Posted 12 years agoGiven that this webcomic has been inactive for over half a year, I wanted to at least leave a note to those who may have been looking forward to updates all this time. I know this kind of issue is pretty common with amateur webcomics, so you're probably used to it by now, but since this is important to me, and I like open communication with my audience, I'm going to leave this here:
I intend to start this webcomic back up, and relatively soon. It will start with the next chapter, which I'm going to outline and script before I start drawing. I may finish that before the end of this month, but I'm not going to lock myself down to a set schedule. Doing so has always been counterproductive for me unless someone else sets the schedule for me and it has consequences if it's not followed.
I'm probably going to make some pretty big changes from my initial plan. You won't notice that, since you didn't know what my initial plan was. Just letting you know regardless, to give you an idea of the amount of work this may wind up taking before I start posting again. Once I have things scripted 'til the end of the chapter, though, I'll start working on both the script for the next chapter and the finished pages. I hope to post one every week or two as I did in the past, and having it all scripted out will help keep that a viable option, since what has murdered my productivity on this was simply not knowing where to go next.
So that's the state of affairs on this webcomic. I know some of you really liked it and wanted to see it continue, so this message is for you. For those of you who weren't really familiar with it or just started watching this account around the time of my giant lull...well...welcome, and I hope you enjoy the updates when they do start. I'll try to make the transition from the old stuff to the new stuff easy-ish to follow so you don't necessarily have to reread everything.
ETA for this will probably be mid-January to early February, but don't hold me to that. And hell, maybe it'll be earlier. Hard to say.
