well, i had almost given up writing this morning...but with the help of a close friend i think i might throw myself back into writing.
my English composition professor has been really hard on me with grading and somehow he managed to ingrain it in me that im not a good writer. in his words:
"young man, i hope that writing will not be your future profession. for you may go a while without many meals...though it wouldn't really hurt you"
and if its not obvious, that was a shot at my writing and waistline. *sigh* but with the help of a very close friend (kiba, aka
powersndark) i got through that little depressive phase today. and he was the 1st fur today to wish me a happy birthday...
well, i dont know what else to say...

Posted 16 years agowell, not just an update. i sorta wanna know how all my afvorite furs (whom i havent seen in a bit and otherwise) are doing.
lets see, ive become the vp of the language club. im a tutor, and im part of the anime club and the sub division of that, the club making a manga. our 1st meeting was eariler today, so we have no name yet
im learning hebrew, and japanese. and im really brushing up on my french since im in a french 1 class (belong in french 3) but clerical errors annoy me too much to really care.
i have no access to a scale, but i can tell college life is making me rounder...heh, my pants are a little more snug, and i have to wear them lower. but ill stop describing there, just know that im getting bigger because the cafeteria is buffet style, and there is a cheap chinese buffet in walking distance (waddling distance soon)
hmm...My chem professer hates me. and my other professers are a combo of putting up with me and liking that i tutor for them, and that i partipate in class.

Posted 16 years agoWell, i meant to post a journal on the matter a while ago, but ive been having tons of fun! so far there are like 12 other 1st year students (meaning other 16 yr olds) but the other thing is that tlike 90% of the school hates us because we are in the same classes that they are in.
my room is pretty cool. 2 beds, 2 closets, 2 desks. pretty awesome for a single.
kidding! im not that fat you know!!!
i get along great with my roommate...lets call him...Aaron. well, we get along great, but i hang out more with another motly group. we actually got in trouble for playing rolling chair soccer in the game room (academy students main safe place)
classes are cake so far, and i think all my professurs (excpet zurales in chemistry) really like me! wich is bad in french since im the only one who said anything close to "j'ai seize ans" translation, i am 16. but oh well.
ive been playing more video games, hanging out more, and living life!
im really happy away from home. and to the furs that know why, well i am.
oh, im learing to play electric guitar. one of the 2nd year girls is teaching me. she is um...more into girls anyway. besides, i have my lovaeble kitty whom i shall never be unfaithful. oh, and i love the lug too.
he's been really supportive of this. and he will say ive just been having fun like i should, but ive been blowing off meetings online with him, then when i have time, he has to work. in that respect i really miss summer.
oh, i am sorta getting pudgier. um...every single meal is a buffet. i think my typical meal is 3 bins of fries, 2 cheese burgers, a ton of soda, andd lots of sweets (i kinda hogged the cheesecake yesterday at dinner though) and i think i ate a couple tacos too.

Posted 16 years agoive actually been up since 10 am this morning. and now its like...6 am. know, sleep is supposed to be a nessesity for kids my age. but i swear im an insomniac latley (and abby, you can yell and dicipline me later) i downloaded maple story, and so far its pretty good. but i just have alot on my mind latley. eh.
well, i do wantt to get back into the swing of writing so i did want to ask that people resuest stuff from me...i know, weird right?
well ive got writers block and ive really wanted to do a request from someone. i think my writing has gotten a bit better (cause lets face it, my previous stories sucked)
but anyway, i wanna do request.
maybe im depressed about something i have no idea about. eh, im weid like that. anywyay...well, i want requests and i cant sleep. that about covers it... damn insomnia! i wasnt supposed to be an insomniac at least until i was 19.

Posted 16 years agoHello furs of FA! i hope i was important enough to be missed these last couple of weeks. Well, more like month. but anyway, im back and glad!
for those that didnt know already school let out for me back on May 22, and that was my last day as a high school student. i wont lie, i did bawl like a baby not realizing how much ill miss the people in my life. there were alot of sad moments, and even more very touching moments. the rest...the rest mostly involved gossip of "he must have cheated" and "does he think he's to good for us?" and the worst is the betting pool that was started over how long i will last in college. its actually posted on the ass holes myspace page.
myspace and teenagers never ends well. but i am going to make those ass holes loose whatever money they bet against me!
i move into my dorm on august 14th of august and classes start on the 18th.
and my schedule is killer. Trigonometry, Advanced bilogical Chemistry, Advanced Prinicplas of chemistry, Calulus Mathmatics, Intermediate French, composition 1, Gym and health (im technically an academy student, so i gotta take it). and i am really just 16. heh...in my family im only the 2nd on my moms side to go to college. and the youngest in my whole family.
please wish me luck. heh, abby has been saying ill do great in school
Speaking of abby....oh how i love him! Let me count the many ways that tabby makes me happy. hes caring, loving, a doting lover (almost like a school marm...in a good way)

