Hey everyone. Just a quick journal to let you all know I haven't left FA yet. My inactivity thus far has been due to several things, not the least of which is my inability to make any new music as of late, which has been because of a horrible period of lack of inspiration I have been going through.

So, yeah. I should probably start looking through the 207 submissions and 74 journal entries I have in my inbox at the time of writing.

Okay, okay.
I was out-of-town for about two weeks, but now I'm back.

I think I'm going to start confusing people. Here's how: I'll start releasing tracks with artists like "Dragon MC ft. SpYkes" or "Martin Fox ft. Meta Phor". The thing is, those are fictional artists from my story-world. :D

Also, I'm going to set up an encyclopedia on my web site. It will contain various articles detailing different aspects of my story-world, to facilitate learning about it. :3

Yessireebob, today's the day that the Khasa twins turn 21.

While they celebrate it more enthusiastically than Martin does, they've never been very materialistic and always ask for little things, if anything at all.

This year they didn't ask for anything, but Martin is a good friend and has the insight to know what they want. He's getting Ren a limited-edition copy of Psycho-Op, the new first-person shooter. And as for his gift to Rin... well, I'll let that be a surprise for now. ;3

Fun fact: Ren is 2 minutes older than Rin.

Today was Martin's 21st birthday. :3

You can guess how much he didn't celebrate, but Rin and Ren both stopped by his house at one point to wish him a happy birthday.

Interesting thought: Rin and Ren's 21st birthdays (they're twins) are this Thursday, the 9th. It's a big deal for Martin because participating in stuff like this around Rin is tricky business. You know, he doesn't want to give the wrong impression and scare away Rin unintentionally. (See: all the profiles that mention Rin's crush on Martin. Also: the Untitled story that I submitted on Valentine's Day.)

I might upload a story on the 9th or sometime later telling what exactly happened. I know what Martin's going to do for Rin, but it's going to be a surpriiise. >:3

I was in the bookstore yesterday when the book Myth-Chief by Robert Asprin caught my eye.
I decided to get it, not because it looked interesting or because I had head of the author before.

No, I bought it because of its cover. Look at the right side of it.

Yeah, I got a book SOLELY bcause of the anthropomorphic fuzzy thing on the cover. xD

Don't get me wrong; it's a good book so far. But that doesn't make the reason I got it in the first place any less pathetic.

I'm not even playing an April Fools' joke either.

Some of my friends from another IRC network (non-furries, who used to know me as DragonMC) are organizing a webcomic based around several IRC channels from this network and their regulars. And I'm going to be in it, since I own one of the channels. :D (It's a private channel, but still.)
I'll be represented as a non-anthropomorphic fox (since the artist can't draw anthros :P).

While I don't want to tell any more about the webcomic or its other cast members, do keep an eye on my journal for when it's officially released! :3

So, I had my username changed on several forums from DragonMC to Kasran. I think this will help me further break the ice, as it were.

Now for a different topic: I sketched Martin last night, and I'm going to upload that right now. So, cool. :3

The problem is that I only have about $3 in cash (if that much), and my mother will likely not let me access the $200-something in my bank account for whatever reason.
The other problem is that I'm a lazy bastard and don't do chores, so I don't get any allowance.

I guess I should start doing chores.

I want to come out of the closet, as it were, regarding my furryism.

I have thus far been leading a double life. Only a few people right now know that Martin_Fox and the other guy are the same person. I want to make it public in a way that won't cause a minor scandal.
But doing so is by its very nature tricky, and I have no idea how to begin.
