So, this year's VF is around the corner! In two weeks I'll be heading up with my brand new body suit and having a new and amazing experience I have yet to encounter. I say that cause a fullsuit is a totally different experience from a partial. Kinda wondering why I even bothered with partials. Might as well not had a fursuit at all.

Fuck yes you can! Just don't look into it as any type of invitation. Just as friends. I'm a married man. Still won't turn down free booze. XD

Gonna have to say no. Here's why: I don't really like to dance. I do it sometimes, and very awkwardly, but I like being able to walk into the dance floor, wiggle around, and then leave. Not really my thing.

Can I buy breakfast, lunch, or dinner sometime?
Free food is also awesome! I'll be going out to dinner with friends probably every night, so you're welcome to join us.

I saw an amazing movie today. Life of Pi. I just had to tell yall about it. Not many movies make my cry, but this one sure did. I can't quite explain why it did either. It was just an amazing story told very well. Sometimes that's all it takes.

I haven't seen something this wonderful and amazing from Hollywood in a long time. I really think you should go see it. It's a bit under the radar right now, but I expect it to be nominated for Best Picture.

Edit: So, 5 minute of Googling and I find out that not only has this movie been out since November, but it's already nominated for Best Picture. Call me Captain Last-to-Know. X.x

I have decided to give up on  vancoufur. This will be my last year driving up to Canada for this convention. I just feel that not enough of my friends are able to join me, and spend most of their money they save for cons this time of year for FC or ECCC. So many have backed down on VF it's depressing.

Not only that, but I realized I can DO FC! I get free flights and the time off I could trade from canceling VF. I hate to trade one for the other, but I can't afford the time off. My job doesn't give me much, and I can only do so many cons each year.

SO, Have fun at FC yall, and I'll fly down with you next year for FC14! :) Till then, look forward to seeing me, for the last time, at VancouFUR 2013!

NEW CAR ACQUIRED!

Bought it on friday, and I just got the call that it's ready to pick up today! I'll be taking  talryk with me to be a part of this big moment.

Heading out to Bermington today to, hopefully, buy my new car! Found a way to get it now instead of in Feb. If I get a decent trade in value, It can do it. Here's to good luck and hopes I actually get to drive home in something brand new and shiny. :3

Just a lil "if you give a shit" journal on my life right now.

First things first. Between the stress of my job, loneliness and some local furry drama, I have started to have a bit of a breakdown. Between the help of my friends & wife and my own emotional diligence, I've kinda kept with it. But it's been really hard. Thanks to everyone who's helped me with my episodes on Twitter. You guys are true friends. Thank you.

Christmas actually made things worse for me by getting me in a horrid depression, which fueled all my other issues. I tried to forget the fact that yesterday during Xmas day I was: Alone, at work, sick as a dog and stressed as hell. But I guess it got the better of me. I don't think I really said anything stupid yesterday, but it's really a challenge for me. I'm temped to see a stress therapist.

BUT, I am getting through it, and I felt I should say something just in case I say something stupid. You guys can perhaps be a lil patient with me cause of what i'm going through right now.

On the positive side of things, there is a SLIGHT chance I will be getting my NEW CAR this weekend! :D :D :D I will be going to Bremerton friday to check out the trade in value of my car. The deciding factor on weither I get my car NOW or late February. Worst case: I go home with nothing and no progress. Best case: I actually drive home from Bremerton with a new car!!! We'll see what happens. Maybe I'll get a xmas gift this year after all. Kinda wish I could get at least one. :(

So, this is kinda a response to my last journal. The result of all that is the following:

I told MJ I will not stop making tshirts or stickers. Logo isn't going anywhere.

MJ will not be given use of the furlifenw twitter for now. Trust was betrayed on that front, and the Furlife twitter will continue to be run by just me, Fuzzypaws, Keeko, Kijani and Razzy.

Other then that, things have been resolved. I know alot of you were complaining about MJ and the group, which is kinda unrelated, so I had a gathering with the "Furlife congress" about what to do. Basically, we all agreed that MJ has his little episodes but it's not something we should freak out about. Some wanted a new group, and we don't think that's really worth it. All it would do is shrink the group and cause drama.

SO, if you have issues with MJ, I really think you should just TALK to him. Or ask for that "town hall meeting" someone suggested. But rebelling and making a new meetup group isn't the way to go, guys. Lets just keep trucking on and use the Furlife meetup group for what it's for. And keep supporting out logo with tshirts and stickers. :3

EDIT: I have heard through the rumor mill that someone took matters into their own hands and is trying to make a new meetup group called Evergreen Furs. Guys, lets not jump into a bad situation. I appreciate your passion, but alot of the most senior and involved people in Furlife (furlife congress) got together and agreed making a new group would be a pretty bad way to go. Don't let MJ's .... quirky personality divide the group.

Ok guys, I guess It's time you hear about what's going on with MJ Fox and Furlife.

