Honestly I, don't really have much in the way of anything new to say. It's just that every time I go to this profile (sorry for rarely uploading here btw, I mostly post stuff on my Discord, feel free to add me there!) I keep getting sad whenever I read that old previous Journal from over a year ago where I talked about being a depressed piece of shit. Figured it was just time to put something new there, something less dramatic and whiny. So yeah, here I am. I still draw, still sometimes write (though I've lost nearly all enjoyment for the act), still do commissions, still do RP, still up to chat. Hope to engage more with this fun lil community I have more often! Sorry for taking so long to get around to it haha.

Nah I ain't dead yet, I promise. It's been a hot minute since I last posted anything, almost 4 weeks since my last "real" drawing at the very least. Problem is, I'm LOADED with WIPs and sketches and stuff, but no matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't find motivation to work on them. Some of them are Comms too, which makes it even worse. But this morning I came to a sort of realization? I think I might be, have been, depressed. I know that nowadays that word gets thrown around so much it's practically meaningless, but I hope that this isn't the case here. I have just felt no motivation, no energy, no desire to really do... much of anything. I'll open a canvas, look at a sketch I have for a few minutes, and eventually just tab out. "Nahhh, I just don't feel like I have the creative energy right now." Everything felt like it stopped being fun. Video games were all boring, TV shows felt like a waste of time, just no activity seemed to actually entertain me beyond something to kill time. I just felt nothing the vast majority of each day. Waking up, only to procrastinate on menial tasks for a while, before eventually forcing myself to go through work, and switching my brain off just to I can fast travel back to my bed at home just to start all over again the next day. There was even a period where it kind of felt like everything around me in life was breaking? Small stuff at first. My headphones broke, then my dresser collapsed. The screen at my work's register I use broke. The machine that dispenses cash for said registers, also broke so I had like, no change for a week. One of the most devastating to me was that my ride *to* work also broke down, meaning I had to walk back and forth every day for like forever. One of my Debit cards got a hold put on it, PayPal broke and wouldn't let me accept the money I had waiting in it, my bank's transfer app broke so I couldn't send money to a friend... And these were all within like, a week! God it felt so defeating. But I'm basically writing all this dumb angsty word salad to say, I think I'm getting better. Rather than letting all these broken things sit around me, I've been fixing them. The problems with my bank are fixed up, my ride to work is running again. And I've just been feeling... Y'know, hopeful. More than the last month has been for me at least.

I wanna make an effort to finish all these drawings I've had sitting, collecting dust. I'll obviously start with the ones people will be paying for, those take priority, I have 3 of those currently (at the time of writing this), and I also have like fuckin', 4 or 5 more sketches/requests that I'm doing just for the fun of it. I can't promise that ya'll will be seeing the fruits of this like *immediately* after I post it, I think wach one of my drawings is at *least* a day or two's effort away from being posted to my account lol.

So I dunno. Maybe FA Journals aren't the best place to talk about this stuff? I basically only see people use this to update on commission info, but I prefer to use it as kind of a diary.

That's basically all I had to say, "Sorry for being a fucking sad vegetable for a month, I'm trying to do better", lol. Hope ya'll peeps are havin' a nice day!

Alright boys and girls, fuck the previous journal, I'm doing some new shit. In the last little diary entry of mine, I informed you all that I had a long schedule of original content planned out that I was going to be working on, and you know what happened? As soon as I gave myself a mountain of work to do, I immediately hit a huge wall of creative block and depression. I just didn't want to make a damn thing, and even for the things I did have inspiration to create, I just completely lacked any and all motivation or energy. I needed to practice, to take a step back and just let my creative juices slowly unthaw. I've been practicing a lot of shading, colouring, and lineart over the past couple weeks, and while it's still a bit simplistic and even a bit cartoonish looking, I'm still happy to say that I'm finally at a point where I can draw again. Long gone are the days of "Grant the Yeengod - Sink Deeper", no, now we're getting the good™ art.

