I joined it before it died, then it came back. I did it because dA sucks ass (and was spywared,adwared and ad-ed and wanted you to pay to even SEARCH) andSA decided to pull their free expression because they signed up for some spyware/adware site that wouldn't let them have porn. So FA was that last bastion of expressive freedom where people could post their annoying 5 gajilluion pictures of their cat.

Just got done reading the plays of that shooter guy from VTech. I really don't know why everyone thinks they are so bad other than the fact that they both have a HUGE GRAIN of truth in them. Especially the one called Mr. Brownstone. That one kinda hits close to home. The way the kids win all that money and then the guy gets it taken away from them. Just like out government to it's people, like the employer to the employee, like the rich to the poor, and the government to the rich which are the employers to the employees. How my friend get's a paltry sum of money for welfare while the fatcats in the government are eating $1000 plates of food in foreign countries.
Of course the media and all the sheep are going to say he was disturbed, and wasn't in his right mind and pay no attention to his writings.
He was frustrated and he did the only thing he knew how to do to get results. Since our system is so fucked up that the havenots get screwed and the haves get rewarded. Frustrates me too, though the people I'd be aiming at are political figures so it'd do me no good to get a gun and run down and try and take pop shots... I'd get caught Waaaay before I even got close. Course the frustration is that NOTHING is being done about all the political fuck ups, and we can't vote them out because they have the system rigged. Yarg... so yeah I can see where the kid is coming from. The people without power can do nothing but stand by and watch the people WITH power and money screw up their lives and the planet.

Yeah, anyways, I at least got the jist of what he was trying to say while the media is going to cover it over and say they are SOOOoooo disgusting and heinous. Really the plays are cleaner than a rap song, and the imagery as well.

Well, I have now submitted my first 'Adult' piece. It's a story, hastily written on my NDS after getting ideas from paroozing the site. No I probably won't be doing any pics, as it's hard enoough to get the basic anatomy right, don't want to screw up the other 2000th bit/s. Dunno if I'll write another story since most of the ones buzzing in my head involve HOOmans.

Well, someone on my watch list packed up and moved on. I'm debating with myself to do the same.

I don't like kiddie porn, and that's what I see that they are allowing in. Ans I really don't like the fact that they never enforced the rule to begin with and then SUDDENLY are like, "weeeeell ya know...".

It's like living in an apartment complex that didn't allow children and you came to that place specifically for that, then suddenly people with children start showing up and the admin does nothing and finally it's overrun with children and then the admin is like..."were just going to allow it". Lest to say you were paying for no children and you just got screwed. Of course that argument doesn't exactly work here since this is a free place and you know if it's free you have no rights to complain.

However there are those that rip people to shreds for leaving. I do hope people know that boycotting something IS a legal practice you can do in order to show your displeasure of something. And that's what these artists are doing, boycotting. They are using their legal right in order to protest something.

As for me leaving, I feel strongly against kiddie porn. And there are those (including the admin) that believe kiddie fur porn is OK, because it's "not real". Yet they are the first in line that are wearing fur suits and living the furry lifestyle. If it's a lifestyle, it sure as HELL is real!

What I don't like is the fact the admins didn't just say, pack your things and go off and MAKE YOUR OWN SITE!
YES! People have the right to make thier own site! While I don't agree with what they want to draw, I DO agree they have the right to make their own site.

So in the end, I may just leave, it's not like I have a lot of time to update or that anybody really looks at my work anyways. I was hoping to update it when I got some free time. I want to say that I DON'T support this kind of art.

Edit: Though I should define what I consider "kiddie porn". I consider kiddie porn to be that of a child (obviously under the age 16, since I consider 16 an adult.) engaged in a sexual act with someone obviously over the age of 19. (Why not 18, well because 16-18 is only 2 years and I feel that teens can be with teens.)

I do not consider general naked pictures or pictures of underage furs as "kiddie porn" since even on TV it's "cute" to show naked but cheeks. :eyeroll: I do not conisder two underaged furs having sex as kiddie porn as it IS legal for minors to have sex likes bunnies. Interesting strange, but true. Even more funny if the picture is of two bunnies going at it..

However having an obviously older adult having sex with an obvious child is just sick in my opinion.