I'm sure alot of you have heard a few rumors about MJ Fox and the Furlife stickers / logo. Here's what happend.

The day before WFS, I got a sorta "cese and desist" email from MJ Fox. Saying I "can not sell the stickers" and he forbid me to. Also said it was messed up I was making profit off of it, even though I SPECIFICALLY told EVERYONE I was making NO profit off of the stickers. I just needed help paying for the cost of printing them. No idea why MJ didn't get that message.

Anyway, it didn't end there. Because of his pre-WFS email, I decided to give away the stickers for free and simply accept donations from anyone who was willing to help me pay for my Furlife related costs, as a way to keep everyone (MJ Fox) happy. That honestly was a better plan. I got such amazing support from all of you guys! THANK YOU ALL!

Anyway, it didn't end there. After WFS, Both me and Stripey (KittyLuvsMonster) got emails from MJFox asking us to both "cese and desist" with the Furlife tshirt. Basically, MJ said he had "plans for 2013" that apparently didn't include me or Kitty Loves Monster. Again, I don't wanna quote specific words said in the email due to privacy of others.

He also demanded I give up the furlifenw Twitter account he NEVER USES, even though he has access to it. This was AFTER he had attempted to hijack furlifenw by trying to change the email and password without discussing it with me or any other of the operators of that Twitter account. This happend only a few hours after WFS ended on Saturday. Fortunately, the account was registered under my email, so I was able to reset the password back and block the account email change. MJFox is currently banned from accessing the furlifenw Twitter account due to that rash action of his.

So TL:DR version:

MJ Fox is trying to:

- Take over furlifenw Twitter
- Kill the Furlife NW tshirt made by Kitty Loves Monster
- Kill the Furlife NW stickers
- Kill the Furlife NW logo period by buying it off me to own the rights.

So, with all this info you guys have now, I want to hear your thoughts and your opinions. What would YOU like to be done? Do you want me to give MJ what he wants? Maybe a diffrent action? Furlife isn't about what I want or even what MJ Fox wants. It's about YOU GUYS. Furlife is a community. A democracy. Something I feel MJ Fox has forgotten. Please express your opinions as you see fit. Please keep it respectful, however.

EDIT: GUYS! Keep in mind this is about the Furlife LOGO, and MJs request of the logo. If there are other issues with the group, lets keep that separate. I'm not making this journal to start some type of revolution. I want to know if you guys want to KEEP THIS LOGO, or dump it for a new one like MJ says.

So, more news on da moms.

My Mom:
Today my mother was released from the hospital. Bad news is, she was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation aka congestive heart failure.

..... I had a hard time with it on the walk home, but I think I'm ok now. I just had to think about things logically and not get over emotional. The fact is, if she was THAT bad, they never would of released her from the hospital. I guess I'm just worried that we might get test results back that could give he a set time left to live. That scares me alot. Just gotta take this one a day at a time as she'll be going back to the hospital for tests frequently.

Mother in-law:
Despite her still not being able to walk or move her hands, the doctors say she'll be sent home next monday for sure. I guess spinal swelling is common for this type of surgery. She said her doctors aren't really concerned much at all. So that's good.

Weird day so far....

Been sick as shit, suck in my bathroom for about 5 hours total today. Cause of that it took me a while to write this journal. Wonderful FYI, right?

Anyway, feeling weird today.

Both of my mom's are in the hospital. My mother in law got spine surgery recently. Actually something routine for her since she's had back issues for decades now. Well, I just heard that she had yet another, but this time something happend. Since the surgery, she hasn't been able to move her hands. We're hoping it's just a lil post-surgery swelling in her spine that will calm down soon.

The other issue is my own mother. My dad called me tonight to let me know what's going on. She's in the hospital for her ongoing cough. She's had a bad cough for years, but I guess she had a really bad fit of one earlier this week and went back to the doctor. THey finally tied it with her heart beats being irregular. Doctor freaked out and sent her to the ER. That's where she's been since wednesday. They are giving her different meds to see which can get her heart beats more regular.

So, nothing too serious, just scary. I guess we'll know more in a few more days of bed rest for both mommys. BTW, thank you for all the kind words on Twitter. Your support makes me feel a lil better. :)

Hey guys!

Just a little rant about where I am in my life and what's going on.

First thing I wanna get off my chest is my fursuiting status. I haven't really been the same after RF. I'm not sure what it is, but I think suiting as Mukiteo kinda changed my perspective.

Ok, say you ride a tricycle. You LOVE riding that tricycle. You've known of others who ride bicycles but you don't feel the need cause you love riding your tricycle so damn much. But then you borrow someone's bicycle and now you can't ride your tricycle and feel the same anymore. You feel like you've been missing out, wasting your time.

