The concept of the Bad Artist scale
Posted 4 years agoIt is inspired by AVGN's the Shit Scale. This time, it's about artists and animators (usually from the internet).
1. Very good and talented artists with likeable characters and decent quality, even through it can be primitive.
2. Pretty good, but some major improvement needed to go further.
3. Untrustworthy artist/animators. Sometimes characters are likeable and the quality is decent (or bad), but the creator can be so greedy, with shady practices and antics that may hurt the audience and/or cause drama.
4. Very bad artist with unlikeable characters and sometimes poor quality, but qualifies as an artist. Only for masochists!
5. Major code red: The artists/animators that don't even qualify as artists. They are bad, greedy, do bad things and cause drama. They don't have enough to qualify as an artist and/or animator.
Not bad1. Very good and talented artists with likeable characters and decent quality, even through it can be primitive.

Just bad3. Untrustworthy artist/animators. Sometimes characters are likeable and the quality is decent (or bad), but the creator can be so greedy, with shady practices and antics that may hurt the audience and/or cause drama.
Very bad4. Very bad artist with unlikeable characters and sometimes poor quality, but qualifies as an artist. Only for masochists!

My opinions of furry girls
Posted 4 years agoI love girls. Especially in the furry world. I find them to be much more fun that human women. Note that I like humans too! Now let me make some reviews of furry girls that I like or dislike.
Why are you reading this?
🐯 Buxbi the Tigress... I don't like her. This is not even a real mother character (her aka is "tiger mom"). What I think that she is the concept prototype (like tech demo) created to make money in order to deal with creator's BASIC living conditions and taxes. But for some odd reason, she became popular amongst the furry world.
Her kids were NEVER drawn by official creator, which made me upset. Seriously?! This is against the rules of fictional characters regarding mother characters. What a blatant disregard of mother characters, especially in the furry world. I'm so dissatisfied and disappointed.
But please, do not attack Buxbi and me for that, okay?
🍒
Cherrikissu's 🐶 Mabel the Dog Mom. Now that's some real furry mom, yet her kids are underutilized. She is cute, kind, loving, beautiful and sexy. Speaking of her kids, her son Chase is heavily underutilized with only 2 official (made by Cherrikissu) submissions starring him exist (as of May 2021). As of now, Cheri is milking Caramel and Pepper for profits. Man, I don't like Cherrikissu.
🦊
FOX-POP's Patty Mac Sionnach. One of my favorites. Her distinctive appearance and personality let her become fan-favorite amongst the girls of Fox-Popvli (play on "Vox Populi"). Very cute!
Is my taste depraved?!

"Far more active on Twitter" VOL.2
Posted 5 years agoNOTE: Read my previous journal about this mentality, or you wouldn't understand, ok?
Hello again! The previous entry was about artists (I told about Kilinah (
Kony_Kon) as an example) whom succumbed to "more active on Twitter" excuse. Now let's talk about the websites, which many artists I loved (and disliked) neglect and/or inactive for a while.
Newgrounds
This is seriously one of my favorite art & animation websites. You can play games you desire, review arts & illustrations, watch animations and short movies and listen to music.
But many of them have tendecy to abandon, like artists do. The known examples include
jinusenpai,
Cherrikissu,
sssonic2, Kenron Toqueen [Twitter, Instagram],
TheGentleBro,
3Mangos,
Alfa995 (sometimes) and
TheyCallHimCake. But I don't why, because of vague reasons. Tell me why.
DeviantArt
Poor DeviantArt... bad updates that damaged the reputation; problematic optimization; toxic community 'n stuff. This might be a factor for abandonment of this site. Examples include
Cherrikissu,
Alfa995,
TheGentleBro,
sssonic2,
Peculiart, Kenron Toqueen [Twitter, Instagram], etc. Some of them because technical difficulties caused by updates, some of them because, *sigh*, I dunno.
These people might tend to forget or neglects those sites I've talked about no matter what. Find out the legitimate reason why. Man, I can't wait for all of them to go back to those websites I told.
Hint: last art posted for a while (e.g. 1 months or later) might indicate it.
Moral: your audience is divided by websites. You can have another account for other websites, but don't forget about those sites.

"Far more active on Twitter" mentality
Posted 5 years agoNOTE: This my first sketch rant in my entire life. I was inspired by Filthy Frank's outrageous (but in a good way), yet hilarious rants on subjects, like school, furries, internet rappers and all types of person on the internet.
There's something that's been bothering me for a while. You know the fact furry artists (like
Kony_kon (eventually recovered from it),
Buxbi (also recovered),
Cherrikissu,
TheyCallHimCake) have tendency to abandon FurAffinity to be more active on Twitter, like "far more active on Twitter". Many of them are plain lazy or, um... I dunno, guys. You'll explain me.
I hate Twitter. I don't even want to use this site because of three reasons. First is horrible moderation, which suspended Pyrocynical (one of my favorite YouTubers) for vague reasons. Second is unbelievably bad community filled with idiots, man-children, egotists, cancel culture people and ignorant people. Third is the infamous verification "blue mark" system. It is corrupt, which is debunked by EmpLemon (also my favorite YouTuber). Enough for me! No more!
So let's start with my favorite.
Kilinah
Kilinah is one of my favorite furry artists from United Kingdom who lives in York, England. He works on Tumblr comic project, known as Dust to Dust, a science-fiction detective noir webcomic starring Abbi, a female rabbit homicide dept. detective and MM, a male alien partner in law. As of May 2020, it was put in hiatus as he went for repair his PC and to move to United States overseas. The bad news is he was lazy enough to be inactive from FurAffinity in favour of being more active on Twitter. Also he forgot about Petal's son, Daemo (only drawn it once).
Note: depiction of children of established mother character is important, or else the mother character will fail. Appearance of their son/daughter multiple times is recommended.
UPDATE: he finally recovered following Elon Musk's reign of Twitter. Thank goodness!
Somebody has massive disdain towards FurAffinity activity and/or son/daughters of established parent characters.
Now I want to deconstruct, debunk and review everything I desire. Oh, and to salvage characters I desire. I want to start my artist career, but I have MS Paint rather than digital drawing tablet.
