Are there people out there who have suits/main OCs that are the opposite/different genders than themselves? I have Alcyone (male), and I'm not sure if there are others who are in the same situation. Thoughts?

So, I've been thinking about this a lot lately, because I'm trying to work on creating a logo/mascot for myself and my art, moving ahead towards being more professional. After all, when going to art college, I might want to have a "brand" to be known for... a character, a logo, a signature. Looking at my own characters that could be used, I have a lot of humans, but not too many of them stick out.

So, I wanted to throw this out there, are people with animal mascots taken seriously? Has anyone gotten by in the industry being represented by something other than themselves?

Idk some opinions or feedback would be nice, I'm just curious about the subject. Has anyone made a brand for themselves on their characters? What do you think?

I'm looking to get one...eventually, if I have time and money for it, and I'm just reaching out for advice on these things:

1. Who did you get it from?
2. What do you use it for?
3. If you had the chance to do it again, would you? Is it worth the cost?
4. What should someone new to the idea know about fursuits?

I'm losing my computer tomorrow so might as well do a stream! Chibi's are up for 5$ during the stream which should be in... *looks at the clock* 9 minutes? 8 minutes? At the beginning of the next hour lol. Or if you just want a commission, they'll be open too! Link will be posted soon!

So I only have the computer I draw on for 3 more weeks, so if you want anything from me it has to be BEFORE or AFTER (when I get a new school computer)

I'm crossing my fingers that I'll get another computer over the summer but it's not certain.

When I get back, I'll be opening 2$ chibi stream commissions whenever possible! It'll probably be weekends, but still :P I'll keep a list running for streaming commissions in case anyone is interested then.
