SO the holiday was awesome - had a huge amount of fun, did touristy things, family things, friend things. We hope to come up to Bris again at the same time each year (if possible) because we enjoyed ourselves that much. Jase had a blast and came home much happier than when he left. We're a very happy couple at the moment now *grins madly*

I just want to thank everyone who's been +watching me, +faving my stuff, replying to my journals and all that. The few times I get comments and such feels so good. Of course I wish people commented more, especially with critiques, but getting any kind of recognition at all is awesome. I really appreciate all of you. I was wondering ... I probably have more commissioned artwork uploaded here into my gallery than my own artwork - would it be better if I had a separate account for those? Keep my own work away from what I get commissioned? Or is it fine to keep it all together? It's not like there's an overwhelming amount of either ...

Well, I've joined up to Simply Furry in an attempt to expand my range of art subject matter and get some more practice in to deadlines. They'd really love more artists taking part, so head on over there and join up - but please, only if you're prepared to follow the guidelines. Don't join up if you're not going to do your part in the trade process.

So I finally dragged my butt into SL (mostly because it's the only place I can spend time with one of my best friends) but have yet to get myself a furry avatar. I haven't bought any L$ yet to spend, so I'll work on that. But in the meantime I'm trying to figure out how best to make Marrra in there. Any suggestions?

So, I finally completed the main ref pic for my ref sheet. It's uploaded in my gallery now for feedback (I'm serious, please give me critique!). I just have the rest of the sheet to work on (colour swabs, description, tail markings, etc) and then it will be done ^_^. I actually feel really good about the way she's turned out - I like it!

I hate being sick. It totally erases any motivation I have for anything. So ... no arts from me as yet. I hope I get over this soon, I'm sick of being sick and want to be able to do stuff again :(

So I've actually done a pencil sketch I'm not too displeased with. Just have to get it scanned in so I can play around with it. I'm looking forward to getting Marrra down in design. Thinking of giving her dreadlocks, too. I can't do that with my own hair so may as well do it with hers ;) Anyway, stay tuned for more (sometime).

Yes, still here. Sorry I haven't produced any art lately. Just ... haven't been inspired. Also, I got a new computer and didn't get photoshop for it until today. So hopefully as I play around with that, something will come of it.

Edit: Oh, and the new icon is a headshot of my character on Everquest 2 ^_^ As close to Marrra as I could get there.
