I'm in an artsy mood but I know that if I just sit down to draw I'll end up with more Link pronz and while I don't really mind that I would like to draw someone else so that you guys don't grow tried of Link =P

Well, perhaps I won't managed to get around to talking about all of that but I needed a journal title =P

Just thought I'd make a little update journal seeing as it was like 16 days since my last one.

Went to see The Avengers on the premiere last Friday and, well, it was awesome =)
I went in expecting it to be a bit bland though, dunno why, so that might have helped making it seem more awesome than it would if I had expected it to be the most awesome thing ever.
Tony Stark/Iron Man was unsurprisingly the best character overall but The Hulk stole the best scene award twice =D
If you like Marvel heroes and especially if you liked one or more of the Iron Man, Thor, The Hulk and Captain America movies, I'm sure you'll like this movie as well. Go see it =)

Played the beta event for Guild Wars 2 this weekend and I'm intrigued. It seems like it could be a great game as soon as people spread out over more zones =) Much of the Charr zone (which was the one I played exclusively) was completely overrun. This meant that at times there was like 30-40 people swarming one of the dynamic event bosses (Flame Legion Shaman) making it a boss only slightly less hard than a raid boss xD Which was silly for a lv 1-10 area =P
Looking forward to playing more of that game, that's for sure!

Not as much as I look forward to Diablo 3 though, only ~14 days left now... *can hardly wait*
Friends who tried it out during the open beta weekend seems to have been less than amazed but I don't care, I want the story... I want it sooo bad =D Gonna be playing a Wizard on my first run, had my eyes on the Demon Hunter first but I'll save that guy for my second run =) Or rather I've promised to play from start to finish with a couple of friends and if I feel like playing when they're not around I might play on the DH then or something.

Uhm... can't really think of more news now, so I guess this will have to do =)

I'm sorry I've not been very active lately... but I invite you all to blame it on my friends xD
Two of my IRL friends convinced me to get Star Wars: The Old Republic (or SWTOR) and damn that game is good...
I have never enjoyed a story in an MMO this much, and the way the dialog work in parties is fuckin' genius =D
I'm not even that much into Star Wars... I belong to that hated crowd that think the three new movies are heaps better than the old ones =P But really, one can not like MMOs and not like SWTOR.

Ok that might be pushing it, I have yet to try out the PvP and have no intention of ever doing so. So I can't really say if PvP loving people would like it =P

There's really so much I love about the game. While the conversations (and the fact that like 95% of all quests are voice acted) is the major positive thing about the game there's also the fact that you have companions that you gain affection with (that also have an impact on your personal story progression), the genius trade skill system and the way it promotes and rewards group play. I also love the space battles (basically cool rail shooters).

There's still things that has to be polished of course but that is to be expected of a game that hasn't been out for two months yet =P I really recommend the game even as it is now though, it's awesome!

And that's enough about that... hopefully I'll find some time to be artsy soon... but the lure of that game is still too great to really resist... I suck at resisting the urge to play games =/ It's not like I get any commissions anyways =P

I have planned of making a couple more examples of the bouncy icon. We'll see when those turn up...

In other news I've finally gotten past 5000 page view, meaning I still managed to get over half of my total views in less than a year. Which I guess is quite good considering I've been on here for about 5 years. Here's hoping this year will bring further improvement and possibly even some commissions =P

Alright, so it's almost become an annual thing for me to open up for commissions but this time I'm gonna keep them open, even if I don't get any (which, going by previous years, is likely) =P

So a new year has come, Happy New Year to all of you =)

New Years Eve was rather uneventful this year, considering people have been firing off rockets all week there wasn't even that much different from the other days this week xD

Last year was a rather disappointing year for me... I hardly got anything right. Still unemployed, still socially awkward, still single, still ugly (though this would be hard to fix without some sort of surgery =P )
I sort of hope that this year will be a better year but I remain realistic and am ready to wage almost anything that in one year's time I will type a rather similar journal to this (that is unless the crazy people are right ad the world ends 21st Dec this year =D )

I wanted to get more done in December but sadly Steam hogged 80% of my attention with their Holiday sale event (though being a gamer first I'm not really all that sad). I managed to get three games for free and a small bunch of coupons.

Edit: Oh yeah, never reached 5000 page views before today (so the kiriban failed) but that's ok I'm very ok with the views I got, still got more this year than my previous 4 years combined which I guess is rather good =)

I just noticed that the WIP pic I uploaded was my 200th submission. That's rather cool =)
I remember that I felt that 100 submissions was a bit special and wanted something meaningful to be my 100th submission, this time I missed it completely though so I guess that WIP will have to do =P

And on to the the kiriban thing. My goal this year is reaching 5000 page views, as mentioned in my previous journal. This is kind of a milestone for me as I'm aiming at one day having gotten 10000 views on FA. When I began drawing I never thought I'd manage that but this year I've gotten over 2500 views so I feel it might actually happen =P Sure, like 1000+ of those view came from the Bla Bla icons but I'll try to think up some other stuff for next year, perhaps they'll catch on the same way =)

So if someone manages to catch my 5000th page view before Jan 1st that person will win a free request from me, this request can be anything of the following:

One (1) Solo or two character image. Adult or Tame (within my rules)

or

Two (2) icons, head/bust of your character + one of a friend/mate/guy you met downtown (possibly with blinking eyes) or serious stuff pair icon.

Since us Swedes are a bit ahead of the others (well some/most others) we celebrate Christmas eve the most. That being the day we give gifts and eat the Christmas dinner. So my celebrating is pretty much over already =P

Spent the day at my mom's place, eating dinner and being all social and then went back home and reverted back to my real loner self again =P


Steam is being mean, like always during the holidays, making me buy new games and keeping me busy playing them to get achievements done in order to win coupons or free games (or coal that I make into coupons or free games)... thus I haven't been working on my art as much as I would have liked... BUT, I shall do so now for a bit, feel free to say hi or whatever on MSN, I do like some "company" when I'm arting =)

This is a call out to all people that has at some point requested something from me and never got it.
I'd like to hear from you, my memory is hilariously bad and I feel I should make a list so that I can remember to finish what I take upon myself. Notes are preferred as that gives me a sort of back-up list should I lose the one I compose myself =P