anyway...what was i saying? well qucik review: got an hp laptop, stoked about going to college, got my class scedule, back online to talk and hang out with people and furs, gettting very serious with my boyfriend (glad i am), planning to go to mall with friends and see the next harry potter (the half blood prince. Snape kills!...nah, for those that might have just started reading it or dont like reading and just want the movie, i wont be a spoiler) , ive put on a few pounds in my gut, and...well, i think thats it.

But today is yearbook day. The day at my school where we get our yearbooks, and all have a little ‘festival’ of sorts.
There are college booths for the juniors (the seniors get out a week before everyone else), military and navy recruiters, and a bunch of local restaurants set up shop and sell junk food to us all day.
Basically, it’s a school day but its no school.
Kind of an “almost end of the year” party and a break for teachers as well. Basically, you’ll see cliques of friends hanging out in separate parts of school wandering around writing in other people’s yearbooks.
My group hangs out in the balcony of the auditorium.
Anyway, since its my last year at this school, and in high school in general, what’s written in here will mean a lot to me both now, and when I’m older
And since this was the year I joined the furry community, and made a lot of close friends here, I want those words in my yearbook too!

I like chess…I just shouldn’t be allowed to play it.
Posted 16 years agoI like playing strategy games. I just don’t like being quiet, so that’s why you’ll never see me in an actual chess competition or Go (Japanese strategy war game, last I checked online I’m a 12 kyu) competition.
I have to make jokes and kid around. Heh, being a smart aleck is kind of my way of dealing with life. The library at my school has a section in back for playing chess and checkers, and me and a friend were back there earlier.
My friend ‘Lee’ is just a year older than me, we’ve been buds since I started middle school. He’s just…well lets just say we bring out a lot of immaturity in each other.
This is how the whole game went in a nutshell.
We decide what the ‘war’ is over
Lee: It’s a war, so what should it be over…?
Me: Oil prices? Holy land?
Lee: Your mom?
Me: Shut up Lee.
Lee: Make me
Me: I don’t make tacos, I eat them!
Lee: Man, I could go for some tacos right now.
Me: I know right, me too!
He captures my first pawn with his knight.
Me: MR. EXPENDABLE! I will avenge your death!
Lee: Really?
Me: No.
Lee: nice. Really nice dude.
Me: Hey! I don’t criticize how many expendable warriors you kill to get your goal, so don’t criticize how many expendable warriors I kill to beat you!
I take his bishop with my rook
Me: Ha ha, I’m gonna kill the castle!
Lee: Get your hands off of him you damn dirty ashtray!
He takes my knight with his pawn.
Lee: Don’t worry pony, you’re dying for a just cause.
Me: And that cause would be…?
Lee: Cause I felt like it! NOW DIE PONY, DIE!

Posted 16 years agoIn a way, class day is a passing baton thing is literal, because on that day (when the last part of the program is over) the freshman become sophomores, the sophomores become juniors, the juniors become seniors, and the seniors are ‘done’ with high school.
It’s not literal in that sence, its more of a title kind of thing.
Just a bunch of stupid school spirit.
But the baton is literal because my school’s mascot is an Indian; we each pass down this stupid totem pole thing through the auditorium.
I just don’t want to go because I won’t be a junior next year and I’ll feel crappy the whole program. Oh, only a couple of teachers and one girl (well, and my family) know I’m leaving in fall.
Well there’s that, and I don’t want to go because it will suck.

crap...the asembly starting...gotta go.

And the advanced Chemistry and Biology classes at my school get to go to the premiere of the Disney Earth movie!
It’s going to be awesome, as I have no idea what! I mean…it’s just a documentary really. But…well, I guess I just have a flare for the environment and nature. Even tough we’ll be in a movie theater; the image of nature will be peaceful. In fact, I think I’ll chill out in the park of my town after school that day.
Not the part but this one secluded section with a giant tree in the center. I’ve been climbing it since I was 10, and I usually sit on one of the strong limbs to read.
But I digress, plant a tree, clean up around you local area, recycle, even shut of your lights (any other electric stuff too) for at least an hour!
Do whatever you can to help the environment we all share!
We’ve only got one planet earth furs! Don’t let it get even more screwed up!!!

