9/11 wound up killing my mother.
She was stranded in Maine with no way to get at the chemo which was holding back her cancer. We got her home a week later, and she died at home with her family around her. To this day, I still recall telling my brother-in-law, a RN, “Remember, no heroic measures!” when he was about to start CPR…
(sad sigh) And now it’s my turn for chemo for lymphoma… :(

Remember, people, IF YA GOTS BEETUS, WATCH YOUR FEET!
On my laptop at the hospital, so I won't be typing much. Right foot had an allergic reaction to cheap beetus socks, and it got Real Bad, Real Fast. The hospital folks are nice, competent and helpful, so things are as under control as possible.
However, I'm not in a position to do much typing, so keep an eye on Walt46's page for updates.
Wish me luck! I'll need it! :D
