I'll make things short. I'm taking a C++ programming class that's really kicking my butt x.x; I could really use some help, if anyone is willing to assist me with it.
It's not so much the concepts as it is the homework. If anyone could help me out, it would be truly appreciated!

Hello everyone, how are things going?
I'm doing pretty good in school! I'm just tackling a few things on my plate including bad bouts of insomnia. I'm headed to my doctor's office tomorrow to get it checked out (Plus going to see about getting switched back to a previous medication I was on. This current medication I have reason to believe is why I haven't been able to sleep very well).
I also had a job interview with retailer Meijer, recently. I've been selected for their overnight stocking position, beginning April 3rd! I'm pretty excited about this. It likely will lead to a full-time position, and hopefully if it's anything like my previous stocking experience at Walmart, I'll feel a lot more calm and at ease, not to mention a bit better off money-wise. It's slow and gradual change, but any change is better than what I've been going through. Or at least--more like returning to a previous state of things (regressing) due to the familiarity of the work environment. I'm just stressed. It's been tough, and I apologise to those reading this for my lack of communication, or not being around, or taking it out on people. It's no excuse, but I'm grateful for those who continue to support me and stand by me. I plan to continue my artwork shortly after I get things sorted out. ^^

Goodbye, 2016, Hello 2017!

2016 was a HUGE year in terms of changes @.@; Almost TOO much for me to even bear.
From meeting with a good friend in January and helping him back on his feet, to computer repairs, to meeting with  luigi-vaporeon and my friend  ninja-mei,  flygon25,  funkatronicdingus, and  bioblood in May, to losing my job in July, to rebuilding my life at T.J.Maxx, this year has been HUGE. LOTS of changes! But that's how things go, isn't it? We approach each year with great expectations, and some good happens, some bad happens. All in all, it was a huge year, regardless of what happened. I learned a LOT... I grew as a person a LOT... and 2017 I'm going to approach with the same mindset of making myself a better individual.

I'm hoping like the year before me to make this year a special and meaningful one... something without fear, something without regret, and something with promise. I want to grow to live a life of happiness, and to make those around me happy. I hope that in my wanting to do so, that I can encourage others to do the same, and that we can grow and be successful in the lives we live. That being said, I do have some silly goals for myself in this coming year that I would like to see happen:
Get A New Computer!! Yup. I promised myself I would! I never did! XD I instead revived my extinct laptop that dwelled under my bed for a year and a half because I broke it in 2015 >3>;; I rage-quit on it when it was having severe issues. And now...it works like a charm :'3 Bless. That being said, I need a more up-to-date machine...something that can prepare me for what lies ahead in my potential college career.
Get A Better Paying Job!! Okay okay--T.J. Maxx DOES pay me decently enough...but I need more money ^^; Stuff is getting expensive, sometimes putting me into stressful "omg am I going to even get by this month" situations. So I need a more substantial financial backbone. Hopefully Meijer's opening this year will present me with something. Or perhaps GameStop will hire me full time and allow me to work there? Or perhaps something will present itself at T.J. Maxx that surprises me? Maybe even go back to overnights at Walmart if they'll hire me back? So many possibilities... I just hope I can find something!
PLAY MORE GAMES!! That's right--game more! I lost my 3DS AND DS games, and STILL haven't found them! They've been missing now for almost three months and I have no idea where I put them! DX Halp! Despite that, I want to broaden my horizons and game a bit more, maybe it might help me relax.
Draw More! I finally started drawing digitally, WOOHOO!! Childhood dream one of like, five, accomplished! NOW just to finish the rest xD But in all honesty...2016 was huge for improvements in my artwork. I studied a lot of Disney artwork to help me, and I got an iPad Pro 13", which was the BIGGEST help for me EVER. Totally has been worth ALL the money I invested in it xD
Aside from that, I hope to find happiness in this next year n.n I hope to focus on a few OC's as well, artwork-wise, provided I can afford it. I made many new friends in this year too, so here's hoping the friends I did make I can strengthen friendships with, and make 2017 a year worth remembering <3

An Eevee Love Story

To all my Canadian friends and watchers, whom all I appreciate, I wish you all a happy Thanksgiving ^^
I hope your day went well, and if you celebrated, I hope you got to enjoy it with those you care about. ^^
I have quite a few family members who are Canadian, and although I myself am not Canadian, my great grandmother came from Québec, from my understanding. My full blood sister, and my cousin were born in Canada, and my very influential aunt (England-born) who married into our family, lived there for nearly all her life. Recently, cousins of mine have married into Canadian families, and so you could say that Canada has a special place in my heart ^^ To my neighbours just outside my window (I live on the border quite literally), happy Thanksgiving ^^