Posted 16 years agoACHOO! I don’t know about the rest of America, but the south is having some really wet weather. I mean the river in my town has been dangerously high, and the rain has been coming down like no one’s business!
I have the tendency to either brood like a depressed scholar, or go into an unbelievably good mood when it rains.
Are any of you other furs like that?
(Seriously, I really want to know! I probably talk too much about myself anyway)
But the rain stated at around my 3rd period class, and lasted the whole day. At lunch I went a little crazy with my friends…and well…long story short we had music in the rain kind of thing.
Heh…*sniffle*…if you like the show tune “singing in the rain”…well, we kind of butchered it.
But I did do a killer version of “Hum Hallelujah” by fall out boy.
I got a standing ovation…and a fair amount of “shut that dumb ass sophomore up!”
Its days like yesterday that make me sad it’s my last 2 months with my old friends.
I guess I’ll make new ones though…
But I digress, I screwed around playing in the rain, got soaked to the bone, and got sick. Very…*sniffles and coughs badly* sick.
I still have to go to school though, because my mom is at a work related conference and she’s trusting me to stay home for a few days (don’t worry for me or anything, the neighbors are checking on me every afternoon, evening, and morning).
And not going to school would kind of screw up that trust.
I was planning to take advantage of being home alone and stuffing myself to the point of exploding…but all I can do is take some medicine, get lots of fluids, and hope for the…

I mean this in every sense. To furs in the commercial and religious sense.
Um…I’m Christian…I’m just not really religious.
Good example is how I was freakishly uncomfortable in church today…maybe I’ve just read to many history books portraying the older churches…but I just feel uncomfortable in there.
Well, I mean I believe in god, its just a lot of my morals contradict the bible. And I happen to have a lot of questions that can’t be answered by anyone but myself…and there’s no way I can even begin to understand my questions. So if you ever wanted to know, I think I’m Christian…I just have a few qualms about it.
But enough about religion, I hope everyone had a great Easter, whether you were with family, or on your own this year.
And if you have family dinners like a lot of families do, then may I recommend you totally stuff yourself silly!
I did kind of get in trouble for getting creative with the egg painting. But come on, radioactive symbols on eggs is awesome! Plus i made this really cool one with fire coming from the bottom and the side said "Flaming Egg of DOOM"
That was so totally awesome!

And I happen to have a lot of questions that can’t be answered by anyone but myself…and there’s no way I can even begin to understand my questions. So if you ever wanted to know, I think I’m Christian…I just have a few qualms about it.
But enough about religion, I hope everyone had a great Easter, whether you were with family, or on your own this year.

I did kind of get in trouble for getting creative with the egg painting. But come on, radioactive symbols on eggs is awesome! Plus i made this really cool one with fire coming from the bottom and the side said "Flaming Egg of DOOM"

AbbyInflateableTabby made this one for me. it really means alot to me. its the fact that he took the time to make it for me that is really nice. heck, i may even look cute in this one!When i was little, each of my eyes was a different color. one black, one blue. I grew out of it before i turned...um i think i was 6, but i always loved how my eyes looked when they were mix matched. My parents hated it though...heh i guess thats part of why i liked them.

Blame Tubbycub for this one, he mentioned that everyone looks back on their child hood when they are older and like to think about it (not his exact words) anyway, answer the meme and tag as many people as you can. (Because I tag everyone who reads this)
I think this one may be a bit of fun…I really want to see how some furs answer these.
But I’ll do it just to be fair.
1.What was the worst thing you ever did (that got you into trouble) when you were a kid?
Made fake report cards. It was for someone I was trying to impress back in 6th grade, but I listened to my conscious and ripped it up before I lost my dignity. I did get detention for 2 and a half months though. (They went easy on me because I did right in the end)
2.Were you ever picked on by someone (or picked on someone)?
I’m a super nerd, who’s going to college two years early, but still has a voice like he belongs in middle school (no offence Tubbycub) so yes. Which is why my only other sport besides soccer was karate. But now my size just gives off the “don’t mess with him” vibe. So yes, I’ve been picked on.
3.What was a major fad that you regret following? (At any age)
The Yu-Gi-Oh trading card game. I pored so much hard earned (and not just begging for it) money into booster packs and new decks that it wasn’t even funny. And now they sit in a binder somewhere in storage.
4.First car? (Detail and brag as much as you want)
Still waiting. I’m getting my license this summer though, and my first car is looking like it’s going to be one of my cousin’s old Honda accords.
5.First drink? (Detail as much as you want)
Not yet…counting down to the time I can and it would not be ‘illegal’ though….

