I set up a telegram channel to give updates on my art and commission openings! It'll work the same as my discord in terms of commission slots being announced at least 24 hours before I post them publicly.
Testing it for coms updates and sharing new posts as my discord server is always kinda silent so a method that doesnt prompt people to chat might make me feel better about discord always being quiet lmao. since i dont know how to encourage people to interact in my server :(

In the past three years, hundreds of fans have joined forces to raise nearly $75,000 for a range of progressive organizations. This year, we’re hoping to break $100,000.'

UPCOMING COMMISSION OPENING

Just thought I've give a bit of info on how i'm gonna handle re-opening for commissions.
I'm still struggling with some things, so in order to keep things lower stress, I'm going to only accept 5 commissions at a time for now.
So when I re-open coms, I'll have 5 slots for any kind of commission available. When those slots are full I'll close until I've mostly finished them.
that's 5 slots in total, not 5 per com type. Just to be clear.
I plan to open November 1st unless something happens that prevents it.

Thank you to the people who have given lovely comments, a few of them honestly made me cry, you're so kind. It makes me happy that how hard i work and my attempts to improve are visible to people
Someone mentioned it being hard to find my commission journals and I'd like to point out that I don't open commissions via journals! I'm closed at the moment but I'm usually open on a constant basis, so when there's my featured work on here showing a 'commissions open' pic, or my twitter username says 'coms open', i'm definitely open! And you can always check my Trello which also displays opening status if you're unsure!
Reminder that coms are only accepted by the form on my website (linked in my bio and featured journal and p much everywhere), and that DM/PM/Note systems on various websites, or IM's aren't used for commission stuff! Only email, because otherwise things get lost across multiple platforms. And even when I'm closed I'm happy to discuss commission things via email if you have any questions! (clubgalaxyart@gmail.com)
Another person mentioned being interested in mentorship/apprentice programs with me, and others about learning tips and tricks, and to be honest I'm a terrible teacher. I'm not sure I'd be much good at something like a mentorship program, but I'm always happy to give advice on specific topics (like how i lineart or shade something) or to redline drawings!