Hallos! ^^ Just wanting to give everyone an update.
Thank you all very much for your patience. It's been more than needed, and more than appreciated, and I am more than thankful for what everyone has done for me!
Things have been pretty chaotic around here, the month of August all on its own should spell out "Hi, I'm that time of the year again." I had license plate renewals, new tags for my license plate, car insurance due, loan payments, medical bills up the wazoo, it's just been a mess altogether ^^; daughter starts school in September, so we've been making plans for her walk to and from school. I'm still waiting on a confirmation as to whether or not I'll be receiving the fulltime position at TJMaxx as opposed to just a part-time salesfloor associate. I still don't have medical insurance, and 45-days is an awful long time to wait for any kind of a "yes" or "no." I've been off my meds now for over a month, and it's just awful, I've never felt this awful since I don't know when--certainly not before my meds, it wasn't nearly as bad before then...or at least, didn't feel that way.
Art hasn't been fast because I've had these things going on. I do intend to resume once the rest of the confusion gets sorted out. It's stressful, and I will admit there might go a day I honestly just gotta take it easy, but I do owe, therefore I will give the artwork that I owe for the money paid. The chaos of things around me is just too much. I've been afraid to spend even a few bucks for myself for fear that another bill is coming down, another payment is due, anything that would otherwise warrant me a reason not to even bother doing anything. But it is what it is, it's not something anyone can do about it--I just gotta sort stuff out and get on with it. I can post doodles and things I've done on the side to keep my page fresh, but I do worry that by doing that it might upset others who are waiting for their artwork. I might post one once in a while between commissions though. ^^
Thank you for your patience everyone. Wish me luck as I try to figure things out, and pray for me. ;^; Prayers do help, it's gotten me to this point at least. I just need a bit more sense of things before I think I can do things on my own with more confidence. Thanks everyone!

Wow, another year having come and gone! It's been a wild ride folks, hard to believe it's here again, but here it is!! Thank you all for putting up with me all these years xD and here's to another year!

Heya everyone... Yeah it's just as the title reads. I got fired... It was for lateness, the managers said. I guess I must have clocked in late a few times, but that's the bad news. I'm already looking into getting another job, but yeah--it's going to be really stressful on my end. And car repairs and a big fat medical bill I now currently have no income for. I'm not sure what to do at this point...but I did apply for Unemployment...which will take 4-6 weeks and I was told even then I "might not get it on the first try." Medical bills I'm not sure can wait...and neither can the car. I already have my medical on a payment plan, but I'm going to be flat broke! I'm kind of scared.......

I'm honestly torn between the two! @.@;;

I gave hybrids a thought... But in the end, it's just safer I stick with one or the other ^^;

What do you guys think? Be truthfully honest xD; Do you think could make a good Vaporeon? Or should I stick with the old Umbreon?

UPDATE: I am not looking to creating a hybrid. Just either a Vaporeon or an Umbreon.

I'm in limbo with a somewhat serious question. For fifteen years, the world has known me to be an Umbreon. What I'm facing now is a difficult decision for me to make, as it would cause lots of confusion and uncertainty in others. I'm in the process of discovering myself, and in doing so have come to realizing that I am more closely drawn to Vaporeon than Umbreon. Likewise, =many= things in my personal life, both online and otherwise, have pointed to water being my element (beside my sun sign, which is earth), and despite my deep love for the moon, I've also had a great affinity towards water as well (I have fifteen Vaporeon OC's alone, if that needs to be asked). But I ask this question because it means a great deal to me how my friends feel, so instead of me just upping and changing things, I need to ask you all this question. Should I, or shouldn't I, change myself into a Vaporeon? It's been on my mind for over a year now ;^; Thanks!

