Echo and I have had a real doozy of a couple months. Busy, taking on new obligations, trying to get back into the studio, then I got hit with one of the worst PMDD episodes of my life and NOW we're BOTH dealing with being sick (candida yeast overgrowth + subsequent kick-your-ass die-off). I'm tired.

Just wanted to make an official post about it, because it's not like my usual material aside from the occasional wiggle smoking a joint with her tits out. I will make and share adult art on this account. It will include sexual themes and responsible drug use: mainly mushrooms, marijuana, and LSD. These things play a large part in my life and I would be remiss to not make art about them. Being comfy with sex, especially, has been a Journey for me.

I will always tag them as NSFW and with specific drug tags, so please remember to tweak your personal content moderation accordingly.

YEAH!! My partner Echo and I are going to be at Anthrocon! We are "The Art of Maranda Cromwell & Echo Mary" at T21. I'll also have 2 panels at the art show.

We're flying in from our home in WA and this is the first time we've taken such big steps to attend a con! I'm really excited to see everyone I don't usually get to see at our usual west coast cons. We're still figuring out the finer details of table setup and getting our merch there, haha, but it's going! I have new prints, new lino prints, new originals, and hand printed greeting cards! The expenses are considerable, but I'm hoping since it's such a big con (10k more people than we've ever vended for) we'll do alright! SO EXCITED!!

And Echo is doing a panel on gardening, so if you want to learn about plants, go see that Saturday evening.

Hey there, predominantly digital artists! I have a question for you.
IF YOU WANT TO GET BACK INTO TRADITIONAL ART, what is stopping you? What are your largest roadblocks? I want to hear from you! (I am planning some kind of presentation or something about how to overcome the blocks and help.)
If you're perfectly happy remaining all or mostly digital, skip this. You're good. Continue on your merry way and enjoy yourself. This is for folks who want to get back into trad but don't know how/can't for some reason.

Sheesh! I guess I've been at this a while. Pretty cool to look at the very first posts on my account and compare them to the most recent one tonight. Those who have tagged along for a while get to see my work progress real time! And boy do they seem patient to me. They joined for emotional realism canine art, they stayed for... well it's still emotional canines but much less representational! Har har. Life is funny. Now whenever someone asks me what kind of art I make I'll just say "dogs with feelings".

Hey everyone!
My partner and I are back from Furvana, a wee con up in Ocean Shores, WA, USA. It's our most local con and I love it to death. We had a great time meeting new folks and seeing old buds again. And I'm delighted to report that the Furvana dealer's den was kind to us, and I'm sold out of a ton of print editions and cards! Thanks everyone! I'm going to be ordering more prints, new sticker designs, and making LOTS more printmaking goodies in the future. Up to my eyeballs in work with con prep/holidays... but here are some fun things on the horizon to get excited about!

- the 2022 Tome finale: I plan to photograph, write blurbs about, and share the entirety of it for a digital download, free for Patrons, sometime early next year! The blurbs will explain the techniques, thoughts, and ideas behind the individual pieces. There are 144 pages, and I'm almost done!

- Speaking of early next year, Echo and I will be at Further Confusion in San Jose this January! WHEE

- Paper doll Wiggles will soon be available as kits (so you don’t have to get brads for them and print them yourself)

- I have footage of a sketchbook tour ready for editing and such, will be uploaded to YouTube and clips to TikTok
