Welp, this is it.

Don't think that the decision I'm making here is one that I'm making out of brashness and anger. I've been thinking about doing this for over a month. In that month, I've been rewriting this letter over and over and over and over again, stopping and starting, trying to figure out the right way to say what I want to say and how I'm going to say it. So let's hope that I cover it all.

The truth is, by nature, I'm a healer. I care deeply about everyone around me and get attached extremely quickly. That means, when people do things that I dislike (whether they're objectively bad things or not), they can go from tolerable issues to giant, throbbing problems that I need to fix. I want to see the betterment of everyone around me, including myself, because... well. I don't know. It's a major flaw of mine and I hate it.

I don't want you to read 'you're all annoying me so I'm leaving'. It's more like I'm annoying me. I can't handle the amount of people I have to juggle anymore, and cumulative issues have made it so I feel less like I'm having fun and more like I'm tolerating everybody around me at best. Just... don't think too deeply into it.

Moving on.

I'm leaving the Decaverse and the room to Rarest. I trust her to be the most objective, and the most interesting with the story of it. A leadership position is probably not something she covets, but that's okay. If she wants to pass the room on to somebody else, that's fine too. If she wants to burn it to the ground, whatever. I'm not even sure if it'd last without me, as I was always under the impression it was a me fanclub, which is really not what I wanted it to become.

Speaking of a 'me' fanclub, I hate Deccy. I love the attention she brings me, but I hate Deccy. All of my other works would always be overshadowed by Deccy. When I gave Deccy away, a lot of people fell off of me because fucking a giant pink alicorn was their only REAL reason for having me as a friend. Every time I asked people who they wanted me to play most, and they asked for Deccy, it broke my heart. Because while I like her... it hurts that people just want her. It's like they never gave anything else a chance.

As for characters...

Well, I'm going to be doing my best not to look. I hope the names of Mane-iac, Nightmarity, Empress Decadence, etc. go to people who are passionate about Maney, Marity, and Cadance respectively. Please don't hold onto them for my sake, as I have no intention of coming back. I've been thinking about this for a month, remember - this isn't a fit of rage in which I wipe the slate clean. This is social suicide. If you use these names for ill or hold them for me, I will be... angry. Use them well. In six month's time, when I get curious, and I see something good? I will be pleased.

Of course, I'm not going to be physically capable of cutting myself off from the internet entirely. I'm just going to be doing my best to wipe my footprint off of my signature sites and methods of contact. That includes F-List, Furaffinity, Skype, Discord, and Steam. Perhaps we'll cross paths once again in the future. If we do, I hope it is as strangers. I don't feel like I'm worthy of the affection most of you give me. With that in mind, I want us to be friends again - but because of my merits as a PERSON, not because I have a giant pink dick. I think once you look past the castle I've built, you'll find the foundation is rotten to the core.

What else am I missing...

Ah, yes. This journal and profile will stand as a testament to my successes and my failures. All of my art is completely free to use. Hopefully, with my removing myself from this account, I will be free from my wanton desire to waste money on useless art nobody cares about. I'm going to change the password to some long string of letters and numbers I won't remember. Hopefully that's enough discouragement. Most of my watchers don't even log on anymore, and the rest of them just want mindless porn.

Finally...

Don't you dare pursue me. If I make deliberate contact with any of you again, it will be me contacting you. If you want to never have a chance with me again regardless of alts or meeting up again without knowing who I am, you will respect my damn privacy.

I hope that me turning over this new canvas will help me be a better person, and a happier one.

So I've been thinking, I've got a whole lot of art sitting in my gallery doin' nothing. Characters I'm not attached to, characters I haven't even done anything with, et cetera. However, I don't want to waste my time putting up a 'for sale' post on characters nobody would be interested in, or anything along those lines.

SO.

In the theoretical scenario that I put EVERYTHING in my gallery up for sale, all of my characters, who would you buy? (If you bought a character, you would get all their art) How much would you buy it for?

So I've been wanting to get some commissions lately, and while initially I was extremely excited for Cervia, it honestly really isn't appropriate for me to do right now. You guys don't come to me for narratives and nonsexual designs - you guys want smut. And there's nothing wrong with that, I just need to cater to my audience better.

Looking through my stats, my most favorited piece is Luna and Celestia in 'You Can Dance if You Want To' ( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/18717208/ ). I have no idea why, honestly, but it's not terribly relevant.

My next two favorited are easily Asherith: Goddess of Mercy ( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/18495716/ ) and Goodra and Scolipede ( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/18761729/ ). Beyond that? My top images are canon character after canon character after canon character. And for good reason, too - I mean, I've mostly been commissioning them, so why not? But these two images have really stuck out, and I want to know what you guys like about them and why.

HEY YO SO /SURPRISE/. Lots of information here.

