Slow progress is slow. Dagnabit. D:
Posted 16 years agoSo, mucking around with various cosmologies and such. Want to play off the overworld vs underworld thing more. Though I do have some story ideas floating around my head.
One is inspired by the Atma / Ultima Buster picture done by Oniontrain, involving an adventurer or military captain coming face to face with a terrible devil of sorts, wrethed in red flames and such.
Other idea revolves around a long dead advernturer girl who hasn't come to terms with her own death, her spirit dragging around her skeleton and tattered armor in an attempt to keep on "living" her life.
Or something like that. Hope to eventually get myself to making substantial progress on either of those or some other idea.

First ramble and such.
Posted 16 years agoSo, thinking of keeping so sort of journal here on my writing and thoughts and crap, even though I'm feeling a bit shy on putting up my past writings and such. *shrug* :/
So, where am I at now, you ask? World and idea building. Been on a sorta Legend of Zelda kick, what with looking at themes from The Legend of Zelda for NES, what with its Overworld vs Underworld kinda thing going, and A Link to the Past, with the Light World / Dark World dichotomy.
Not writing fanfiction here, folks, nor do I shamelessly rip off already made things (or, at least, I try not to. D: )
Currently exploring a dual world cosmology. Two goddesses, two worlds, neither really good nor evil. Each has elements of both. Imere, the more "conventional" looking world, has your typical blue skies, green forests, knights, wizards, blah. Civilization, mercy, and the like are the virtues of the yet-to-be named godess that made this place.
The other world is more exotic and strange, where I plan to have to keep the realy exotic looking things. Agrionok, the second world, operates more on a survival of the fitest, die an honorable death in combat, strength-over-mercy kinda thing, with inhabitants and creatures much more fierce (though not necessarily evil as one might think) to live up to the ideals of the yet-to-be-named-as-well sister godess.
Still idea building and playing around with other things currently. D: Hope I'm not becoming lazy in my chosen craft.