Why don't I think that naked underage furs is "kiddie porn" when in RL it is? Because it IS a piece of art in which there can be no photograph and no obvious illegal act is happening in the photo. Kids with erections usually happen on the time, unless they are super under age... then that's just...wrong..
Kids having sex is also not illegal and fairly common.
However adults and children is illegal and I feel strongly against it.
Also, some sonic art makes everything look like they are kids >_>

I hate the new name for the Nintendo Revolution, only because parent's aren't going to know about the whole "We are" and the Japanese "ii" crap. They are going to know it's a system named after both a slang term for urine and for male genetalia. Also, it's a term meaning small whereabouts in the UK.

Well, apperntly there is a brushfire concerning the new Otakon poicy that may or may not exist. So, far I haven't seen a copy paste of the original forum post since the Otakon board is "Members onry!!!!" (Yeah a little game reference in there..) So I can't say YES they are st00pid for banning all fanart or, geez people that's not exactly what was meant.

However my commentary lies on the fact of why they'd want to ban it in the first place. I got into some heat over at DA for accusing someone of stealing art. I lost. What was it all about? Well someone printed out a screenshot from Utena, TRACED OVER said screenshot, changed a few lines here and there and BAM, "This r my character!!111" I even HAVE the exact screenshot. You could SO tell where it came from because the only lines that were added was int he clothing and a curl here and there for the hair. Even the kitten was still there.
If this is the type of art they are banning and Otakon I say GO FOR IT! I'm tired of seeing screenshot/manga traces passed off as original art or fan-art. I mean I've seen a ton of Yuugi's and Naruto in the exact SAME pose the exact linage and the exact style in PUBLISHED MAGAZINES. I can agree with having the same pose, but the character is obviously in your style or such, because that's what makes it different.
What my take on digital art with multiple prints? (People seem to have a problem with this one as well.) You buy posters don't you? I don't see anything wrong with it, though the printouts prices SHOULD reflect their easily reproducable nature of the art. I mean $40 for a printout SHEESH. That and ink cartridge and a 1/3 right there.

Since I seem to use my journal to make complaints, I think I shall use it as such... so the complaint for the day is:
"Go see my gallery at $"

I just hate it when I'm browsing art and take a gander at a certain piece and this person has in the descrition:
"Go to my gallery at (DA|SA|Elsewhere) for a description." Uhm...NO, I came to your gallery here for your art, and if you can't post the description here, then just don't post art here, since you obviously like the other place better. I mean some of us don't like the other places or haven't signed up for them. Why? Because THIS is the spot we want to use for our art. Also it draws traffic away from this site, since perhaps some people are like me, they follow and link and never come back

I dunno if I had an art site I'd delete those submissions and if the user had enough of them just ban them completely, I mean..why are you using my resources when you want everyone to go to the other art site anyways.... This isn't an advertising board. Honestly *I* at least know how to use Copy|Paste.

Hrmm..thiking about my last entry and the fuzz surrounding "Mr. dante", I don't see a whole lot of rules that address something like that in forums.

Basically, I never see a rule that says:
"You are resposible for having full control of your account, if behavior emerges that is against the TOS/EULA/etc. then you will suffer the punishment for that offense. NO EXCUSES! Failure to maintain control over your account is not OUR problem."

That way some of these people can't weasel their wait out of blaming someone else when someone calls them on their error, or if it was an actual error of letting little bro take over, then punsihing the person for letting us-all suffer for it.

Honestly, you know that your "others" are going to trash your stuff, be resposible and take responsiblily and be prepared to suffer the responsibility when you do let your guard down.
I do realize that some hacking does occur, but usually that involes LOTS of stuff being changed around, like profile info, e-mail address and other stuff. However these victims of supposed hacks.. they are back in the same account witht he same # of posts. A little TOO convient if you ask me.

Then again, I'm not a mod anywhere except on my own site with has/had a BBS and a forum I've yet to install. Really not many people visited in the past to warrent more that a postboard. The BBS is locked down however due to SPAMming so until I get my website back up to fullsail it's going to remain down.

Why do Admins always buy the
"My brother/sister/nephew/cousin/someguy got on/somehow accessed my account and uploaded stuff that obviously violated the TOS!" We all know this is BS, because we all with siblings know that we password everything and don't give shit out. It just pisses me off when admins swallow this always tried excuse. It's like saying "The dog ate my homework."
