump. I'm receiving help now and am doing much better and will continue to finish up commissions and posting artwork.
Admitting and accepting myself and my inner conflicts was something I was very wary of doing because i still feel embarrassed and shame because of the stigma that mental health has. Anyways- I just want to thank everyone for their support honestly and the fact that I'm able to be open with what was going on makes me feel safe / comfortable, granted its not a conversation i will go into detail with every single person i meet but I really want to let people know why my hiatuses have been so abrupt and random.
I'm happy to be back and thank you all. :')

Posted 10 years agoWell! Fur-eh is over and I had a blast! met a lot of fun and nice people and saw some hilarious and informative panels! Also! I ended up spontaneously getting an art table there! turned out okay! Got a light cold though after the convention, just headache and phlegm- bleh! but i can handle it! lots of tea :)
I'm back at it and working on commissions, my slots are currently full!
But I'll be gone from Thursday to Monday- I'm going up to B.C. with some of my family- my dad just sprung the idea on me so its sorta spontaneous cabin camping sorta deal? not really sure what to expect but there is no internet up there! I'll be taking my computer up there anyways to try and do some work if I can.
Things have been rough and while the convention was a lot of fun Im throughly exhausted from so much socalization!
Thanks to everyone who stopped by my table it was a lot of fun to chat! :D

I try to keep my more emotional downs to myself and if i'm in pain I tend to keep quiet but lots of folks were kind to talk with me and get my spirits lifted and keep me motivated.

Posted 10 years agoHey guys! I've recovered since the hospital and had the sugery to remove my gallbladder and everything went SWIMMINGLY. The majority of my incisions have healed well and i'm making great progess- still can't do any heavy duty physical stuff but otherwise I'm alright!
Also I got locked out of FA- there was a bug and it wouldn't accept my username when I did a password retreival ? I sent the support staff 2 messages but never got back to me. Thankfully today the bug is FINALLY GONE OR FIXED IDK what happened but I was able to set up a new password and viola' i'm here!
I'll be checking my notes now that I am doing pretty dang better! Im still rather fatigue-ish but I'm doing well. Thank you all !
I know I still owe some art out there and I'll be working on that now! I'm using PAINT TOOL SAI NOW. no photoshop since my mac died and im using a temporary HP computer which is fantastic and im happy i have a computer to use and draw on!

News: The tube has been removed and the incision has healed fully- I'm back online and hoping to upload more drawings and be more communicative.
i'll be meeting with my doctor on the 20th and he'll be scheduling surgery in a month (hopefully- Canada's waiting time for surgery isn't the greatest)
Thank you all for the supportive messages and everything- it means so much.
My stamina is low but I'm recovering very well now. Thanks! :')

Haitus - Hospital - important - update:: pictures
Posted 11 years agoHello there- i'm sorry for my lack of communication to notes, messages and other things. Recently the past couple months I've been feeling/getting sick often and my energy has been down. It wasn't until a few weeks back when I realized it was because of an infection to my gallbladder that ended up swelling and pressing into my stomach, liver and lung due to the gallstones that I've had for a year. ( i was admitted to emergency room after not being able to eat for a week and was throwing up constantly.)
Long story short I was admitted to the hospital and my gallbladder has been drained and I am now back home- bound and have home nurses tending to me since I have this narly tube coming out of my stomach now that drains my gallbladder which allows me to eat without throwing up.
Its been really rough and i'm sorry for not updating sooner i just haven't had the energy.
Thankfully the tube is helping me eat and sleep now and hopefully it'll be removed next week if the swelling inside has gone down.
My gallbladder will be removed fully once swelling is down fully and i've recovered from he draining. my surgeon says perhaps in 6-8 weeks I'll have the surgery for it to be removed (i'm looking forward to having this taken out.
I was diagnosed with gallstones a year and a half ago and foolishly didn't get surgery right away because i thought i could handle it with home remedies and just get past it. Which was very dumb of me. Now its infected and honestly i'm just frustrated.
I'm doing a lot better now though (compared to before) and I'll look forward to when i'm fully back up.
Thank you all for your patience- lots of life stuff has happened and your understanding is what keeps me lifted.

My wish is when my gallbladder is finally removed that the doctor will give it to me so i can personally crush it with a hammer for revenge on what it's conflicted on me. angry face.

I spoke with my surgeon and apparently the tube may have slipped out in the past few days- now some blood is draining instead of full bile like it was before- thankfully it's not life threatening or harming. I'm grateful for that but still unsure about how i'll tackle my winter term since during that time I'll most likely have my gallbladder removed during then.

I spoke with my surgeon and apparently the tube may have slipped out in the past few days- now some blood is draining instead of full bile like it was before- thankfully it's not life threatening or harming. Tho it does concern me and I'll be having an ultrasound/xray this week coming up. and hopefully the tube removed if the swelling has gone down enough.
