Wompatuck State Park Furmeet - July 15th 2021

We promise you that the Mass Fur Bowl will return, likely early fall. Right now myself, Gale, and the other admins have been busy with getting caught back up on life and our schedules have been jam packed.
But we want to host some outdoor meetups for the interim, including a few events on weeknights. So for our first event, we want to host an event at Wompatuck State Park in Hingham, MA. https://www.mass.gov/locations/womp.....uck-state-park
This is a massive state park, so we ask everyone to park at and meet up at the Visitor Center! There are picnic tables in this area so if folks want to bring their own food and eat together that's fine, just know that Alcohol is strongly prohibited in MA state parks and we will not tolerate any at our furmeet.
People should bring frisbees or lawn games or the like if folks want to use some of the grassy areas to play.
Fursuiters are welcome, but please note that you can only use the bathrooms to change into under armor, do not use them to get into your suit, plan to change into your suit in your car.
Gale will bring her camera to get some photos of fursuiters on the nearby easy nature trail.
Please make sure to wear sunscreen and bug spray for when you are out of suit and be careful of overgrowth and tall grasses due to ticks.
Important: If you are not fully vaccinated we ask you wear a mask any time you cannot be distant from others or go inside the Visitor's Center!
Hopefully this is something we can do a few more of on various weeknights and weekends while we get ready to bring the furbowl back!

Happy New Years everyone!
It's 2020 and so it's time for another year of furbowls! Our FA page isn't as active any more but we will still try to keep the profile updated with upcoming dates.
The first furbowl of 2020 will be this Saturday, January 4th so hopefully we see some of you there!

PROVINCETOWN CARNIVAL PARADE 2018

Hey everyone its that time of year again in August where we plan for the Ptown Carnival Parade!
The Parade is Thursday August 16th, 2018. Note that it is a Thursday.

Fuse and Kar are the lead organizers on this event and will be your points of contact for the event.
WE ASK THAT THE PARADE BE A FURSUITER ONLY EVENT. We will likely have one or two nonsuiters to join us and act as handlers/camera people. The pizza dinner meetup and bonfire afterwards is open to everyone. Walking in the parade is for suiters only because we want to ensure the only people using the water and taking breaks in the vehicle are suiters since they will really need it. We ask nonsuiters to watch the parade as it's a wonderful event to watch. We will be adding everyone interested in going to a Telegram group so you can plan to watch together if you are watching the parade.
If you are participating in the parade, parking can be found at the JEROME SMITH Parking lot Just off of SHANK PAINTER ROAD.
If you need a ride to the starting point of the parade from the parking lot, you must be at the parking lot no later than NOON. We will shuttle people over at noon, and will not be waiting for anyone that's late.
THIS IS A LONG HOT EVENT. WE WILL HAVE WATER BUT PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY. WATER OR GATORADE DONATIONS ARE ALSO VERY MUCH APPRECIATED.
At the end of the parade we welcome you to clean up and meet us at the Provincetown House of Pizza for dinner and then the beach for a bonfire. (Exact beach location to be determined)
If you can afford it any donations sent to lonewolf800[at]gmail.com will help us pay for the water, bonfire permits, bonfire supplies, parade entry fee and other costs for this event. If everyone just sent $5-$10 it would cover the costs.

There is a major difference this year. Due to work schedules and real life conflicts neither Fuse nor Nexus will be able to make it to the event. But fear not! Firefox, Dana, and Kar have all stepped up to the plate to run the event day of.

There has been a major change to the event. The event will no longer have the first portion at the bowling alley and instead will start at the hotel earlier with additional events. PLEASE LINK ON THE LINK BELOW TO SEE THE DETAILS OF THE UPDATE

Hey everyone!
Do to some miscommunication the bowling alley we normally attend for our events is unable to facilitate us this Saturday. We are as upset as you are but understand mistakes happen and this will not affect our relationship with them moving forward.
But we’re still going to throw one hell of a party this weekend! First and foremost, WE ARE REDUCING THE REGISTRATION FEE TO $30. If you have already paid on paypal we will refund you in cash at the event. If you are paying at the door please try to bring exact change and you must bring CASH. We will not be able to take card. Only cash or paypal.
You may pay in advance on paypal all the way up until the event by sending $30 to lonewolf800@gmail.com.

The new event schedule for Saturday Feb 25th will be...
Noon-1pm
Registration
Come pickup your badge for the event in the Ballroom. There will be a line for pre-reg and a line for on site reg. We encourage you to come grab your badge during this hour but you may grab your badge anytime during the evening at the check in table as well.
1pm-4pm
Games in the Ballroom
Come play Twister, giant Tic Tac Toe, table top games and have fun with fursutiers and non suiters alike. Please do not play too close to the AV equipment as we want to avoid any damages. You need your badge to enter.
Pool Party
Bring your swim trunks and bathing suits and join us for a pool party! We’ll provide a few in pool games as well. Be mindful of the pool rules or other hotel guests. You need your hotel room key to enter the pool area.
4:30pm-6pm
Pizza Party
Included in your registration is access to the pizza party. Come enjoy pizza, snacks, cookies and soda and chat with your friends. You need your badge to enter.
6pm-11pm
Rave
Come dance your tails off in the ballroom to some great local furry DJs. You need your badge to enter.
At 11pm anyone willing we will need help breaking down and cleaing up if you’re available.
We apologize for the change of schedule, we were just as surprised as you were. We hope you’ll still enjoy the event and make the best of it, it should be an absolutely incredible time!
If you have a hotel room for the event, consider calling the hotel this week to request an early check in. Normally check-in for the hotel is 3pm but they are aware folks for our event want to check in around noon ideally. They will try to facilitate as many people as they can but we ask folks try not to show up at the hotel too much earlier than noon.
