General | Posted 2 years agoBeen a long time since I posted much of anything. I got some submissions that have been waiting to be shared. Just been dragging my feet on them as well as a lot of other stuff. Life's been a bit complicated recently, overwhelming at times. But I wanted to take the time to explain some of what's going on.
First, I've started a mental health procedure. Had some massive burnout and depressive symptoms that I got checked out. Even got hospitalized for a while after answering some specific suicide related questions to the docs. They rushed me right into the facility and gave me very little time to react at first. But I can say the experience there was a positive one, I at least got some time free from work and a good start on taking proper care of myself. Work remains a hassle, as well as events outside. But I'm dealing with them, and myself, in a much better way.
Secondly, I think it's time I start renovating my gallery a bit. As I intend to post new things, I can't help but look back at older ones and just sort of... cringe. Different times, different frames of mind. It's not that I outright hate any of my older stuff, I'll most likely save everything to my own personal offline collection. But there's a lot in here that's just outdated, ideas and concepts that have been retconned or overwritten. So if you happen to have some faves or anything that go missing from my gallery, that's probably why.
That's all I got to say for now. Ya'll be good, or whatever it is ya do.

I'm not much for the holiday spirit, but it would be shameful of anyone to pass up a mother and child in need during this time of year, or any time for that matter. General | Posted 7 years agoMan, these things have become scarce, huh? But I felt like taking some time to update a lil bit. So, cool things that have happened recently. After a long three months or so being jobless, I'm now a happy Sam's Club employee. The job is active and there's a lot to do, but it's simple stuff, and being a simpleton it fits me just right~ In addition, one of my best friends moved back to my town and is living with us again. So with his contributions to the rent and my income, finacial stability just increased a buttload. There are other cool things in the future I'm anticipating, the biggest of which is the chance to finally meet a certain lovely wonderful precious lady I know. Can't wait. And that's about all that's happenin' at the moment. How are you dudes?
Day of Rememberance
General | Posted 8 years agoMy friends. It's been a quite a long fucking time since I did one of these, right? A year ago? Hell, you probably aren't even seeing this. But I felt obligated to make a statement here, in no small part due to my... well, calling her a friend isn't quite enough to describe what she truly means to me, AshleyFableBlack. The point of this journal is to bring attention to the fact that this, Nov. 20th, is the Transgender Day of Rememberance. It's a day for all those who identify as transexual, or friends and family thereof, to pay respects to the ones they've lost to acts of violence. It's no secret, though everyone may not acknowledge it, transfolk are being opressed, threatened, and terrorized daily across the globe. It's become a major point of focus here in the US as well, what with the recent change of asshole in the White House. Of course, this isn't anything new, nor is it only the transgendered citizens that are being antagonized. Gays, lesbians, bisexuals, we're all being targetted. People are still afraid and spiteful to things they don't understand.
Normally I try to bring you guys something positive, some kind of fun happy upbeat message or sexual adventure. But the truth is guys, we're fucked unless something changes. Cuz the people who want us to suffer for being WHO we are, NOT WHAT, but WHO, they don't intend to stop. And thanks to the current "esteemed" goverment administration of our nation, they have the advantage over us. I can imagine a few of you guys now thinking, "but Masa, you've never cared or mentioned any thing about this stuff before, why start now?" Because better late than never, better now while there's time to make a difference than not at all. I've always believed in justice, helping people in small ways to inspire them to help others, making the whole world better as a result, doing what's right, not for some petty instant reward, but because the act of doing it is it's own reward. So with all the negativity that I've mentioned here, I want to bring you guys something you can look up to. Something to help the rest of the downtrodden and harassed, to empower and inspire them. I want you guys to fight for what's right. So I bring these words of my own design to you.
Carry on until the fighting's done,
Till the dark has passed, and the new day's begun,
We must never falter, we must never run,
For in Love's name, the day must be won,
With care and faith, these words take heed,
When evil spreads it's callous seed,
Our bodies may break, our vessels may bleed,
But our hearts will provide the strength we need,
Now matter how great our foes' pride,
I am immortal by your side,
Together we'll stand before the tide,
And in triumph we all shall stride,
When the struggle is fiercest, it's you I'll think of,
Until the night's curtain is lifted from above,

1 - Masamune was initially created as my first Second Life avatar, "Masamune Zenith" being the account name I used at the time. The reason it is no longer used is because it was created before the days Second Life didn't require a subscription, and when my time ran out I could no longer get the account back. Although I'm pretty sure it still exists.
2 - The original name of that Second Life account was going to be Musashi Columbo, which would've ended up being his name.
3 - Masamune was originally going to be blonde haired, wearing a brown leather trench coat and jeans, and wielding a crazy Chinese style halberd.
4 - He also used to have super powers as a primary feature of his character, being able to control lightning and wind. This still exists, but it's heavily downplayed in favor of his gunslinger skills.
5 - Masamune has fallen in love a few times, though only ever confessed his love once. After his girlfriend died saving him he fears ever doing it again, believing that karma would punish him for his past misdeeds and take the life of his loved one.
6 - He lives in an apartment just above his motorcycle shop in the same building.
7 - He's made acquaintances of many different people in his former homeland of Japan as well as America. As a result he can speak several languages including English, Japanese, Chinese, and Spanish.

In my lifetime I have owned a SNES, Sega Genesis, Gameboy Pocket, N64, original Playstation, PS2, original Xbox, Gamecube, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS and a couple PCs.
5. Your favorite genre(s)?
Almost any kind of action game, mostly shooters, and adventure games like Elder Scrolls and Zeldas.
6. Favorite game character(s)?
Oh, man. This list could go on for a while, but I'll narrow it down to these guys. Mega Man X, Megaman Volnutt (or Trigger), Mario, Kirby, Link, and Date Masamune from Sengoku Basara (or Devil Kings).
7. Which element(s) in games is/are most important for you (story, graphic etc.)
The most important thing to any video game is fun factor, plain and simple! What makes a game fun depends a lot on what kind of game it is, though. So it's not as simple as listing one aspect of it. But for me it's mostly about player freedom, letting the gamer play the game the way they want. If it's an adventure game, having a well written story is a great start, but it's even better when you let the gamer decide which direction and to what outcome that story flows. If you've got yourself a multiplayer action game that doesn't emphasize the story, character customization is the way to go. The more a game let's the player decide how they look, how they work, and how much they'll let them play to their own style, the better.

It's fun for a short while, but it gets old sooner or later.

General | Posted 10 years agoSo I guess it's about time I make a new journal, huh? Anyway, I got a small problem. When I look at my FA submissions, I can't see the Check All or Invert Selection buttons. Now, I typically get lots of submissions at once. And clicking every single one of them sumbitches is no bueno. So is there a way I can fix this maybe?