Alright! So! Here we go! 2015 was an interesting year, made some progress in some areas, felt a bit lacking in others. That's how it goes though, doesn't it? We make so much progress in one area that we feel as though we've not made much progress at all, when really we're just suffering from tunnel vision and failing to see all the wonderful things around us we've managed to do in such little time. I think if we all took a moment to reflect on this past year, we would see that we've managed to accomplish a whole lot more than what we give ourselves credit for. Every step is a step forward. Even moving a step back allows you to take two steps forward, and in being sensitive and sensible about the things we do, we are making ourselves a better person all the time.
2015 marks the end of another year for me, and opening up is 2016, which will be my 30th birthday, come August. In this amount of time, I'd really like to make progress in every aspect of my life, from artwork to spending time with my family, to making improvements in my own work life and making that next advancement to promotion. By 2016's end, I plan to make promotion be my new year resolution: I want to improve, and I want to show others that I do know what I'm doing, and that I can do more than what can be seen. I stumble and fall, and at times I might hurt myself along the way, but in doing so I become a better person, that I learn how to fall and how to stand, how to wait and how to keep moving onwards. I pray that I can be a successful person, and that my efforts will bring me to where I want to be. I also pray for the success of my friends and my loved ones, that they too can find joy and happiness in their lives, and success in their areas of interest.
For 2016, I would also like to make improvements on my digital artwork, and make digital a new possibility and new field for me. This does not mean the end of my traditional paper-and-pen, nor does it mean out altogether. I want to find a balance between the two. Digital has always been a field for me I've wanted to explore, and by taking those big steps, I hope to make artwork that will bring happiness and joy to those around me, or pieces that others can "feel." That is what I wish for.
I'd also like to be able to manage my budget a bit better. Every time I stop to get something for myself, a bad situation poses a threat to my bank account, and I nearly end up beyond broke. This year, I plan to be more frugal, and control my spending habits a bit more. Regardless, and despite this, there are a few things I will be saving my money for. These things are very high-cost items, but in light of what I plan to use them for, I know they will be put to good use, and being put to good use is as good a reason as any to consider as an option, and as an investment.
I would like to save up for the following things in this next year:
-A new desktop computer (I plan to build this myself. I'm very pro-independent for building computer machines.)
-A new cellphone. I want to move into the Smartphone field, since times are changing, I find myself relying on my iPod Touch more and more, and the convenience of a Smartphone has never seemed better. My phone is also wearing out on me, and has some difficulties in the technical area of things.
-A Wacom Cintiq, possibly 13HD. This tool would ultimately be my biggest investment, and something I've wanted for years. Drawing would be so much easier with my artwork right before me, and with the Cintiq, I feel that would be a possibility. Still, something this expensive is going to need a lot of money invested, even for a used one (which I tend to go for. There are so many people who use items for maybe a few weeks or a few months, and then can't return them because the return policy has expired).

And finally...
-The 2016 iPad Pro, if they ever come out with a 2016 edition of the Pro that came out this past year. Rather than running out to get the 2015 model, I'd like for the bugs to be ironed out from the current generation, and wait for something much better. Besides, this iPad I'm typing on is just a 2014 model I waited and anticipated for. ^^ It would be a shame to get rid of it when it is still so up with the times and functions great.

These are just a few things for my life. I hope that in doing these things, I myself can become a better person, improve my life, and take the next step I need to advance forward in my life. I also wish the same for my friends, and that together, we can make this world a better place. n.n Thank you everyone.

Whew, been a while since I posted a journal. ^^ Quite a bit has happened since my last post, back in June.
First off, my Department Manager position is incredibly awesome!! It's so much work... Some days, I even cry. But, it's everything that I wanted. ^^ Responsibility over an entire department can be a lot of work, and requires a lot of dedication. But, thanks to fellow associates and management, I think I can pull it off! Each day is filled with new challenges, from fixing shelves full of broken product, or misplaced items, to setting shelf tags and updating displays, to coming up with new strategies for what works best with fellow Department Managers. Some days, we work together to find a way to clear up the backroom (It gets so stuffed with freight some days that I'm practically drowning!). But with a little help, and a clear mind, I've been through my freezer, underwent six months worth of reconstruction in our entire store, moved my freight to reefer semi-trucks for at least four of those months, and am now dealing with the challenges of organising my freight and gettin' it together! It's quite a challenge, and having no "internet" connection for the handheld devices we were given can make it a complete mess! Some days, I accomplish more than others, but there are always days to work on. Everyday, we grow a little more, and each day we find ourselves faced with new situations and new hardships. With a positive mind, I know we can tackle these issues, and in doing so I myself will learn a lot more about becoming an effective Department Manager!

