Posted 8 years agoWho would be interested in watching a tabletop RPG stream? thinking Pathfinder or Dungeons & Dragons, maybe some Call of Cthulhu, stuff like that.

I need input: what should I write?
Posted 9 years agoSo I have been thinking of taking up writing again, but this time I don't want to just write weird fetish pornography. I wanted to do something different, and I've got a few good ideas on what I would be doing. This project would be the single biggest undertaking I have ever done, and will likely undergo quite a few changes before anything is finalized, and even after I've got the story down, it is highly likely to undergo several edits before I'm through with it. Here is what I have so far as far as inspiration
Characters: SO! I'm reviving a few older characters of mine, and bringing in some heavy inspiration from characters I've made in tabletop RPGs such as dungeons and dragons, pathfinder and dark heresy. The character pool I have to draw from is pretty decent, but I'm open to, and in fact encourage cameo appearances from a few friends.
World: I have a few ideas here, and this is where I need the post input. I am torn between 3 worlds. the EXTREME basic story line(remember, this is subject to change) involves a cleric on pilgrimage, a search for said cleric by an old friend, the hiring of a mercenary to assist in finding her all while shit may or may not be going down. I'm thinking of telling a chapter or two in each character's perspective, and then having the characters slowly meet up all throughout the story until everyone is together at the end, when the final showdown can take place.
- Idea 1: a space opera involving travel between several different planets and an inquisition-like order playing the role of main villains
- Idea 2: a more classic story taking place in a more medieval setting
- Idea 3: More of a steampunk inspired world, not my first choice but certainly an option
the world/setting is where I'm stuck, I've got most of the rest down. What do you guys think?

MFF and Anthrocon
Posted 10 years agoI didn't make it to MFF after all, but not due to my suit being finished. It needs more work, but is perfectly usable right now. I skipped out on MFF because it wouldn't have been responsible for me to go. I could have afforded it yeah, but not if I wanted to get work done on my car and around the house... sooooo I have set my sights on Anthrocon this time. I have already pre-registered, so I absolutely WILL be goning! I hope to see you all there!
Working on the suit finally
Posted 10 years agoSo far so good on the head, I've tested it with a few different style eyes, and I'm torn between canvas or buckram cloth. I have at least decided on what character I will be making, and I have decided on one of my more unknown characters, Tina Cassidy! Tina is a mute albino fennec fox, which does present the issue of how to make red eyes not look creepy... I'll do my best. Hope to see you all at MFF this year!
Looking to commission a few pictures
Posted 11 years agoI'm looking to get some of my characters done, but not as full ref sheets. I have a few main characters I play as, and naturally i've either aquired or created side characters to go along with them. I'm looking to have those side characters drawn by a variety of artists, nothing special, just basic colors. hell, a colored sketch would even be cool.
THESE WILL BE CLEAN PICTURES... mostly... tasteful nudity is allowed. I may get a few naughty pics in the future, but right now just looking for PG (or PG13 )
If you are interested, feel free to note me and we can discuss payment. if you know someone in need of commissions, feel free to leave a comment.
CHARACTERS:
Justin: open. reference: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4218155/ (he is the green one)
Kitsep: done.
Morgan: open. reference: in progress
Kale: open. no reference exists
Fergus: open . no reference exists
Bert: open. no reference exists
Justin is 6' 2" tall, and is an "acid" fox. not really much else to say, picture is a spot on representation
Kitsep, we've seen too much of him already x3 no need for more yet
Morgan: 11 inch tall pink fennec fox. she has a tribal tattoo on her back and tons of piercings in her ears. think of a mid 1990's punk
Kale, brother of Morgan, same height and weight, but is the usual tan/brown fennec colors. he is a mechanic, using his size as an advantage to get into smaller areas and do repairs easier than a full sized anthro could.
Fergus. Fox, Irish, whats not to like? standing at 5' 6" tall he is about average for a fox. build is really lanky and he gets into trouble a lot because of his foul mouth and rather... blunt nature
Bert. 7' 5" tall black and white crux, not exactly insane, but he plays it off really well when he wants to get his way