So, first of all, real talk. MLP is a boisterous universe, but two things are bound to happen.

1: The fandom and the medium will falter, get cancelled, or otherwise go into a severe enough recession that there's barely any demand for it.

2: MLP will continue to do things I don't like from a narrative perspective.

On the second point, it's easy enough for me to say 'The Nightmare Rarity arc was stupid, and I completely don't acknowledge it.' or 'As amazing as the season 4 finale was, I don't like the implications of having Tirek around or the loss of the Elements of Harmony' or even things as simple as 'I hate Discord and try to ignore him in anything I write' or 'Everything past the end of season 3 is irrelevant in the Decaverse canon'. However, after so much ignoring and warping and twisting and changing and fanwriting and editing and such things, it not only gets difficult to keep track of, but exhausting to explain to EVERY new acquaintance I make or who sees my work.

Now, I can see two questions arising.

"Are you done with doing anything with ponies? What about any other future fandoms or other such things?"

"Are you done with fetishy art in general?"

The quick answer to both questions is "HAHAHAHAHA, NO." It'd practically be ritual suicide to abandon BOTH of those, and just as well, I don't WANT to abandon both of them. I still enjoy ponies a lot, I still have love for a tremendous amount of fetishes (and the Pollution has a lot of room for kinks, more on that later). I'm gonna be getting both, so don't you worry. I'm just going to get basic designs out of the way first.

Cervia is my answer to these laments - a universe that I get to create and play with, a universe of my own creation, that I can add to, remove from, play a canon, and overall write and involve you guys (eventually) with. You'll find a lot of my older creations will be fitted into it one way or another - a lot of my pony characters, for instance, will likely get a name change, a backstory rewrite, a species change...the whole shebang. SO MUCH REWRITING. For instance, my beloved Nightmarity will most likely end up as a dragon, literally and figuratively a green-eyed monster who gave up her cervine nature for power - power to create as she pleased, and power to ensure that one day, everyone else would KNOW her art. How cool is that? (Not cool at all? Well, fine then! ;_;)

SO THAT'S ALL. Tell me what you think, I guess. Complain if you want to. Just worry not - you'll get your kink fix and your pony fix and that jazz. This is a fallback net I'll be working on over time.

Hey, guys! So, I've been musing on doing a choose your own adventure style story - I write out some of the story, then you guys sort of choose/vote for what happens next, and then I write more of it. Sort of to keep my inspiration going, y'know? Make it interactive, make it fun. Would you guys like something like that? Is there anything, specifically, I should involve? Hell if I know! But it might be a fun experiment.

Hey, guys. It's only been a month since my 'End of an Era' post, but as it turns out, I'm bad at sitting idly by and wasting away.

So I'm trying to take my life back again. I'm slowly rebuilding everything I tossed aside on F-List. I'm on depression meds and they've been working well.

I've set my eyes on Empress Decadence and the Decaverse once more, and may take the character back soon.

I'm looking at getting into a college and subsequently going right into a pharmacy job.

After that, who knows? Hopefully a lot more commissioning.

Hey, guys. So, I'll be short and sweet with you, because nobody likes long journals.

I'm quitting writing, and for the most part I'm quitting roleplaying. It's a job for me, not a hobby, not something I enjoy. I'm folding inwards and I intend to stay that way.

So too am I for the most part quitting commissioning art. Don't get too hyped to unfollow me yet - that might change. But Pink has been booked to the ears mostly because of me, I lack money, and without writing, I lack a lot of motivation. I still have a few pieces to post I'll get around to doing someday.

I'm just informing those of you who know me here and not elsewhere of what's going on. And for those asking - no, I'm no longer taking either writing requests or art requests.

Hey guys! So, I've been considering opening up writing commissions - roleplay barely sates my desires lately and I need something else to turn my writing talents to. Now, I don't have very much of a portfolio - the only thing I even have posted directly up here is that one Luna story and while I was passionate back then, frankly I now find it embarrassingly bad.

Therefore, I am offering FREE stories to those of you who ask for one below. I might write only one - I might write a bunch. It depends on your ideas. Some guidelines:

I would also like for you guys to submit a target wordcount for me to aim for. While this is still completely free, pretend you're paying me 1c a word - 1000 words would be 10 dollars, 2000 words would be 20 dollars, etc.

Hey! So I've been pretty quiet over the last two months. That first month, Pink was out of commission (literally) and considering that he's almost the only artist I commission at all, there was no art inflow. The second month...well, I'd been pretty lazy and exhausted and only just now have I gotten back to posting stuff. Even then, the pace has slowed down for a while! But I should get back to it at some point.

In the meantime, I no longer have the heart to post things on Derpibooru. It's just too much work. So feel free to post my stuff up there! I'll likely find and follow it.