In August, I had a little visit with a good friend of mine, some of you may know. :3  luigi-vaporeon, who lives over 13 hours away, took a plane flight to visit me in my hometown on the Canadian border =^.^= We had all sorts of fun, although he did get cold! Michigan's Upper Peninsula is a lot colder than Pennsylvania, especially in the later months of the year! We did all sorts of fun things, from playing games like Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate to taking trips for a lil' sightseeing! The visit he had with us was short, and I was sad to see him go...but, we had such a great time, we know we will want to do this again, maybe even next year! n.n (If you want to see some things that are in my area, try looking these places up on your search engine:

There are so many places in my area... Sightseeing is definitely worthwhile where I live! I imagine if Pokemon were real, I would have QUITE a few Vaporeon living here xD (Well, apparently my element is "supposed" to be water based on a number of personality quizzes. Even several Eeveelution quizzes hinted I was Vaporeon). If anyone were to come here, I'm sure they would greatly appreciate the wildlife and waters...and the lakeshore! My area brings in a LOT of people from around the world!

That being said, the past few months have been trying times. My car ended up having a few problems of its own (Luigi even experienced a few moments where my car was excessively loud). I've probably put a good 1,500$ in parts altogether to keep this car up and running. The most recent issues were tire rods, exhaust coupler, broken speed sensor (that caused me a lot of grief... m(_._)m), and a whole slew of other problems. I even had the side of my car crunched in when parallel parking. ;_; And it was my fault. No but's. But that situation's taken care of (hopefully...), nobody got hurt, and if anything it just looks like a really ugly scratch...with crinkle spots ;x; My poor car! D':
So, funds are low, what else is new right? XD; So many of us are dirt poor that we can hardly make ends meet, yet we still play games and still find time to commission each other. Funny how life works, isn't it? XD
I'm also going to be saving up for a new computer! So I'm going to need as much help as I can get. I love this laptop to pieces, a good friend of mine (who isn't on here anymore) sent it to me when my previous laptop blew (It was dying anyway, so I just tell myself it was bound to happen ;u;''), but now I think it's time for a true upgrade. An actual desktop computer I can use to draw my artwork on.
That's right! Digital artwork is becoming a reality! I have come a long ways, and my artwork has rapidly improved in terms of colouring. I think I can safely take digital commissions as an alternative to traditional artwork. There will still need to be lots to improve upon, but that's what learning is all about, isn't it? Learning from our experiences to make things a much better place for everyone, ourselves included! Ganbaremashou ne? (Let's give it our all, right? ;3)

So, if anyone is interested in assisting me (XD lawl) in affording the new computer, I've got $303.22 saved up, looking to spend around $1,000 to build the machine itself. The monitor I can worry about later, looking at around 23" on the low side. So, it'll be a looooooot of saving to do xD I'm primarily wanting to do this via commissions (still tackling a huge load), but as always, donations are welcome~ (Just send me a Note and I'll give you my Paypal if you're interested in donating. I'm not leaving it out here in the open xD; )

Other than that, I'm playing Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon, and OMG... ;u; PERFECTION. Near perfection at least. Can't have every awesome feature from the previous games, but daaang, this one's pretty spot-on! The music is just GORGEOUS. The game fluctuates between humour and "feels" all the time, with some downer moments making you want to "b'aww" and give the characters a big hug. I've been waiting for a sequel to Gates to Infinity for a number of years now, and this next installment in the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series is honestly not half that bad! The game mechanics are updated and present new challenging situations, offering new ways to battle other than just Moves and Seeds...and Orbs xD I HIGHLY recommend looking into this title, if you happen to be a fellow PMD fan such as myself. You honestly won't be disappointed. xD I would give away any info but dang--so many spoilers, I'd end up ruining the game for everyone xD So! If you're into that game series, check it out, give it a shot, and prepare for a lovely adventure full of laughs and moving moments with fellow Pokemon! n.n

Hello everyone!

I will be going on vacation starting the evening/night of the 25th, and will be gone until the 2nd of June. c: Where am I going, you might ask? I'll be going to visit this guy -->  luigi-vaporeon I've known him now since March 2008, so we go a little ways back you could say. ^^

This will be the first year he and I make contact, and in person! He lives over thirteen hours away from me, and I will be driving (yes driving, I'm too poor to afford a two-way ticket for myself my wife and my daughter) all night to make it there at a decent time. c: We're both really eager for this... hoping to spend a lot of good time together!

