A short trip.
Posted 9 years agoHey, guys! So, I mentioned briefly in my Raffle Winner journal that I was going to be taking a trip later this week. That's still going on. I'm taking off tomorrow, and I'll be back home Friday night. So I'll be putting progress on raffle requests on hold until the weekend. (Which I also mentioned in my last journal).

Secondly, curious as to how I decided these winners? Well, using the following website https://www.random.org/lists/, I came up with a complicated way to decide the winners! I had 2 tabs with this website open; One tab with the list of everyone who entered, and another with the numbers 1-55 (Since 55 people entered my raffle). To put this in perspective; Say the number at the top of the randomized list was “23”. I would then randomize the username list, and whoever was at the number 23 spot, would be one of the winners!

That’s right! Meeeeee! :D Oh my gosh, I’m so happy right now. This burden I’ve had on me all year has finally been lifted off my shoulders! Lots of things are going through my mind right now… Mainly happiness and relief. X3
But yeah, now that that’s done, I should be a lot more active from here on out! I apologize for being gone most of the summer, but those days are over! And I’m fucking back, yo!
So, yeah, I’ll probably spend the next day or two going through my messages here and on FA, faving and replying whatever I need to, and kinda just settling down a bit. After which, I plan to get back into drawing.
Thank you all so much for your support and understanding. It really means a great deal to me! And to sorta commemorate this, I have a plan for the very near future… I’ll let you guys in on it later.

As for me, I haven't been doing a whole lot, as you can probably tell. But I'm happy to say that that will be coming to an end shortly.
I have FINALLY scheduled my GED testing. I'll be taking each section individually over time, but I'm knocking math out first, which is really my biggest concern, since I've been having to learn and study math a lot of the time. But after that, I'm pretty much done with the hard part. I'll still have the other 3 sections to do, but most of those just require common sense rather than a lot of studying. So I think I can safely say I'm almost in the clear!
I've also been hit with the dreaded artist's block. Possibly my worst one in recent memory. I'm pretty much unmotivated and honestly kinda unable to do much artwork. But that, too, is also going to change. I plan to spend a lot more time drawing and being active in the community after this whole GED thing blows over. And I gotta say, I'm really looking forward to it. I really miss being here with you guys. And posting new content for you to enjoy.
But I'm almost ready to do just that~ ^^

Life Update
Posted 9 years agoI feel as though this is long overdue. What has been going on with me lately? Why have I not been as active in terms of art or socialization?
Well, you see, I've been studying and preparing for a GED (General Education) Test. I have never been to High School, so I don't have a proper diploma. If I pass this, then... It's like saying I've been to High School basically.
And as a result, I haven't had as much time to talk to you guys, add newly posted content to my favorites, or respond to comments on things I have found the time to work on and post. And I very much regret so. I miss being able to post a lot of content and respond to my messages and comments. But studying for this test has pretty much drained all my motivation to make new content or go through my inboxes. All I really want to do at the end of the day is play games or watch YouTube. And it's not a good feeling.
The good news is, however, the end is drawing ever nearer. I'm pretty much almost done studying, and almost ready to take this stupid test. Which is good for 2 reasons; One, I get more time to draw new things and maybe finally start keeping up with my inboxes. The other being finally getting this burden behind me. The last few months I've spent preparing for this have been quite stressful for me. I've never had to take a standardized test before, so this is all really new to me. There are times when I've felt this is too much for me to handle, especially these last few weeks. Not because it's hard, but because it's hard for me to get into it. Because I could not care less about any of these things I need to know for this test, and it's difficult for me to concentrate and absorb that information. Especially math, which had been my main area of studying for this test. And I've been trying to learn this at a very rapid pace too. I've been basically taking a whole math course that would normally take a year or two, in just under 4 months. I can't believe I have kept up with any of it to be perfectly honest.
It's not easy balancing free time and study time. And because study time has pretty much drained me, and all I want to do is practically nothing, my social life has had to suffer because of it.
I really am sorry I haven't been around lately. I don't like it. But I think I'm close to done, and I'll be able to put this behind me and get my life back.

Posted 9 years agoZootopia... Hmp... How do I put this.... I hate-- You know what, I'm not even going to finish that joke, because I LOVED IT, SO MUCH. Oh my god, it was everything I had hoped it would be. The jokes were funny, the attention to detail was phenomenal, just... I loved everything about it! It is definitely my new favorite movie. Call me furry trash all you want, it won't change my mind~ X3
But in all seriousness, I fucking love this movie. I'm getting it as soon as it's on Blu-Ray or iTunes or whatever, and probably putting it on in the background while I draw or just hang out in my room.
Anyone who hasn't seen it yet REALLY should. In theaters, or when it's on Blu-Ray/Streaming, just... See this damn movie. Period.

I've played a lot of games throughout the years, but these 10 are considered the best to me. Not just based on the quality of the games themselves, but based on how much I enjoyed them, and the overall impact they've had on me. I will be listing the platforms I played them on, and the years they were released. As well as a brief summary of the games in the top 10. So, with that said, let's get into it!

Posted 10 years agoSorry I haven't been posting a lot of new art lately. I have a few things I'm working on, but I've been struggling to get my creative juices flowing. I really hate when that happens...
But I want to let you know that I am trying my best to get back in the swing of things. It just might take a bit more time. (Especially since I started playing Call of Duty online again... And find myself doing so for quite some time. XD)