HI so, I'm throwing this journal up to announce some stuff and also clear some things up, so, first things first:

I lost my job. I lost my job a pretty good amount of time ago, actually, and almost all of the art you're seeing me post here is a result of other people's generosity and giving me money. It seems that I'm not going to be able to get another job soon either, so, well, fuck, basically.

The GOOD news is, is such a fan of my works that they basically want to help 'sponsor' the streams I get. They value my creative abilities as well as my ability to handle paperwork if you will enough that they want to fund the stuff I get. The new system is basically going to work in that I contribute the ideas, they contribute the money - and we will both each pull half of the planned art for each of us on the stream. I recommend perhaps following them if you want to see the other half, if you will. So hooray! Art! And for any of my followers - if you want to help out or sponsor me for whatever reason (something I wouldn't normally assume but hey, one's already doing it, so), I like to help. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) That extends too to the idea of just asking me to help you with character ideas, because I try to be a nice guy.

If everything goes as planned, there'll be a stream tomorrow, on the 10th, which will just be general hyper stuff.

BUT, now, the important stuff. I've been accused of art theft multiple times. So now I'm gonna tell you guys a story.

Once upon a time, I was a writer and a roleplayer without any money. Unfortunately, other roleplayers don't care whether or not you have money. I care about keeping my profiles in top notch quality, so unfortunately, using other images is a necessity. I averted this issue by playing canon characters often (though two artists made a habit of scrolling through roleplayer's profiles and culling anyone who used their canon character art - personally, it's one thing if you feel like you're being misrepresented or if your OCs are being used but that's just a dick thing to do; thankfully, I was never victimized by it), but sometimes, I just had an original concept that canon characters simply couldn't fit. So I had to, being poor and unable to draw, use other people's art.

It's basically the equivalent of being a poor bread thief in my eyes - you're not doing any harm, but you're just doing what you need to do to survive; writers are artists too, but people care more about visual representation. But anyway, I'm gonna clear up any accusations now.

Giant Peach is the only actually valid accusation of art theft. Why? Well, they were once my favorite OC to play. I loved them so much, in fact, that I /forgot/ they didn't belong to me. It ended up so that when I was bored of them, I decided to give them to a friend - while still forgetting that it didn't belong to me. I even commissioned them an image for them to use because they didn't have anything really well made. The good news is, since that point, I realized my mistake, and purchased the character from the original owner, So let it be known, that the rights belong to me - and, well, now I've given them to that friend.

Ley Lines is one I got much more accusations of art theft for, but that character actually DOES belong to me. Technically, it's a clusterfuck, so I'll explain. An acquaintance of mine was devising a concept for a character, and they wanted my help bouncing ideas. I got REALLY enthusiastic about their concept, and began to devise all sorts of plots and things for said character - and, when they wrote it, I found myself extremely disappointed with what they had put down. So I ended up offering to buy the character - and no matter what I offered them, they refused, even things that were clearly way beyond the value of a new character. But rather than just turn me down, they let me use their name and gimmick - which, while mentally frustrating to me as the character didn't fully belong to me, I thought I could deal with. I couldn't. So now I have three useless art pieces that I'm gonna have to figure something to do with out eventually, but those were still commissioned for ME, with a different design and everything. I never stole the character.

Second Strike didn't get any art theft accusations - I simply wanted to clarify that the character isn't mine, and not to come to me looking for me to play them or something. She's a gift to a friend, and a power player in the Decaverse story.

Lia is mine, but fuck if I'm ever gonna do anything with it. Feel free to use the design, I've had my heart broken with the character.

Baroness Rose Thorns is mine and has always been mine.

Gamma Ray is mine and has always been mine.

...and I do have a few other characters left on my roleplay site that are using others' art, but I will replace them as soon as I reasonably can. BUT, now I want to talk about MY permissions to use MY art.

Art of my canon characters is completely free use, unless you've somehow managed to make me hate you so much that I would go to the trouble of reporting you for using canon character art I commissioned. I can only think of 4 or 5 names that would earn that title.

Art of my OCs is also completely free use, because just because I have money now, doesn't mean that I've forgotten how horrible it is to not have it. I'd prefer you didn't rip my characters off and copy their stories, but you can use the original characters however you like. If I don't see you do it, I don't care, especially.

You're also free to color them as you please and such, but that's probably not gonna become an issue. does most of it anyway but I mean, if you want to, I'm not stopping you.

At some point in the near future, I'm going to be commissioning more art, obviously, because I highly enjoy doing that. But I, myself, don't have all the creative ideas. I'm interested in hearing of not only what you guys would think would make a good commission, but what you'd want to see!

It seems more people want me to stagger the uploads, so expect some more tomorrow at the same time!