In other news... I GOT PROMOTED!!!! AHHHHHHHHH1!! >W< I TOTALLY freaked out when I got it. I almost broke down and cried in front of my managers and the store manager. The store manager admitted she 'wanted to see my reaction," and had left the door open to her office for that reason (the offices are inter-connected). This means, starting June 3rd when I make my return, I will be on a TOTALLY DIFFERENT SCHEDULE! AND as a manager!! Yes, that's right--a position as a low-level manager, a department manager for the freezer section of the store. I'm so super eager, maybe even a bit nervous, but dang--a HUGE pay increase (hey, a 4$ extra per hour is a lot to me) will definitely be nice. Maybe I'll be able to actually AFFORD things for once.

Anyhow, now that you all know the latest and greatest, I'll be packing c: Eastward bound! Here I come!

Ayup, just hit my 19K pageviews mark, now that I'm approaching my 8th year, come July xD; It's been a long trip to this 19K, but hoping I can boost those numbers soon ^^

I do have one question for my viewers though. I HAVE been drawing diapered characters and fat characters as commissions for the last year (thus the complete lack of artwork being posted). I've held off posting too much of it on my main account for several reasons, but given the lack of activity on my accounts both here and on DeviantArt, I'd like to ask:

Should I post the works I've been drawing and uploading over the past year? These drawings normally could only be found on my PaddedVeePaws and TheFatMimiga accounts on DeviantArt, and would make their migration to this account, albeit one or two drawings at a time, per downtime, time permitting, as to avoid flooding people's inboxes with a massive influx of diapered art, fat art, and the like. What do you guys think?

Aye ^^; as usual, I don't like having to do this because I really don't like it when others post a "ohai my birthday's comin' up brah, winkwink nodnod say-no-more" journal, but due to past events from several years back I don't care to elaborate on, here it comes: the obligatory complimentary birthday journal.

Well, well, well! A bit late into the summer season, but at long last I have finally worked out the details (and saved up enough money) to host a summer art contest! ^^
Last year's contests for both summer and autumn seemed to have done fairly well, so I felt that I should do my best to host another art contest. ^^ The idea is basically the same: Draw one of my characters in a situation with one of your characters. The only difference is... there are now multiple categories to select from! So, why is that important, you might ask? This means... there can now be more than one winner! ^^ In fact, there can be winners in each category! If you are interested, please read the rules I have listed below. ^^


Rules
-You must sign up for the Category of your choice. I will then list who has signed up for each Category, as well as the submission of each contestant, at the foot of this journal.

-No more than 1 entry per person.

-No more than 1 category per person.

-Drawings must include one of my characters with one of your characters.
-My characters can be found here: http://matttheumbreon.deviantart.co...../My-Characters

-Drawings must be your own original work. You may not use bases for your entry.

-Drawings may be in any medium you choose (traditional artwork, digital artwork, etc.).

-The characters must be drawn according to the category chosen.

-No Mature or Adult artwork allowed!

-Deadline for Contest Submissions is September 23rd at 9:00 a.m EST.
-Voting will commence on September 23rd at 9:00 a.m EST. Votes MUST BE IN BY SEPTEMBER 30TH AT 9:00 A.M.

Categories

You must draw one of my characters with one of your characters in ONE of the following categories:


-At the beach/pool, doing some kind of beach/pool/water activity (This may include indoor and outdoor water parks). This may include swimming, surfing, laying on a beach chair by the pool/ocean/lake/source of water, building a sandcastle, or other beach/pool-related activities.


-Sports, including Basketball, Baseball, Tennis, Volleyball, Soccer, Track-and-Field/Cross-Country, Bicycling, Fishing, American Football, or any other summer-themed sports.


-Camping, including parks and wooded areas. You may include motor-homes or fifth-wheels (trailers), tents, sleeping bags, or any other camping equipment for this category.


-Summer-Themed Activities. This may include theme parks, vacation destinations, sight-seeing and tourism, barbecues and cook-out's, fairgrounds and carnivals, skateboards and rollerskating... Basically any summer-themed activity you wouldn't normally be able to do when there is snow on the ground!



Judging

-Votes MUST be sent to ME via NOTE.

-Judging will be done only by those who submit an entry to this contest.

-Judging will be done via vote, and voters can only vote for other submissions in their same category.

-Voters may NOT vote for their own artwork!

-Under the premises that there is only one entry per category, the contestant will be declared the winner of that category.

Prizes

Every category will have up to three winners, depending on the number of contestants in that particular category. The prizes are as followed (All prizes are in USD):

-1st Place: 20$

-2nd Place: 10$

-3rd Place: 5$


Winners may choose to receive the money via Paypal, Points (for DeviantArt contestants), or snail mail (as a money order). If none of these options work for you, feel free to contact me and we can discuss other options!
