Easter Stream Weekend!
Posted 8 years agoOn the weekend of the 16th April, I plan to host two different sessions :D One will be a Patreon show, and the other will be a freebie raffle o3o That means anyone watching at the time, stands a chance to win a free drawing.
Both streams will have an Easter Holiday theme, so there's sure to be lots of eggs and bunnies abound~ ( •͈ᴗ•͈)
I'll only be able to say exactly when each stream is happening closer to the time, however I definitely want to do two streams around then. Right now, it looks like one show will be on the Sunday evening, then the next one's that Monday evening. I'll confirm this again before the weekend though.
That's it for now! I've also loaded new drawings today, so I do hope you enjoy those <3 Stay safe and savoury out there ٩(º౪º๑)۶

I meant to actually host my first stream last week, but my day job's been KICKING MY ASS. The beginning of the year's usually very busy, but I never quite expect how busy, especially after the lengthy lull we go through leading up to Christmas. It just left me way too exhausted and creatively drained to host a meaningful stream >x<

In terms of Commissions, I'm working to open those up in February. The 2nd's my birthday btw *sprinkles confetti* ﾟ･✿ヾ╲(｡◕‿◕｡)╱✿･ﾟ But more on all that later!
I've played Slime Rancher on Steam a fair bit (got a fantastic deal on the Winter Sale), and OH MY GAWD, it's almost painfully cute. I couldn't recommend this game more. Seriously.
Also played Postal 2 of all things. It's a crude game, technically and content-wise, but I gotta love the edgy humour >w> Don't judge me~
That's about all that's really worth mentioning! More on what my body went through is described in the pic I uploaded today ;D

So far this December's been busy for me, and tomorrow, I'll be driving all the way up to my home country to visit my parents for the Christmas season.
Due to the way my schedule for the trip has panned out, I won't be able to do another livestream this month! ;w; It will be first time I've only managed one of the two Patreon streams I usually do, which bums be out.
I won't have any opportunity to stream once I'm there, and even if I did, the internet is a quarter or less of the speed I get here.
To make up for this, I will be hosting three streams in either January or February, depending on how hectic the start of the year gets. I also wanna host some freebie streams in between too, but I will announce my intended schedule in the beginning of next year.
In the meantime, I'm also working on some personal projects that you might enjoy, one involving a facehugger, another with cooking, and one more with transparent-gut digestion 0w0; There's also a delightful comic project I've been working on for yonks now, which I'm working to get finished sooner rather than later. More on all this again soon!
I hope you have a fantastic holiday season, and if you're traveling for your vacation, stay safe out there! <3 Also, in case I don't get to say it on the days, Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!!

Should I draw as many "quick" sketches, for as many raffle winners as possible? Or should I draw one big drawing for one lucky winner? :0c
Another fun idea posed by Hamilton4, is if we do take the single, detailed drawing option for a stream, we could do it as a team-effort. Mutliple raffle winners could decide which features they'd like to see in the pic, and I would do my best to incorporate all of that into a single image.

I've been doing my livestreams for a while now, and every time, it leaves me happy that so many of you enjoy the show I put on <3 To know that you have fun, and even learn something with me, means a whole lot!
It's in this spirit, that I want to hear how you think I could potentially optimize the experience, and perhaps make it more enjoyable? I've got some possibilities I want to run by you, so see what you think! \^3^/
1. Over the course of a stream, do you prefer watching instead of listening, or do you listen to the stream more than you watch it?
- This statistic could help form my decisions in terms of some of the ideas below :)
2. Should I use my mic to narrate certain things I do?
- The reason I've held back on this is because I'm somewhat self-conscious about my voice. It's not as melodious as I'd want it to be >//w//<; But this may help me respond to text chat faster and more accurately. If you're interested, I could also explain my thought-processes at a given time, when I'm deciding on something in a drawing.
3. Do you prefer I do as many drawings as possible in a single stream, or do you prefer I work intensely on one drawing for a whole stream, and go from constructions all the way to proper coloring? :3c
- This is an important point I want to bring up, elaborated on in the paragraph below!
My day job is 9 hours of constant interaction with people, either in person or over the phone, and being an introvert, lately it's been taking a lot out of me. When I get home, most days I'm so drained, I can't muster the energy to be meaningfully creative. Attempts at creativity leave my drawings too lack-luster, and I forget simple things when drawing, like basic proportions or technique.
In an effort to contain my lewd drawing activity to my weekends, which LUCKILY I usually have free, I'd like to propose two options for my streams:
- Messy sketches, so that I can squeeze in as many drawings for as many raffle winners as possible, in a single session.
- One clean drawing, for a single raffle winner each session.
We don't have to exclusively choose one over the other, I could always do messy sketches one weekend, then a clean drawing the next. It just depends on what you guys want <3
I'm a big fan of Sharue's works on Eka's Portal, and her way of doing sketches has inspired me for years.

What makes this stream casual? For one, it won't be run like my regular raffle streams. I explain more in my other blog post today, but basically my IRL day job had been stifling my creative drive lately, and I'm behind on previous streams' drawings! /)o3o(\ Egads!
To fix this, I thought it would be fun to stream while working on them c: There are six drawings in total, most of which still need to be fixed up or shaded. This is what I'll be doing for most of the stream.
...HOWEVER!
In the spirit of the last stream's suggestions, after I've finished touching up the other drawings, I'll be giving away one free drawing to any lucky winner watching the stream at the time! \:D/
The theme for that free pic will be a transparent predator. The winner's encouraged to request some kind of translucency in their chosen pred, but if you don't prefer the idea, it's not a requirement ^ u ^b It's just all in good fun, and you know me, I'm happy to draw most forms of vore~
Look forward to drawing for you again, and I sincerely hope you enjoy the show! d°//x//°b

It's probably just silly perfectionism on my part, but have no fear, I'm almost done with it, and will have all three of the pics uploaded as soon as possible! >v<;
Additionally, having taken some time off from my day job, I will be able to stream for you guys again tomorrow! This is the first time I've booked off some time this year, so I'm quite pleased to get to spend it fruitfully C:

Posted 9 years agoI'll be holding my first-ever Patreon-funded stream later this evening! \:D/
"Evening" is as always relative though. GMT is in the +0:00 timezone. Look up what your zone's value is, and simply either subtract or add that value to 16:00 to work out when I'm streaming in your local time :3
At the moment of posting this, I'll be holding the stream about 6 hours from now, so I hope that helps!
The way today's stream will work:
Each Patron that tunes in I'll assign a number. I'll then use a random-number-generator to choose which person will receive their free request! ^.^b Today essentially works like a raffle.
I intend to draw at least two requests, hopefully more if time allows for it.

Not every stream will work exactly the same in the future. Today's will be themeless, but future ones will feature occasional topics and genres, to keep things interesting and creatively-focused C:

Today's theme is ANEMONES <3 That's something I wish I drew more of, so this should help straighten that out!
Furthermore, I'd like to hear your suggestions for characters! ^ . ^b
I've been keen to practice character features and hairstyles that I wouldn't normally draw. Drawing such characters in perilous situations sounds like the most fun way to do that :3
In the chat, link me a reference to a character you'd like to see. I'll choose from one of the suggestions, and take a shot at drawing them getting nommed by a sea or land anemone!
For today, please only suggest established characters, from anime or otherwise. While I may accept OC's in a future stream, I'd like to keep today's subject matter more general :)
