why hasent anybody made a comprehensive documentary on the Furry community? one where somebody goes to conventions and interviews people like Narse and brings in the opinions of all view points, both for and against the fandom and the many aspects of it? i've seen movies where Furries are included (along with all the TV shows listed on the wikipedia page on the Furry fandom XD) but yeah, not an official, informative BBC style documentary on the fandom. i find this odd considering how long furries have been around (early 80s if you go back to the roots, event though the fandom was not what it is today until the mid 90s) so yeah, lots of curious people out there XD

somebody needs to make a non-biased documentary on the fandom, cuz yeah, Furries are too reclusive for their own good, hardly ever talking to survey takers or the media, and the ones that do are typically examples of all the Furry stereotypes (which i have proven to be 95% true of the whole fandom) but yeah, somebody needs to be interviewed who isnt in their fursonia, tell average people who they are and why they should be taken seriously. regular people are gonna freaked out if you try saying "accept me" while in your fursuit RIGHT AWAY, regular people need to be made comfortable with what the fandom is before you show them your fursuits/yiff art XD and yeah a documentary would be perfect! ease people in XD

i would love to interview Narse then the guy who made Godhatesfurs.com XD have a side by side scene where i ask them the same questions and play their responses side by side. obviously not in the same room cuz yeah, there is no coexisting in the Furry community if you dont agree lol which is surprisingly human actually...but yeah, this needs to be done! but i need help XD need a camera, and lotssa money for travel and such lol so unfortunately the chances of me doing it are slim...shame XD

ever since i first heard about Weasyl last month i've been noticing a mass exodus on FA of people switching over to the sleek new site XD which i have to admit, is definitely appealing =D

however most of the people switching are people who are
A: trying to expand their commission sales market (and reputation too, getting better exposure)
B: trying to escape all the drama and general douchebaggery that the Furry Community is so well known for, at least on FA
or C: trying to expand their own unique fandom on another site

all 3 types are valid reasons to switch =D but for the people leaving to escape all the shit that goes on here, i don't think you'll be escaping much anymore...considering just about everybody HERE are now making accounts on Weasyl O.O and with that exodus all the popufur drama and such goes with it >.<

that is why, even though i want to spread my plane porn to another site (a type C reason to switch >:3) AND want to escape all the shit on this site (type B) i will stay on FA until i get banned or something, cuz i'm sure all the people who are switching will eventually make Weasyl their main site once it really starts to get going, and unfortunately it'll probably turn into the new FA; a site full of Furry D-bags who breed drama and take pleasure in annoying/trolling other people simply cuz they feel entitled to special treatment cuz their art is good.

if i ever make a move away from FA it'll probably be to a public access site, like E621 or Rule 34, one where special interests aren't really as big as they are on FA. all type B people wanting to leave FA should also consider those two sites before switching to Weasyl

OK, after some thinking i've decided to upload all of my MSpaint porn sketches to FA to my scraps gallery, cuz i haven't uploaded anything since June and figured crappy Paint sketches would be better than nothing

all these sketches were originally going to become actual pencil drawings (sort of as a pre-paper reference) but yeah...moving in with my Grandma in July and then going off to college in August kinda prevented me from drawing any of them >.<

but i have continued sketching on MSpaint when i have the privacy, and even though they might not be as realistic as my traditional pics, they're still VERY fappable ;)

if you're a fan of living airplanes you've probably already heard of Ot Vinta, the Russian animated movie involving living airplanes that was just recently released on DVD earlier this year =D but after downloading a English subtitled version from a Russian torrent site, i realized that there were no English subtitled versions of this movie on youtube...so since the format of the movie i got from the torrent site wouldn't let me keep the subtitles in outside of VLC media player...i decided to add all the subtitles in myself using Movie Maker =D

and after a solid week of working i finally managed to upload the whole movie to youtube on 2 parts, all with English subtitles so you can actually understand the film (which is really good despite the bad animation XD)

OK, not all of you have been doing this but still, this needs addressing. i am one of those few artists who prefer to get comments rather than faves, and if you comment its a lot nicer to actually say something rather than just put an emote or two XD my art SURVIVES off feedback, and non-verbal comments dont really help XD faves are nice but they dont say anything either. i put a lot of work into my porn, so its nice to get some verbal feedback from time to time! XD im glad you guys like my art but please, make an effort to actually say something rather than just an emote comment XD