Only in elementary school (grade school) with some boy that was picking on an old friend of mine. I got my first black eye, and he got his first broken nose.

Posted 16 years agoI love manga and anime. Just felt like saying it. And yes there’s a point to this. Naruto is one of my top favorites (the manga, the anime filler sucks.)
Anyway, I read the latest chapter yesterday…and I see those glares, yes I was reading it in algebra II, but logarithms are easy as pie…. But this month’s Shonen jump came with a poster of all the tailed beasts hosts. And the way they were all up there gave me a killer idea.
Now this sounds like it might be a total rip off of
Zeekthelion and his sky run team, but I got to thinking about killer anime groups and teams.
Naruto has the Taka (well, technically Sauske has he Taka), the Akautski, and ANBU black ops.
Bleach has the 12 court guard squads.
And I’ve got nothing. That made me sad. So like most of yesterday I was daydreaming about this really cool idea of a team of furs (this is the part that sounds like a rip off, so I’m sorry Zeekthelion ) in search of adventure. I know that sounds cliché but its a lot more than that.
For those that don’t know, I write a lot more than just fat fur stories. I write fiction stories very well, and I sound like a genius when I write history or literary analysis reports. In fact my minor next year is in philosophy and I’m taking some extra composition classes.
The “after school” series is kind of major for me, because the next part is my autobiography, and after that I hope for it to be a combination of my journal and my imagination.
But this new idea is really like an other world fantasy kind of thing…its hard to explain. If I get the response I’m hoping for I’ll post some back information.
And if I start this up, I really need members, support, a smidge of help, and go through (as my chemistry teacher calls it) of members.
I don’t like dropping ideas, but at the same time I don’t like dragging them on and on and…well you get it.
So comment what you think, and if you’d be willing to join. (I have high hopes from abby, Tubbycub, siriusdog, big puppy Stuart, DonCass (bring AT with you!), spectrumwolf, Gavin wolf, Scott bear, and well…every fur!

2 new stories are up…and being 16 sucks
Posted 16 years agoBeing back at school is really depressing.
Its only 45 days until summer vacation for me. And you think I’d be really excited or something? Well I am…but it just feels weird knowing that the next two months will be the last time I ever set foot in these halls again as a student.
One of my friends (she’s a senior this year) said that a lot, if not all, seniors feel like that as soon as their last spring (sometimes winter) break ends. Any idea if she’s right?
Well if she is, I’m feeling that way too early.
*sigh*…maybe its just the guilt getting to me. You see, I’m going to this school to better myself academically and get ready for a great job when I’m an adult…but it’s also a more productive form of running away from home.
Yeah, it sounds dumb…but I knew if I just ran away, I couldn’t finish school and I’d be fairly screwed for the next few years of my life.
But by going to this school, I get away from my family…I love them, its just really complex…and from the crappy situation I am in with my friends.
You know, the whole ‘my true love’ thing and the people who claim to need me around. Not that I’m pessimistic about it…I mean…well…ugh I’d kill for more people (furs, or anyone) who understands what I mean.
Well...I do have some. And one who really means a lot to me.
But I get my associates degree at the same time I’d get my high school diploma, and I get to live away from home in a new setting with new people, and my first long term roommates (I’ve bunked with cousins and bunked on school trips…never for longer than that).
The other thing about this that is depressing me is that some of my teachers only want me to stay is because my grades beef up their paychecks. Not all of them are that way…at least I hope not…but a lot of them really are.
But don’t worry about me or anything, I probably sound like one sad sack of a wolf right now.

i never realized scientist could be such a fattening career
Posted 16 years agoits the last day of the georgia science fair (happy because its over, and sad because i still have school on monday)
and this whole weekend, staying at hotels and other places through the city with scientists and judges...well ive noticed one thing. not 1 single male that had some 'say' in what happened at this competition was 'in shape'
i even saw the chairman in a little rascal scooter, going around to judge. every male judge had either a smallish pot belly, or a gut so big that they actually knocked down projects with it.
i'm not kidding, the girl across form me had her model knocked down when one of the judges turned around to say something.
I honestly never realized that science could make you fat...oh well. guess i'm just making an odd observation....
oh gotta go! THE BUS IS LEAVING!!!!

