My PC's motherboard is failing it seems (several friends helped me work out what the issue likely is). It's last bios update was released in 2014 so it's a pretty old bit of hardware. Unfortunately I cant afford to replace it on my own at the moment, but without my PC I can't work much.

PC keeps bluescreening, failing to boot from the boot drive because drives dissappear and reappear, when it does boot the windows explorer crashes, and the bios menu keeps glitching overlaying the advanced menu on the basic menu and becoming impossible to navigate to try and fix the boot issues.

I have added a fund to my throne to help me replace the MB with one compatiable with all my other hardware as a stopgap measure until I can afford a new PC. I'll be getting an MSI 970 GAMING mobo which i've found for about £99 + fast track shipping.

my commissions are also open but funds from those are always eaten up by rent and bills. I have a potential part time job lined up, just waiting to hear if I got it, but it'll be a month or two before I get any paycheck from that and I'm not comfortable making my outstanding commissioners wait that long if I do get it.

I can do small coms on my ipad in the meantime, like telegram stickers, but i struggle to do anything more in depth on there as it's also old and lacks the power CSP needs for bigger work files.

This is embarrassing to ask, but I really need some help to get out of a bit of debt I'm in.

I owe £864 because I missed an £80 council tax payment, so they demanded a year of council tax at once.

Unfortunately there was a situation with multiple delayed and lost letters making me miss the councils payment plan deadline, they passed it off to a debt collector so it's in the debt companies hands now and all i can do is pay their short term payment plan

I have a £216 per month payment plan for the next 4 months but with income as it is atm getting through is already a struggle.

I've re-made my coms website on a platform I feel more comfortable on. While it doesnt have any NSFW art on the site, it feels better knowing it's hosted by a platform that does allow it!

I've moved over to neocities, and completely re-coded my website from a template, so if there's anything funky with the layout that should be fix, let me know!! It should be responsive to lower screen sizes, but if viewed on firefox on mobile it has the original layout (not sure why yet).

Honestly I've been using it less and less except to dump art and run for a long while, and I genuinely say I feel a lot better for it having to see less hostility and dumbshittery from brainwashed and/or ignorant individuals and their views being pushed by Musk onto everyone's timelines.

Not only that but the constant worsening of the platform via generative AI training being baked in to eroding safety features (like making blocked accounts still able to see your posts) and lack of visibility from deboosting means my post there rarely got seen anyway. With less than 1/4 of the followers on bsky i already get far more interaction and commissions from folks who see me on bsky. Nothing irreplaceable holds me to twitter so it feels good to cut it out of my sphere~

sadly the last two months i've not been getting commissions until i do a discount, which tells me my prices are too high since it's an ongoing thing. So due to this, I've reduced my prices across most of my coms!

Things that have been reduced include: sketches, full colour coms, sketch pages, refsheets, body pillows
Other coms types havent been reduced as they weren't raised the last time i raised prices.

I still have the 'spend £100 on telegram stickers get a free extra telegram sticker' deal on forever!

I also added PNGTuber asset commissions!

Hey folks, I need some help. Y'all might know that back in May I injured my wrist on my dominant hand. I've been working through the pain but I'm realising if I don't take time off to rest my wrist I'm likely to do long term damage. It still hurts 90% of the time even months later and it's affected my ability to draw as quickly as I did before. Drawing is my job though, and while I have government benefits, they only cover half my monthly expenses.

A few weeks ago i injured my wrist on my drawing side (i think i strained a tendon or smth) and its been mostly ok after the first few days where it was really painful, but today it really hurts again. Any twisting motion is painful and i cant lift much. I have a wrist brace to wear but it doesnt do much because the painful thing is when the forearm twists and it only stops be bending my wrist not twisting my arm.

I know i shouldnt be drawing to let it heal so it doesnt become a permanent injury, but i gotta work because thats my only income :( I've already lost a month of income due to various reasons. Thankfully some friends have sent a bit to help keep me afloat but this month is still gonna wipe out my savings.

Hello folks, there's going to be a change to how I handle commissions.

As you probably know, right now I work on a 'first come, first served' basis. This currently results in slots filling quickly, and those in other time zones or who aren't around when slots open, missing out even if they're in this update channel. It also means I never end up posting about commissions opening to twitter or other sites, as slots are usually full within the first 24 hours from those in my telegram update channel.

To help try and make things a bit fairer, I'm changing how I accept commissions.

Next time I open, the form for commission ideas will be open for one week (7 days). After It closes I will pick the ones I most want to work on and send invoices for them and then the process will continue as they normally do from there. If you don't hear from me within a few days of the form closing, then your idea wasn't picked this time around, but you're more than welcome to send it again next time I open!

While this means that my telegram channel will no longer be alerted to coms opening 24 hours early, it still gives you a more reliable way to know when I'm open in case you miss it on social media or other sites, so consider joining it!