Speaking of Grant, pfft, what an old and outdated OC, so last year amirite? Well, sorta. This profile will always stand as a frankenstein of decisions and changes since I can't make up my damn mind. When I first made this profile, "MaxTheRubberPup", I never expected to actually upload anything. It was a lurker account, something I could just watch and comment and such. But when a (now long gone) friend of mine encouraged me to start creating things, I realized I couldn't change my name lol. Even if that friend is no longer with me, I do have to thank him for kickstarting that creative bug in me. Then I decided to make my hyena OC that's been in my head for years public, a hyper-growing Macro yeen, that despite being an actual loveable doofas, often gets treated like some sort of God. I even named him Max initially after my profile, but eventually I got worried that people would see him as some sort of self insert and think that I thought I was some aort of mega-breeder ultra-dom which is NOT the case lmao. I changed his name to Grant, and I even decided to just make a new "Main" sona.
From now on, Grant the Yeengod will just be on a roster of random characters for stories and art, and my new main sona, a particularly depraved possum will be revealed... in my next upload! (unless I colour more Giga art!)

Seriously thank you all for staying with me , I know I basically sit here and do nothing and upload nothing most of the time, but I am still here. I check this site daily even if I don't interact much, so I hope that from now on I can be a little quicker about getting things out to you all, as well as hopefully interact with my audience a little more? (feel free to comment x3)

Here we are again! It's been a number of weeks since I've made my account, and in that time I've made 7 whole uploads! Hopefully you all have been enjoying them, haha. I will say that the most recent story, a wonderful commission about an unfortunate shark, did take a lot longer than I intended it to, which lead to a couple of other projects I was planning on uploading recently taking a bit of a back seat. Now though, I plan on making content a little more regularly now that I've had that wonderful learning experience! Currently on my list is:

- Finish making 1 New original drawing of an OC (Unnamed sea slug)
- Start work on 1 New original drawing of an OC (Lucky the Nullpup)
- Finish making 1 New original drawing of Max the Yeengod
- Write 1 original short story about Max the Yeengod to better explain the OC to my audience
- Write 1 original short story about Lucky the Nullpup to introduce him into the world of characters
- Start work on a series of "Lore entries" for my characters.
- In between all of these, do short story requests!

See, the plan here is to not only do writing and drawing requests/commissions, but to also build up my own little connected universe of characters, factions, concepts, etc. I haven't done too much of that so far save for a couple mentions of the fictional mega-corp known as "GoonTech" being behind the lewd contraptions present in a couple of my stories, but I intend to make them a much more fleshed out and realized story point with it's own lore, characters, and wacky lewd inventions that can feature in my stories. I also want to write more about some of my OCs like Max and Lucky, and how they fit into the weird wonderful world of furry porn logic, all ran by GoonTech. Hopefully that sounds interesting to some of you! I hope to make lots and lots of smutty content for people to enjoy, and really get my ideas out there, while also still managing to make unique content for the people that request or commission it!

Well, here we are. After being a lurker account for ages, I finally decided to get out there and start making things. With the encouragement of a good friend, I've decided that I want to start writing furry erotica, with a specific focus on niche or otherwise "weird" or "extreme" kinks. First upload ever on my page is a nearly 2k words story about an Avali that cums eggs, so maybe that will set the tone going forwards lol. I plan on uploading a second, longer story sometime tomorrow, and likely a third or fourth one immanently as well. The one thing I'm worries about most in this whole venture isn't about getting Faves or Watchers or even really getting paid or anything, it's just viewer interaction. What I really want to see is people commenting on my stories and giving advice, feedback, criticism, or the like. I really want to be close with the followers that I may or may not be getting in the future.

For now, I am more or less open for Requests or Trades. If you have a really good idea for a story that you wanna see written, one that you're worried might be too fetishy for some to write, you can always ask me. I can't promise miracles or anything, or that I'll get around to every request, but if I like a script that you send I'll definitely expand on it. As for trades, I really want to get into the spirit of writing stories that go alongside proper artwork, so I'd absolutely adore to get to collab with some artists out there. Help write stories for them, in return for some drawing requests of my own lmao. But yeah, who knows.

Anyways, this is my first journal giving my thoughts about creating my first upload submission, I look forwards to getting to interact with others!
