i'm so late posting this lmao, but a few weeks ago i went to furnal equinox in toronto for my second year in a row! i had sm fun!

on wednesday i went over to toronto early so i could spend some extra time with my girlfriend since i don't get to see her often (she lives multiple hours away from me booo) i wanted to take her to my favourite restaurant (a ramen restaurant, ramen is my fav!) BUT i didn't realize that they closed earlier on weekdays and i somehow didn't think to double check lmao. so we ended up going to a burger place instead. not too upset about that actually, the burgers were pretty good.

i properly arrived on thursday so i could get settled into the hotel room early and register early. i took my girlfriend out for ramen for real this time and after dinner we went back to the hotel and went to registration and grabbed my badge with literally like 4 minutes to spare until reg closed, i am SO lucky i made it on time i did NOT want to deal with friday reg lmao. i checked out the dance for a little while but left since there weren't many people. then me and my friends just hung out in our hotel room for a while!

friday was the first actual day of the con and it was fun! i went to the dealer's den right as it opened and spent way too much time in there as well as way too much money LMAO. i got lots of little trinkets and some art of dread which i'm happy about. afterwards i went to the sketchbook swap and had a good time, i think i drew almost every person there and also got a few cute drawings of dread :) more dread art to add to the dread shrine on my wall!!! i then went out to grab dinner with a whole bunch of my friends and we had a great time, we had pasta and it was super yum. after that i got my rave outfit and attended the rave ofc, you can't miss the first actual rave of the con!! super fun time. after the rave we headed back to the hotel room to do a hear me out cake that doubled as my friend's birthday cake. i was awarded the weirdest hear me out :3 after the con i was kinda sick and i could tell my body definitely didn't like that i used a random fork that someone else used to eat the cake LMAO
tbh most of this day was spent at the dealer's den as well as catching up with a bunch of my friends i haven't seen in a while. you never realize how many people you actually know until you're at a furry convention!!

saturday was great! probably my favourite day of the con. this day was the fursuit walk, it was fun walking around interacting with other furs and seeing the reaction of people who weren't furries themselves but were happy to see furries. i walked around taking lots of pictures this day. before the rave i popped over to a few room parties to hang out with my friends before we made our way down to the rave! the saturday night rave was AWESOME and i had SUCH a great time at the rave this night. raves are always more fun with friends! after the rave we went back to our hotel room and hung around a bit more before heading to sleep.

sunday was a more chill day. i started by heading to the pooltoys panel, but unfortunately most were already deflated by the time i got there. still happy about the ones i got to see though :) another panel i was excited about was the trading post panel, i got some little trinkets and traded kandi with other people. i also went to the my little pony panel, i brought my rainbow dash plush and made lots of friends there who share my interests :) i didn't win anything in the raffle for my little pony collectibles, but some of my friends got prizes luckily! afterwards was the dead dog dance, i wanted to stay for a long time but my legs were actually killing me by this point so i couldn't stay for very long. it doesn't help that my shoes are like 8 years old atp and practically decomposing atp LMAO. all my friends were telling me to get new shoes haha, maybe i'll finally get new ones so my legs don't hurt. anyways after dead dog we got burgers (again) then headed back to the hotel room to chill. that's pretty much it!

anyways, to conclude i had SO much fun during this con. i think i have to say this has been my favourite convention so far, and i'm so happy to have attended! i'm so glad i got to meet new friends and talk to my old friends again. i love furnal equinox!