That's kinda how I feel with fursuiting right now. Because of that, I wasted no time and hired razzylee to make me a fully body suit. It won't be ready till late April. Suiting hasn't been the same since borrowing Mukiteo at RF. I don't feel like I'm suiting. Just feel like I'm naked on my torso. Ug.. I dunno. Hard to explain. While I have suited up a few times since RF, it's not the same experiance anymore. :( While I am really enjoying the new leggings, it still isn't quite the same feeling I had with Mukiteo. April can't come soon enough.

However, I am soon to get a brand new tail to replace the tail made by Rarakie. The one Rarakie made me was good, but I just kinda hated the look of it. It doesn't look like a coyote tail. It looks like a husky tail. Mostly cause it's really small and curves quite a bit. While my new tail curves as well, it's ALOT bigger and longer. Alot more huggable too, which is a big deal. ;3 I also have some WONDERFUL fursuit shades made by Scapegoat that should arrive in the mail any day now! With those cool shades and a new tail, perhaps I'll have a lil burst of confidence to perform at WFS11. :3


New Car:

I've been really stressed the last month or two. I have gone over all of my spending after being in the hole for two months. I cut alot of spending to prep me for car payments starting in Feb/March. I plan to be buying a new car in February, just in time to use it for a Valentines Day roadtrip to Portland, and a furry convention road trip to VancouFUR in March. I'm getting a BRAND new Hyundai Elantra GT. Fully loaded. Should be a little under $30k after taxes and fees. I've already done all the math and homework. I can afford it. BUT, only if I KILL my debt. I've been working like crazy to kill my credit card in time for February. It's been a bumpy road, but I should make it just in time.

Holiday pay has gotten me back in black and cutting off my commissions has helped me stop the never ending cycle of debt in my credit. I am hoping to have my card paid off soon. I'll take money outta savings if I have to. I'm very excited about my new car. I can't stop thinking about it. But at the same time, the whole money aspect of it has made me very stressed. So stressed that I am constantly feeling next to tears. Money always stresses me out. More then anything else in my life. All my stress will go away after my first car bill arrives in the mail and I can get back on a regular financial routine. Combine that with the rising stress from my job, and I'm kinda going a lil bonkers right now.

BUT, i'm being a trooper and just truckin' on! I have some meets coming up in a couple weeks, but till then I'm just working, eating, pooping, and doing laundry. The work week is the hardest cause I don't get to see my wife till Wednesday due to our new schedules. But, anyway, I digress. Boring and stressful is my life till February. But in Feb, everything changes. Everything gets damn exciting!

I was just casually watching American Dad today with the wife (a show I have grown to enjoy recently), and I see this scene after Stan and his boss go club hopping. They do a gag were they hop from place to place you would never expect, like a goth club and what not. This was the LAST place they club hopped to. A furry convention. When it came up, I was like, OMG WTF, and I kinda squee'd a lil. But then the squirrel suit walked in, and then the car gag.... Then I totally face palmed. Oh god, national media. Why, oh why?

It's season 4 episode 4 if you wanna see it. The episode where Stan and Roger get stuck on a desert island. I think the writers found out about furries at the time they wrote those episodes and had a field day with em.

Ok. Time to be honest guys.

I'm never getting my new car at this rate. My goal to get my car was to KILL my credit cards before February so I don't have too many bills at once. Pretty much just take the money I put in my CC every month into my car payments. It'd be about the same amount.

That's NEVER gonna happen if I can't pay off my cards by the new year. Combine that with my new tail and Xmas gifts, I won't be able to do it. So, I'm basically severing my spending. To do that, I'm canceling ALL my pending commissions.

With the following exceptions:

- Artists who have already started work.
- Artists who are partially paid or fully paid.
- Artists on my exception list aka "E-List" (with extreme moderation). Those being:
 spazzykoneko,  daggerleonelli,  technicolorpie and  tygurstar.

This also means the "Lake Party" commission will also be canceled. I'm sorry to those who were included who were looking forward to it. :(

I'm not really sure when I can let myself open back up for commissions again. Probably not for a long time. Even after I get my car payments balanced out, I have a new TV to save for AND a new computer. It just never ends! X.x

Art commissions might just be something I have to give up on for a long long time. :( Thank you to those artists I had to back out on for understanding.

DON'T YOU TALK BAD ABOUT DASHIE

So, still not RF journal. Been kinda anti-social this last week. Mostly because of the World Series. Really special time for me, and it takes priority for me guys. Really sorry that I kinda decided to stay home this week, but Giants baseball is one of my biggest joys / passions in my life. 2010 was magical, and I don't wanna miss this years since my work schedule will actually allow me to watch every game on TV.

However, I will be out and about Halloween night in Endmonds, Washington. I'll be downtown there with several other fursuiters. Despite it being a work night, I'll be there! Probably have to go home at about 7-8pm, but it will still give me a few hours to be in fur and with friends. :)

Once the World Series is over, I plan to spend more time with you guys. Probably during the week after work since I'm alone in my apartment anyway. Probably won't visit with my buds who are like WAY up there, but if you're like 30 min away, I'm totally up with chilling! :)
