Mike Pence's personal life oppresses women now, apparently
General | Posted 8 years agoThis is how insane the regressive Left have become; a person *choosing how to engage in their personal life* is now somehow oppressive.
Apparently, Mike Pence will not eat alone with a woman who is not his wife, and will not go to a party that serves alcohol without his wife. This is a *personal choice* of his, and he says it is in order to avoid the temptation to infidelity - and given that he has proven himself a fairly conservative Evangelical Christian in pretty much every other aspect of his life, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and accept that as true until proven otherwise.
Unfortunately, many people (mostly feminists and SJWs) seem to think that by refusing to dine with single women or go to alcoholic social gatherings without his wife, he's refusing opportunities to women and being bigoted and oppressive. In their eyes, it seems, "No means No!" only applies when a woman says it; if it's a man - much less a cis het white conservative male - it doesn't count.
Let's play a game of 'switcheroo', and imagine what would happen if, say, a Muslim woman refused to dine with any men without her husband present, or go to parties that serve alcohol without her husband present. Now I want you to imagine the *absolute silence* from the same groups over this sort of behavior. Indeed, they'd probably say that any criticism is itself hateful and intolerant of Muslims; that's how off the deep-end these folks are.
Ah well; at least it's entertaining watching them freak out over nothing. The blowback is always amusing, too; at some point they're gonna push it too far, and we'll see Trump 2.0.

The Gay Mafia are at it again...
General | Posted 9 years agoHonestly, Christian wedding suppliers should just claim they're Muslim, and they wouldn't run into this sort of garbage.
TL:DR - two Christian artists are being sued for refusing to make invitations for a gay wedding, and could face jail-time or fines. This is exactly what my own church warned of when the gay marriage issue was being pushed. Naturally, the gay rights activists insisted that this wouldn't happen, that we had nothing to fear... and now it's happening, again and again and again.
For being called a homophobe pretty much constantly by leftists, they really can't tolerate other people not being forced to work for them.