Posted 16 years agohello furs. i am a little moody today. moddy as in kind of depressed and at the same time relieved and joyous.
I know that dosent make sense, so i'll explain:
i got passed over for that internship this summer, and i failed misribly at my "future business leaders of america" competition. which means unless i go looking for something to do (and i might, just won't anytime soon)i've got no plans for this summer anymore.
ugh...
But the hotel they put us all in was seriously swanky. and i rarley ever use that word. There were like 25 floors, and a buch of art every where, and...well just know that it was impressive. and expensive. But thank god the school paid for it! well...most of it.
oh, and they held a wedding, and a tango competition at the same time! if any furs work at the atlanta hyatt, give them some major credit! (i kind of suspected a few people...but not without good evidence)
Some creepy senior from another school hit on me (he had been drunk) and i kind of went along with it for a while. i even helped him to his room. As for his hangover...i kind of let his own group worry about that.
but anyway, i just got off the bus an hour ago, and i'm thinking about my immediate future.
That being, that it is now my spring break.
I've got two days of sheer laziness that i am going to use to the fullest extent! I've got my tv and remote, my ps2 and psp, my mp3 player, and i've got enough food here to keep 5 furs alive for six months...so in theory it will all last until tomorrow :-P
its just kind of weird being lazy...i mean that its just weird for me.
maybe it's the universe's way of making me have a restful 4 months before i enter this whole new life thingy (refer to my I GOT IN journal if you don't already know)
I've still got science fair on wednsday, and i kno i'm going to kick some nerd butt! (even though i am a nerd...)
but i doubt i'll stress about it as much. besides, i don't need some internship to tell me i'm smart...
that attitude wont last long.
oh well, but i guess being a little more lax wouldnt kill me. bu then again,the running around to do stuff was keeping my gut from expanding to much...

oh, and they held a wedding, and a tango competition at the same time! if any furs work at the atlanta hyatt, give them some major credit! (i kind of suspected a few people...but not without good evidence)
Some creepy senior from another school hit on me (he had been drunk) and i kind of went along with it for a while. i even helped him to his room. As for his hangover...i kind of let his own group worry about that.
but anyway, i just got off the bus an hour ago, and i'm thinking about my immediate future.
That being, that it is now my spring break.
I've got two days of sheer laziness that i am going to use to the fullest extent! I've got my tv and remote, my ps2 and psp, my mp3 player, and i've got enough food here to keep 5 furs alive for six months...so in theory it will all last until tomorrow :-P
its just kind of weird being lazy...i mean that its just weird for me.
maybe it's the universe's way of making me have a restful 4 months before i enter this whole new life thingy (refer to my I GOT IN journal if you don't already know)
I've still got science fair on wednsday, and i kno i'm going to kick some nerd butt! (even though i am a nerd...)
but i doubt i'll stress about it as much. besides, i don't need some internship to tell me i'm smart...
that attitude wont last long.
oh well, but i guess being a little more lax wouldnt kill me. bu then again,the running around to do stuff was keeping my gut from expanding to much...

my mother is giving me crap about how much my new school costs. and by the by, i got like 27 scholarships paying FOR me! She just wants to make me feel guilty for leaving. So she's complaining about paying something she dosent even need to pay for!
And she's not even filling out all of my paper work! i am. thats right, i'm filling out paprer work for my own education, imunization, and all of that junk!
(now dont think my mom is lazy or dosent care, but she never seems to notice when i have alot on my plate)
And the summer internship i'm applying for is hanging by a thread (i'll tell you all if i make it or not)
My early admissions thesis has been proven, but some local professurs are teatring it apart bit by bit until nothing is left but little modles of molecules (my thesis is kinda boring...pm me if you are actually interested.
the 'love of my life' is giving me even more crap about how i should be to her, and she just sprung an i was raped bomb on me yesterday and got pissed that i didnt drop everything to comfort her!
I'm only one wolf!
Ugh, and to top it off
My teachers that notice i am dealing with alot right now are giving me crap over how i should stay a modle student! I'm not a model anything...
