Hi everyone! I will be attending MFF this coming weekend and I hope to see you there.

Hi everyone. I hope you are all keeping safe and healthy during these horse-shirt times.

I've taken some of my newfound at-home time to (finally) re-design my online shop. All ready-to-wear Certified Tags are now listed alphabetically and individually instead of in batches. This will help me to keep things better organized and easily add the newest styles without much delay.

Obviously, this isn't the best time for folks to be spending needless money, so this isn't really an advertisement. If you ever wanted to take a look at each ready-to wear tag that I have in stock individually as a gallery these changes will also function toward that end. I'm also working on some new styles so I can be prepared for when it is safe to attend conventions once more.

Hi everyone!

It's been a while since I've posted here, so how 'bout some updates?

I've been living in my new home in Colorado for several months now. I just love it and can honestly say that I've never been happier. 2018 was a very tumultuous year, and I am quite happy to finally be settled in a place where I know I belong.

After a long period of thought followed by a break from commissions, I have decided to not take on any commissioned work for the foreseeable future - this includes Certified Tags. I am heavily involved with a new job/creative project, which has taken a lot of my time. I will, however, continue to attend conventions, make new ready-to-wear Certified Tags, and make art to share. I do think I will open for work again sometimes, but it will likely be very spontaneous!

My online store has also been closed for quite some time. I am going to be taking orders for ready-to-wear Certified Tags though my store from NOW until May 5th, when I will be closing again for a family trip an to attend BLFC. If you won't be attending any conventions that I will be appearing at, this is a great chance for you to buy some badges for me to ship out to you. There are many new styles added! The stock bars show the exact availability of what I have currently, so once a style sells out, it won't be back in stock until I re-open the shop after BLFC in late May.

Hello all!

It's been some time since I've been active, so I'd like to post a few updates on what I have planned for the rest of the year.

If you aren't someone who wants to read a long fluffy journal, here's the TLDR:

- Certified Tag Customs are on indefinite hiatus. No commissions are available for now.
- I do not currently have any commission slots for mail order or con pickup scheduled.
- Yes, they will be back eventually and I will announce when that happens. :)
- Ready-to-Wear Certified tags will be back up for sale online soon(ish).

If you'd like to hang around for more personal chat, read on...

For the last 8 years, Certified commissions have been the main source of my artistic output, and I need to step back and take a break for a bit. During this break, I will be re-structuring how I take orders, adjusting pricing, and re-writing subject guidelines. Making this decision was a rough one, as I know there are many people still waiting patiently to have their own badge. I will never take that for granted, and I feel in the end this break will help me to provide even better service and final product in the future.

To that end, I've gone ahead and upgraded my current equipment! New computer, new software, and a new tablet. I am currently attempting to master my new tablet and I'm finding that I need a lot of practice. I've been using my older one for almost a decade, so I'm a bit overwhelmed right now. Maybe if I feel brave, I'll post some of my struggles here for you to gawk at. :o

Also! I am preparing to move away from Ohio, and will be settling down in Colorado this fall. I anticipate some studio downtime, but hopefully I will be back up and running at full speed once all of that dust settles. Looking forward to a change.

This year has been a mix of awesome and difficult, as I've had some amazing things as well as some very emotionally trying things happen. During that time, I really appreciate everyone who's been awesome to work with and I've enjoyed seeing all of the visitors to my table at cons over the months.

I hope you'll stick around during this small lull, and I hope everything is awesome in YOUR life!
