I enjoy doing it and all but hot damn the people I work with are horrible.
That and I have NO time to draw cause I get up at 7am, do physical labour all day, come home and I'm exhuasted and only have enough energy to eat a little, do my job searching, then fall into bed.

super sorry for people who have artwork outstanding from me. (thats like... one YCH which is half done, a badge... and one and a half commissions for Rek. i praise your patience Rek omg you have no idea)

I FEEL SO DEAD OMG

Got 'encouraged' by my friends into buying a ticket for X Japan and Wembly. Which also includes a meet and greet. it's gonna be fucking rad ahhhh.

Saw VAMPS two nights in a row. both nights were absolutely amazing and mad and so much fun ah everyone needs a VAMPS gig experience. Though my throat is dead from shouting 'bang on stomp everybody', 'we are bloodsuckers' and 'sex blood rock n roll' so much.

also saw Alexandros two nights in a row and I can say I'm def now a fan of them, their music is so fun. not to mention their bassist is hot as fuck mmmmmmmmm. do want. as is their singer. ahhh.

they were all so sweet. singer kept telling us how much he loves england and was annoyed cause he he was like "I keep saying I love you and i love england and it's true but I can't say it enough it's not enough!!!" and the bassist kept saying how much he loves english food and how he doesn't get why lots of Japanese ppl say they don't like it, cause he thinks its amazing. they were both so sweet ah.

it's just been a great weekend and a real blast from the past, with all the jrock stuff and seeing all my old jrock gig-ing friends and old in jokes and ahhh. i've missed it all so much. it was my main community before the furry one. I really wanna get right back into the thick of it.

so yes home now but first day of work placement tomorrow so little rest for me. gonna spend the rest of today trying to recuperate before work tomorrow. cause my body feels like it's ready to snap in half and i've barely slept/eaten all weekend from a mix of anxiety and excitement. I'll do my best to get some art done tonight though!

So basically I'm on something called jobseekers allowance (where the government pays you per week when you're out of a job and looking)

as part of this I have to do mandatory work placement (aka work for free yay all work no pay) for 4 weeks to get more experience.

I've just been informed of my work schedual 9:30 am to 4:30 pm monday to friday for 4 weeks.

during this time I wont be able to draw as much as I usually do, only on weekends, so any outstanding commissions (aka Rek's stuff), patreon rewards, and YCH wins, will be completed at a slower rate.

So I was just gifted Manga Studio 5 (Pro) (thank you sweetie -blows kisses-)

And I have no idea how to use it. I'm trying it out and it's all looking amazing so far.

Basically, because I've now left university, the government no longer classes me as a dependant. Meaning my dad no longer get's council tax cuts and his CT would go up from £15 a month to something like £86 a month, and having no jobe/being on the dole, he can't afford that (also yes he is looking for a job has been for over a year and no one will hire him cause he was out of work for health reasons for so long)

This means, to keep out CT cut, I now have to sign on to job seekers (the daily grind of showing the government that you're applying for any and all jobs you could possibly do skills wise so they'll give you a weekly allowance thats well below the living wage)

In regards to art, this means I can't earn too much money from art, or they take me off benefits (even if i'm earning less than they give me) and my dads TC goes right back up and he can't afford that so he'd get kicked out of his home, and both of us would then be homeless.
Which is bad because Art supplemented me for so long but it's also not making enough per picture to be a living wage (it's also too unreliable).

Basically if I earn say £50. I get to keep £5 of that, and then £45 will be taken away from the allowance they give me each week. (say I get £80 a week, they take off £45, I then get £35) and yeh it means art would replace what they're giving me but if that happens too often I get taken off benefits.

Soooo, I'm trying not to take too many paid commissions/ych's right now. This will change after I get an actual regular job/wage and I'll try to take more again. but until then, you all might be waiting a while if you've been wanting a commission from me.

Would commissioners rather:
wait and see when i randomly open for like 1 slot,
OR
Be added to a waiting list with a 20% of commission price insurance fee (non-refundable) (so you don't pull out if you can help it and have the rest of the money ready when theres a slot for you) and then I'd work down the waiting list?

if that makes any sense? if you need clarification let me know cuase I think I'm terrible at explaining it in a short, concise way.

Uuuughhh my productivity levels have dropped so low...

I think it's cause, what with quitting uni, and a bunch of other stuff, and coming out as trans publicly and not getting any bad reactions... the relief has rushed me all at once and the stress has left me but i've been stressed for so long by body is like "ok now thats over lets get you some rest"

so now i'm constantly tired and unable to focus and nnnnnn. -melts-

i'll make myself get back up and running with art as soon as my body doesnt feel so drained.