MFF was a blast! also, FURSUIT!
Posted 11 years agoI came, I saw, I had fun! I didn't get the chance to really do much, but most of that was due to poor planning >w< next year its going to be different, and I WILL have a fursuit! I made up my mind XD
I met a few new friends though, Luca Fox and a few others that I was lucky enough to hang out with. I met one or two Crux characters as well, but alas, I didn't really have time to try and make friends with them, plus I think they were a bit busy. I got a picture or two of some fursuits, among the best was the amazing Crux suit by Freya-Crescent and the ever awesome spaceweasel2306. Luca's fursuit was freeking adorable as well.
Next year I will have to try and plan better, hopefully I will be able to catch Crescent and Glitch again because they seemed pretty cool. Luca, I'm going to have to practice my smash bros XD I'm coming for you :P and Shiloh, we -have- to hang out again next year, drinks are on me!
As for the fursuit, I have tried (and failed) a few times to do a suit, mostly failing due to procrastination. I'm also pretty scared that I will put a ton of work into it and end up making a bad suit. The best answer that I can think of is to pay for the suit, which means I won't be my Crux at next year's MFF, that one I am going to have to work on some other time. I'm going to have Kitsep made for MFF 2015! I'm pretty sure who I'm going to have do it as well, just have to talk with her about pricing.
Anyway, I'm going to avoid putting up the pictures I took, my camera sucked and my phone has a hard time focusing. Next year though, next year I will come prepared >:3

This one is for Jimmy
Posted 11 years agoMy cousin, someone I grew up in the same house with until i was 14, someone I considered my brother, committed suicide early tuesday morning for unknown reasons. I'm sure going to miss him. We were pretty close at the beginning, although i do admit in recent years we sort of drifted apart. He was only a month or so younger than me, and recently celebrated his 21st birthday. The reason I write all this is beyond me, I guess I just want to get my feelings off my chest. I don't know. It hurts man, knowing I will never see him again. I'm sure many of you have experienced similar situations, and I never really understood how it felt to have someone so close take their own life. Sure, I expressed my sympathy to those who went through this, but I never truly understood the pain. Now I am at a loss for what to do. I am attending his wake today, I will be spending time with his closest friends and his grieving family. I can only imagine what his mother must feel, or god forbid what his twin sister is going through. How can I say I hurt when they hurt so much more? I almost feel selfish admitting my pain.
Everything has been shaken from the very foundation. Once estranged family members are re-uniting, grudges are being forgiven or at least set aside, even people who never met Jimmy are showing how much they care. I am glad that everyone is getting along so well, but it saddens me that it is because of these terrible circumstances. If only I knew what to do.
The title of this journal may have seemed a bit silly up to this point. "This one is for Jimmy", but here is my reasoning.
I recently bought a station wagon from 1984. Back then, certain vehicles had the ability to roll down the rear window (a feature usually omitted on current vehicles due to exhaust asphyxiation hazards) This one had that ability as well, but the window was stuck down, and only recently was I able to get it to roll back up. Plastered across the top of the window in elegant white letters was the phrase "This one is for Jimmy". I had planned to remove the words, but now I think I will keep them. It isn't much of a tribute, that phrase plastered on the back of a rusty old wagon, but its the best I can do.

MEET KITSEP
Posted 12 years agoso it occurred to me, i never introduced my character, kitsep. yeah, most of you know who he is, but i never actually introduced him, he was just sort of there. i decided to stretch out my writing muscles, having spent the better part of a year writing nothing at all. i know it isn't much, but here is a small, two paragraph introduction :3
you see a small fox in the distance, and as you get closer you can see he is wearing nothing at all. thin, petite, and looking somewhat lost, he seems to be wandering aimlessly, a leash dragging along the ground behind him. as you approach he looks up at you with a quizzical look in his eyes, those big blue orbs having just a faint hint of longing in them. he can't be over 4 feet tall, probably even less, somewhere around 3 foot 9 inches if you had to estimate. clearly this is someone's pet, made obvious by the collar around his neck, and the leash clipped to it. you reach down to inspect the fox's name tag, causing the fox to let out a slight whimper and take a step back. the little thing is as of yet unaware if you are friendly, or someone to fear. you reach again, and this time the fox does not retreat, instead he is watching you carefully as you gently cup the name tag. the only word inscribed is "Kitsep" and you can probably safely assume that is his name.
the fox says nothing, now regarding you as less of a threat and more of a curiosity. as you stand there looking down at him, he leans in and tentatively sniffs at you, his rather large fluffy tail swaying to and fro. you place a hand on his head, suddenly realizing just how soft the fox's fur is, luxurious and almost shining, this little one must take quite some pride in his pelt, grooming it to the point of immaculate perfection. satisfied you are not a threat, Kitsep shyly opens his muzzle, folding his ears back as you hear a soft "h-hello" escape his slender muzzle. his dainty paws are clasped behind his back as he once again looks up at you with his big, blue eyes, waiting for your response.
